Brief Description of Gifts: Kitsune Physiology - The ability to take on the form and use the abilities of the mythological kitsune.
All in all, Inari's abilities are at their most basic. With her main gift being that of Kitsune Physiology - although she is unable to take the form of a fox yet - she is shown having a few 'sub-powers' as well. These are:
Tail (and Ears) Manifestation
Inari has a single fox tail and ears. This is a clear show of her gift, although she is unable to remove them or grow more tails. As Kitsunes are seen in mythology as having up to nine tails, it is believed that she will grow more as time goes on.
Fox-Fire Manipulation
Inari can summon a blue-flame, but she shows no control over this. When her emotions run high, either her tail or something around her will be set ablaze. These flames are harmless to her, but not to others.
Enhanced abilities (Hearing, Smell, Speed, Stamina, memory)
Her fox-like ears lets her hearing being much sharper than a normal human and is on par with a real fox. She also has an enhanced ability of smell, but this comes with a down side that strong smells can put her off. She is also notable more faster and agile than a normal human, but has room of improvement. She can run longer with an increased stamina as well. She also seems to have a photographic memory, which also leads to an increase of knowledge that kitsunes are known to have.
Claw Retraction
Inari can grow claws at will, but they tend not to be very sharp unless she takes good care of them. They seem to also come up with her emotions run high as well, which seems to link that her powers seem to be set off with high emotions. | |
