Awful Energy [Closed]

Ed didn't see the arm coming, and it hit him, breaking several ribs as well as knocking air out of him. His staff went flying down the hill, and he cried out in pain as his head collided with the ground. He was knocked unconcious for a few moments but he regained it quickly. He couldn't move much without wincing in pain. He also had trouble breathing, and expecting death quickly. He spat out blood. "Do it. Do it now. Get it over with." he managed to croak out.

Destiny watch with slight horror as the skeleton reached out a massive hand to grab her attacker. She hated him for doing what he did to her, but she didn't want him to die! She didn't want to stoop to his level.. "N-no! Stop!" She croaked out as best she could, but the massive skeleton didn't stop. The pain in her leg caused her to collapsed to the ground. She let out a pained sound, and tried to stand again but it was hard.

Ed finally regained enough motor control to jump out of the way, rolling down the hill in the direction his staff went. He wheezed and coughed and sputtered the whole way down but the worst thingto happen whatthe his ribs were slowly being pushed into his lungs. He lied at the bottom of the hill, barely able to breath, and awaited the cold embrace of death. But it would not come to him today.

Destiny watched in relief as the guy managed to get away and sort of out of sight of the skeleton. She thought that the skeleton would disappear as it appeared, but it didn't. It sat there for a moment, then turned and looked at Destiny. She froze in fear when she realized it's intent. It wasn't going to stop until it killed something even if it meant the one who created it. She quickly stood despite the pain, and dove away when it reached a hand towards her. She rolled slightly on the ground, and tried to stand again.. What was she gonna do? She looked up at the skeleton, waiting on what it would do next.
