First Steps In

Joe stepped through the gate with a last wave to his parents in their truck. He then turned back to the huge gates before him, Wow... he was thinking, The guy that owns this place most be crazy rich... He swung his huge backpack onto his back and dragged his suitcase behind him. In his mind he kept telling himself, It's gonna be okay, you'll make friends and have a great time! But he was afraid he wouldn't. He stopped at the fountain, looked around to make sure no one was looking, then took a big handful of water then splashed his face with the water.

He looked up after and shook his hair, water flying around. He sat on the edge of the fountain and sighed with relief, he had been sweating a lot with worry along the way here. He heard footsteps and quickly stood up to acknowledge the person coming. "Hi" he said.

After talking with another newly made friend, Sen walked over to the guy with the back-pack and spoke. "Hello. I'm assuming your new here. My name is Sean Stewarts. But just call me Sean."

Joe nodded, "Nice to meet you Sean, I'm Joe" he said cheerfully, putting out his hand for Sean to shake. "What's your power?" he asked intently. ((Short post is short...))

Sean shook his hand. "Nice to meet you too! Oh, and my power is Electro-Manipulation." Sean took his hand away and swiftly cast a shock toward the sky.

"AWESOME!" Joe exclaimed as he saw the shocks go up. "Here I'll show you mine," he said walking over to a bench and picked it up holding it with one hand over his head, "Mine is Super Strength" he finished setting the bench back down and walking back over to him.

"Wow! That must be a really handy power huh?" Sean asked, wanting to find more information on the power of his.

"Yeah, especially when I get stuck on my four-wheeler" he laughed. He sat back down on the edge of the fountain. "So how long have you been here?"

Sean snickered as Joe talked about his four-wheeler. At that moment he heard Joe's question. "Oh. I've been here for about 4 days now. Mostly getting aquanted with people. Your probably going to be the guy that I always go to for advice!" Sean joked.

"That's cool, have you seen any of the teachers yet?" he asked. Then chuckled at Sean's statement, "Fire away on the questions" he joked back.

Sean chuckled. "But yea. I've met the power mastery teacher, the Drama Club teacher, and the Math teacher. Though I've mostly been meeting students so far."

"Cool, I can't wait to be separated into the real dorms!" he laughed happily.

"Yea, me to!" Sean exclaimed. "I was hoping that when I take 'The Test'. I get into the spring group. Honestly, It's my favorite season. The rain and dewey damp weather refreshes my soul. Also, I fit the discription for the Spring group perfectly!" Sean said nearly in a rush.

"Nice, but I'm wanting to get into the Summer group, it's also my favorite season with no school, the hot weather, especially the swimming" he said. But then said "But spring is cool to, with the rain and trees blooming again."

"Yea summer is pretty cool too. I'm a Huge fan of swimming. But I think I'll stay with Spring." Sean said with a slight chuckle.

"Yeah...hey, I'm going to the initiate dorms, can you show me where they are?" he asked standing up.
