The Ghost's Festival [OPEN] [SITE EVENT] Empty
PostSubject: The Ghost's Festival [OPEN] [SITE EVENT]   The Ghost's Festival [OPEN] [SITE EVENT] EmptySat Oct 18, 2014 1:28 am

She was preceded by the smell of sulfur and the squeak of sneakers against tile. Her footsteps rung throughout the hall. Empty. Dark. Blue sparks danced across her fingers, lighting the way. As always, she was scowling. The difference was that today she had a reason for it.

"sorrii ur b-day present is so late!!! >o< promise to wear it, k? u said that u'd dress up for me this year!!!

ur to hard to shop for!!!

- lain"

Kayla had said that she didn't want anything for her birthday, and for good reason, but she supposed something like this had been inevitable. I look stupid. Her ears were crooked again. She adjusted her headband as she walked, a blush creeping across her face. I'll look even stupider when I get caught by a teacher. This is probably all just some stupid trick.

It was a cute costume idea, she guessed. A Pikachu. Electrokinesis. Clever, right? Hilarious. Absolutely hilarious.

Kayla wasn't laughing.

Red spots had been painted on her cheeks and a yellow springy tail had been pinned to the back of her skirt. The black-tipped ears were the worst. It could be worse. She could have gotten me a full costume. Mercifully, Lain had only been able to afford the tail and ears with whatever meager savings she'd built up. That should've made her feel thankful, but it only made her feel guilty. Kayla wore a yellow jacket over her shirt to make up for it.

She reached into her pocket and dug out a crumpled white card. One moment, maybe a week ago, she'd just been walking through the courtyard, and the next she'd found it placed between her fingers. It was a plain thing, with no art or fancy fonts. Just a warning and a promise.

"DON'T SNITCH OR ELSE."

Yikes. Eerie, to say the least. Just about everyone in the school had gotten one if that wasn't enough. It only got worse when someone inevitably tried to turn their card in to a teacher. They were just running around the corner, waving the card in the air, and the next they were just gone. Vanished. A Guardian had found the girl later, unconscious in the broom closet, with a mop bucket stuck on over her head. Whoever, or whatever, had passed out these cards took their Halloween parties seriously.

Then there was that other part...

"DON'T WORRY ABOUT GUARDIANS."

It was well past curfew now, and Classroom Block 5 was strictly off-limits. Kayla hadn't caught sight or sound of any teachers or Guardians, even though they should have been patrolling the grounds by now. She wasn't sure if that made her feel relieved or unnerved.

Every door was open already, but there was only darkness inside. There was no sight or sound of any other living souls. I must be early. She glanced down to check her wrist only to remember she didn't have a watch. Watches never quite seemed to work around her. Kayla kept walking, the only sounds being the faint zap of sparks and the echo of her own footsteps. Then there was a voice, bright and chipper. A young girl's. The lights flicked on and Kayla whirled, her heart leaping in her chest.

The girl was smirking at her from inside one of the classrooms. She was sitting cross-legged on the teacher's desks, swinging her feet. Her dirty blonde hair was tied into a side-ponytail. Kayla froze. She couldn't have been older than twelve.

She cocked her head. "Yo," she said with a wink. "You showed up for my party."

"Your party?" Kayla snapped her head around, to the rows and rows of abandoned classrooms. With the lights on it was easy to tell the place had been recently dusted. She turned to face the girl again, sparks popping around her head as electricity flared down her arms. "How old are you? Like, nine? What the hell is this? Who are you? Are you even old enough to go here?"

That smirk didn't fade. "My name's Addison," she said. "And you're one to judge. You look like a ten year old boy. Of course this is my party, you god damn idiot." Addison giggled.

Kayla's arm instinctively flew to cover her chest. "Are you looking to get fried, you little brat?" she flared. Literally. Lightning rippled down her sleeve, turning from blue to white. She stepped inside, then stopped. The room was packed with cases of alcohol. The electricity surrounding her seemed to sputter and dim a little. "W-what? Where did you get all of that?"

"A generous man in town donated them to me," Addison explained with another giggle. She looked a little too proud of herself. "It says 'party goods' right there on the card, you zapping mongoloid. Can't you read?"

She resisted the urge to punch the girl in her smug little face. "A little paralysis would teach you not to pick on girls bigger than you," Kayla growled.

"Not bigger where it counts."

Kayla's arm flew over her chest again. Addison cut in before she could retort.

"At least you blush like a girl." Kayla took three steps forward and threw out a fist, but she only hit empty air. The girl was gone, vanished into nothing, as if she hadn't been there at all. "Over here!~" Addison called in a sing-song voice. Kayla whirled around, and there she was, sitting on a student's desk with a beer in her hand. "You hit like a girl too." She pulled at the can's tab, but the beer refused to open. She held it out to her. "Can you open this?"

"W-what?" She was as incredulous as she was furious. Her hand shot out to wrench it from her hand, but Addison jerked it out of reach. "You're too young for that! Hand that over, you little twerp!"

"Eh? Buzzkill." Addison leaned back and pulled at the tab again, gritting her teeth. Kayla could have exploded. "Do you know what kinda party this is? There's cigarettes, weed, these..." The girl reached into her vest pocket to pull out a square silver wrapper, waving it casually around.

Mortified, Kayla snatched it out of her hand. "W-what the hell are you doing with this?!" Kayla demanded, holding it as if it was toxic. Addison only giggled.

"What are you worrying about?" she asked, once her laugh subsided. "And you were acting like I'm the kid. No one's gonna catch ya here, goody two shoes. Adults will be busy outside the gates tonight."

"You're eleven!" Kayla fussed. She made another grab for the beer, but it was as if Addison teleported a foot to her left. She only gripped empty air. "Stop that!"

"Twelve," she corrected, not even looking up at her. Her eyes were only for the can in her hand. "You're acting like you're my mom. Loosen up a little, will ya? Whole school's going to be rule-free for the next twenty-four hours. Have one of the brownies or something."

Kayla was seething. "And how can you be sure of that?"

Addison winked. "I made sure. And now I gotta go. Don't ruin this for the other people when they get here, or you'll be sorry. Toodaloo!"

And then she was gone, disappeared into thin air without a trace. When Kayla looked down, the unopened beer had been put into her hand. The condom was still clutched in the other. A spark cracked off by her head as she stared down at both of them.

As if on cue, the intercom crackled to life, and music began to filter in through the speakers. Footsteps filled the hall. It was starting.

The Ghost's Festival [OPEN] [SITE EVENT] Empty
PostSubject: Re: The Ghost's Festival [OPEN] [SITE EVENT]   The Ghost's Festival [OPEN] [SITE EVENT] EmptySat Oct 18, 2014 6:02 am

[[Her Costume]]

Let's just say it's a pain in the ass to determine whether or not to come in a costume when your trying to stay awake at 3 AM that previous day. But with what she could muster, it had turned out to be a shiny Umbreon. Why? Well, let's just say it was a good idea at the time. Really though, it was pretty damn comfortable... So that's why she had just given up and gone with it. But it had taken awhile for her to use the infamous hair spray paint (That washes out, mind you.) to color her hair black, and even though it took some degree of devotion it looked pretty good.

So, walking down the halls with the appearance of an Umbreon was pretty weird. There were very weird costumes otherwise, but it was probably embarrassing to everyone to come dressed as something unusual. Her card she had gotten helped with where she needed to go, she watched the others move confusedly to place to place. Idiots, move with the crowd. Rolling her eyes, she proceeded into the room where everything was supposed to be. Well, it looked like she was the only one there besides maybe a few others. Great, it would've been nice to come into some crowd so she didn't feel so weird, right?

With some degree of hope, her mind asked for much more people to barge in at any moment. Pin-pointing the only other one there, she thought she might as well socialize. "Well, it looks like I'm not the only one who decided to go as a Pokemon." She had easily recognized it was Pikachu, and a small smile curved on her lips. She had a pretty damn good knowledge of the characters, being that she had inherited a copy of Pokemon as well as an age-old 3DS from his time. So her free-time consisted of late-night game playing, and she had grown to love the game.

Something was off here though, she could smell it. Oh, right... Beer, liquor... This would be surely interesting. Did they have Corona? Wait, why would she even be mentioning trying to scope out a brand? Well, let's just say she would always sneak it from her mom at times. Small amounts though, and possibly even more to get some sleep. Either way, it would be really fun... Yet she was still puzzled how in this wacky world how so much alcohol was smuggled... At least the teachers weren't around to see the developing addictions of the school, right? Hopefully. It would be a living hell for them to all of a sudden crash it, but Kiersta had to trust that the note was right, about not having to worry.

PostSubject: Re: The Ghost's Festival [OPEN] [SITE EVENT]   The Ghost's Festival [OPEN] [SITE EVENT] EmptySat Oct 18, 2014 7:31 am

A girl sauntered into the room looking haughty. She was wearing a very short black miniskirt and bikini top. A long, fluffy tail was attached to her skirt, and she waved it around. Her lashes were thick and voluminous. Her eyelids were brushed with black eyeshadow, giving her a feral look. On her eyes were contacts, causing her black eyes to look bright green. She had black lipstick on, coating her soft lips. A smile grew on her face as she spotted all of the drinks and cigarrets. She purred and stalked to a table, pulling her knees up to her face. She played with her spiked choker and drew a gloved hand over her cat-ears. Her face curved up into a grin and her painted whiskers twitched.

A girl trotted in, her purple hair shining in the dim light. Her legs were covered in striped purple stockings. Her silky black dress fell to her mid-thighs. She had purple eyeshadow, lipstick, and a black witch's hat. Her black gloves had claws on them. Spectra had brought a black broom with bright green, purple, orange, and black bristles. She cackled evilly, laughing inside at the way her evil laugh sounded.

Looking around, Toralei smirked as she spotted a fellow Autumn girl. "Hey, Spectra! Loosen up, have some fun! It's Halloween, for God's sake!" she laughed. Spectra growled, but put a very fake smile on. She raised her eyebrows and pulled her friend toward the beer. "Here. Drink some of this." She shoved a bottle of tequila into the purple-haired girl's hand and chose a margarita for herself. Taking a sip of it, she grinned and released Spectra. Toralei threw her head back and downed the rest of the drink. "Damn..." she mumbled, shaking her head. Grinning and shrugging, she took another and went back to her table.

Spectra glared at the drink, then unwillingly sipped some. Surprisingly, it tasted good.

OOC: Couldn't figure out to type for Spectra's part lol

PostSubject: Re: The Ghost's Festival [OPEN] [SITE EVENT]   The Ghost's Festival [OPEN] [SITE EVENT] EmptySat Oct 18, 2014 10:26 am

ooc;; i have too many charrieessd ;_;. bic;;

All things considering, he was surprised that he'd gotten an invitation at all, being so close to the nurse and the headmaster and everything. At the end of the day, he supposed that didn't matter much when whoever was running his thing had the skills of a ninja in taking the snitches out and a way to throw all the adults out for the night.
He was surprised there weren't more people there yet. Jason was dressed in a dark blue uniform, adorned with metal badges and a thick belt, a at tilted on his head. He thought he made a damned fine "Officer Friendly", and the few looks he got on the way there only seemed to confirm that.
Cute girls, he noticed with a smirk - gaze lingering a moment, lots of different treats, and tons of refreshments...
He approached the table, a tall glass bottle that looked familiar catching his eye. Not bothering with a glass, he grabbed it, twisting off the cap and bringing it to his lips.
Still tasted God-awful.

Alicia wasn't exactly one for big parties, but with the campus cleared for the night, she figured she might as well check it out. Long, silky white fabric draped over her, gold rings and leaflets shining in the pale evening light. It wasn't the fanciest costume, but she thought she looked alright.

Clad in a small, red dress that clung tightly to her curves, she prayed she wasn't the only one who went all out in her costume. Red stockings that went up to her thighs and three inch heels, and a set of devilish horns and tail to match. The Spring had dressed so conservatively at the dance. She wanted to get out of her comfort zone.
And so Brailynn did, walking in and taking a look around, she instantly grabbed herself a beer and settled in.

The costume of the Winter's was carefully planned, an intricate replica of an old outfit, specked with dirt and coal-dust. His black hair had temporarily been dyed a warm blonde, his mechanical leg showing, and fresh loaf of bread wrapped in his hands. He didn't plan on doing much, though, someone had tried to put a drink in his hand.

Preston, out of all of them, seemed the most excited. It was about time they had some real fun around here, right? Although he felt pretty damn stupid in his costume - large ears and a tail, a dark yellow and brown outfit, he was a Raichu - he convinced himself it'd still be a great night.
He'd went straight for the beer, grabbing one and chugging it half down before spotting other pokemon in the middle of the room. Time to make friends?
"Hello there, ladies." He walked over with a confidant smile. "Kayla, nice outfit." Pres mused playfully, wondering what the odds were. "Even if you stole my idea." He took another sip of his drink, glancing over at the shiny Umbreon. "And what might your name be?"

PostSubject: Re: The Ghost's Festival [OPEN] [SITE EVENT]   The Ghost's Festival [OPEN] [SITE EVENT] EmptySat Oct 18, 2014 10:34 am

Silly. Stupid...Why had she done this? A cape swished around her as she walked down the hall, only pausing to mess with the fake, pointy teeth in her mouth. Anahira muttered to herself as she grabbed her cloak and pulled it close around her. This felt wrong, being awake right now. They could get into so much trouble if...The door to the room was pushed open as Anahira walked in, blinking as she saw that a few other people had already arrive. The first thing that really caught her mind was the drinks...Was that...Beer? She slowly took a step forward, her cape swishing slightly. The cape itself was pure black on the outside, but the inside was a stunning red. There was two small cuts in the cape; letting her bat wings stick out of it, but they were resting, folded, on her back. She was a vampire; bearing her fake teeth slightly as she stared at the things that filled the room. All of it...She was unsure how she felt about it. Drugs...Beer...She wanted to just turn around and walk out but...No, she would stay. Although with a small flicker of her eyes she strictly told herself she was going to have none of it.

-----

The door opened as Brant came inside, pausing to glance around at the other students. He now felt out of place, as he for one was not dressed up in a costume of any sort. He had been unsure of what he wanted to be dressed up as so he had simply decided not to go as anything. Maybe...Uh, there were tales of dragons taking the forms of humans? There were at least some sort of story or legend about that right? He blinked slightly. Maybe it was from a old game? He wasn't sure...Yeah, that was it. He was a dragon in the shape of a human. He could breath fire on anyone who didn't agree with him. He chuckled softly like that as he strolled across the room. He paused when he saw...Beer? He recalled his father drinking beer during sports game when Brant had been little, but as Brant had started to grow older he had started to drink it less or less. He glanced around at the other students; some which were drinking the beer and others. He gently picked up the bottom, frowning as it chilled his hands. He...He couldn't right? No one here was old enough but that didn't spot others...No. He shook his head as he placed it back down as he turned his back on it. He was better than that. Besides, what would Destiny think of him if had some? His gaze suddenly lit up as he scanned the room again. Maybe Destiny would come to the party! He hadn't seen much of her, which pained him. But maybe they could catch up a bit...He wondered if she would dress up. Heh, maybe she would go as the Grim Reaper. It would be fitting, and he was sure she would be a rather cute one.

-------

The door creaked open as Roxie stepped inside. She shook her head as she strolled in, only to pause to glance at the other students. When she saw the beer, her first reaction was to swipe it up. Roxie wasn't in a costume; feeling like this was a stupid holiday and would rather be hanging out alone then going around and getting candy from others. But this party? Her eyes flickered as she turned and look at the other students; some which were drinking, some which were not. A party that was illegal, which beers...Drugs...Condoms? Her eyes remained on the condoms as she gave it an odd look before she turned her attention away from it and onto her drinks. Yeah...Uh...She wasn't going that far. She opened up the beer and took a sip from it, smiling softly. You think she would of learned from her days of hanging with a wrong crowd; something which had gotten her in deep trouble but...She did miss the days of drinking beer...She wasn't planning to do anything else, but the beer was something she welcomed happily.

Occ: These are all of my characters that are coming to the party. The rest of them are goody-two-shoes and decided not to go. I figured trying to post with six characters would be a bit to much anyways.

Dylan walked into the party with a sigh. The young winter hadn't wanted to come. However, he had nothing else to do so he just came. He was dressed up as an Orc from Lord of the Rings. He was regretting the idea of coming now that he saw the alcohol. Promising to himself that he wouldn't touch a drink he wandered though the party. He saw pokemon, witches, even a guy dressed as a police officer. As Dylan walked though the room, he prayed that no one called him over.

It hadn't occurred to Keirsta that her costume showed off her curves, but she didn't acre by the time she had slipped away really fast to grab a bottle of her precious Corona. It only took a quick push of her thumb to release the pressure of the bottle and allow her to drink her way happy. Having returned, a small smile formed when she saw someone dressed up as a Raichu. Who, sure enough, walked over. "It's Keirsta." Her temptation to add a comment about how he didn't seem to remember her from hanging around his brother Dublin so much almost got the best of her, but she was happy to have her booze and to party.

The heeled black shoes she wore added to her already tall stature, and even without the heels it was obvious she was a good few inches taller than the young man. A song was being hummed in her mind, as there were always songs in her head. The moon being out gave her a burst to her energy, her gift was keeping her fueled with it. She knew after tonight, she'd be out stone cold for sure. What'd be surprising is if she didn't sleep, but rather still be awake. Her eyes scanned one of the tables, and at the sight of the condoms she just wanted to barf. She hoped that no one would be doing the horizontal monster-mash tonight, especially if they were high. Last thing that the school needed in her mind was pregnant teens because people had been intoxicated and getting frisky. Well, that's how she was born, rather.

As others filed in, she grew curious about what others came in as. Some, none. Oh well, right? The invitations said so, but then again, who the hell was the person who provided the booze? That spiked her curiosity even more, evidently it was going to be a night of fucked up nonsense. Well, that was something that made it worth coming for, she guessed. "Anyways... Let me guess. Electric gifts? My muse for my costume came from my love of Umbreon, and my gift. It's just a wild guess for you guys, though." Her voice projected to both the Pichu line people, another gulp of the beer going down her throat.

He didn't put any effort into his halloween coustume, all that he wore was some a black sweater and some slacks. He wasn't even sure what he was so he just decided to carry a huge ass plastic repleica of a axe.

Jordan shrugged when he looked at himself in the mirrior.Since when do i dress up in the first place. He scoffed to himself, slightly adjusted his hair and walked off towards the party in hopes that he could make fun of people that wore the stupidest coustumes. Once he got their, their wasn't much people at least four or five other students but at first glances he could tell the people that we're dressed up we're all Pokemon freaks.

Though he couldn't care less, the only reason the guy really came was to get drunk and make fun of people who dressed themselfs up as five year olds. A smirk appeared on his face and he silently walked past the mingling people and sat himself down in a seat. His hands fidgeted around the fake blade of his prop and didn't bother to look up from his toy. That happened to intrest him more then the party of the centry.

Quinn sighed at the reflection, twisting and pulling her hair into a tight braid. She didn't have much of a fashion sense, thats how she ended up as a penguin for hallowen. Though the idea did seem pretty cute, Quinn wasn't just completely convinced she had hoped that people would wear outfits that made her's seem not so well stupid.

The beak of a coustume covered her eyes, making her look pretty stupid but oh well. Quinn slipped on a bag over her shoulders and headed out the doors and sliently walked byherself through the hallways to the place of the party. Too bad that she didn't know anyone, and no one would know her because she was new to the school. She expected to be the biggest loser and loner in the academy, she expected that no one would even know her name, but she wanted to at least meet people. She stood by the door eyeing everyone who came into the party, so far she didn't think that she looked stupid compared to what others were wearing.

As the room began to fill, Kayla's head shot up, suddenly alert. The condom she tossed aside, hoping that no one saw her holding it. The beer she pulled close to her stomach, almost protectively. She didn't make any move to open it yet. Before long, the room was full with people, all chattering and drinking and God knows what else. The music flooding in from the intercom was giving her a headache. What the hell am I doing here?

"Kayla, nice outfit."

She turned around, blinking in surprise, but he was already chatting up the girl nearby. Kayla hardly heard her. Sparks crackled in the air around her head when she registered what he was wearing. "Ehh?" she half-groaned, exasperation entering her voice. The Autumn jabbed a sparking finger into his chest. "I'm not the copy-cat here. Just stealing my look's not going to make you as cool as me, y'know." Her tone was only half-teasing. She turned aside, cracked open the beer with a tug of her fingers, and brought it to her lips. The bitter taste made her screw up her face. How can people drink this shit? For a moment she thought back to home and a fridge stuffed full of cans, but the thought was drowned out with another swig. She didn't even bother answering the Keirsta girl. "People are gonna think we did this on purpose now."

She was already three quarters through her bottle. Parties weren't for her, but this made it worth it. Well, that and Jace in a cop outfit. Girls were giving him attention, and for an obvious reason. Evelyn drowned out that pang of jealousy with another swig of alcohol.

Music. People. Already the party seemed to be in full swing. Too loud. Another gulp. It'd be quieter back at her dorm now, but hell if she was going to pass up this chance to drink all she could. Beer for minors was expensive, and if someone had somehow gotten all of this and was giving it away for free, then she had no choice but to make the most of it. Some days it felt like she was more drunk than sober now. Half her English periods were spent hungover, but mercifully, no one seemed to notice. Another gulp. Another. Another. When she'd brought the bottle back to her lips again, Evelyn found it empty. With an exasperated sigh she set it aside and pulled a random can from a random desk and cracked it open with a sharp pull of her fingers, not even looking at the label. Beer was beer.

Nearly everyone else seemed to have dressed up. Why they'd even bother was a mystery to her. What was the point, out here in the middle of nowhere? Seeing all the costumes filled her with an odd sadness, but with another drink it was gone. I'm too old for Halloween now.

Toralei's cat-ears almost seemed to perk as she looked around and saw a Winter standing alone. She stood up and trotted over to him, smiling slightly. "Hey, Dylan!" she purred. "Nice costume!" She plucked at the fingers of her gloves, making it look as if she had claws.

Spectra sat on a desk and tilted her head, a smile curving up her lips as she watched Toralei. The girl downed her Tequila and continued watching the older teen. The cat was stalking toward 'her prey'.... Standing up, she shook her head and trotted toward another Autumn. She didn't know him, but she thought his name was what...Jason? She kept moving anyway. When she arrived, she smiled. "Hi!" she offered, not really knowing what to say. Walking past him, she grabbed a bottle of Brandy. Pouring herself a glass, she leaned against a desk and took a sip.

"Hello Toralei," Dylan said glancing at the cat-girl. He sighed. He had hoped no one had approached him, but trying to lay low at a party was impossible."How are you?" He asked hoping that the topic of drinks weren't going to come up.

Dressing up was always one of Carrie's strong points. She enjoyed the last-minute makeup check-up in case there was any black eyeliner smudged or lipstick on the teeth. This time, the tall dark-haired girl had stuck with the slut look and was wearing an incredibly high mini-skirt, a corset which pushed her breasts up and a dark strappy top. On her feet she wore hard-to-walk-in heels, now normally girls would stumble a lot, but being someone who wore heels on a daily basis Carrie had mastered the art of walking in 6-inch killer heels. Not only did she wear heeled shoes every day, the teenager also wore plenty of makeup. This evening, her look consisted of black eyeliner giving her dark blue eyes a cat-like effect, bright red lips and curved eyebrows. She also had drawn on a black circle on her nose and three whiskers either side. Quite a coincidence being that her OTP drew cat whiskers on their faces whenever they filmed a Philisnotonfire collab video.

So, overall Carietta White was technically a cat, if you try and ignore the masses of cleavage that sat upon her chest and the tight mini-skirt that only covered less than a quarter of her thighs.

As the 'cat' prowled into the room, the first thing she noticed was her new friend Toralei and Dylan. Carrie strutted over to them, her scarlet lips pulled into a smirk and a glass of wine in her hand. "Hey Toraleiiiii." She slurred in a high-pitched voice. "Oh my god! You're a cat too? I love the skirt by the way."

'Oh no. This is what happens at every teen Halloween party?' were Rhett's first thoughts as he opened the door into the classroom. Not that many people would recognize him, as he was dressed as the Phantom of the Opera. The three-quarters white mask hid most of his face, only leaving his left cheek exposed. His dirty blonde hair had been dyed black and slicked against his head, a long black cape gently brushing the floor. The Spring student pushed through the already increasing amounts of people, towards the tables upon tables of (minorly) illegal substances. One bottle caught his eye, and he immediately poured himself a tall glass of red wine. Who knew they would have something so fancy here? His honey eyes gazed about at all the teenagers, some girls actually dressing up rather.. little. He averted his attention on the scarlet liquid swirling around his glass. 'Is anyone I know coming? I'm not sure how to feel on that though.'

And here comes probably one of the youngest students in the school. The last member of the McLochland family had been rather confused when a small card appeared on her nightstand, inviting her to this rather illegal party. As she had been walking down to the abandoned classroom, Amelia had spotted the types of costumes kids had decided to wear. Most had been animals, fictional or not. Well, she was adding to that number.

A long, white and gray streaked tail was attached to tight, ankle-length white leggings; a long-sleeved gray shirt with a lighter front, and small, cute ears attached to her head. Long blonde hair was dyed mostly white, with the top mostly a dark gray, matching her natural eye color. Her nails were also given a little attention, cut into a point and painted black. They would be cut the next day, do not worry. Her small face had just a bit of make-up, dusted lightly to add a grayer tone, a black nose, and small fluffy-looking 'fur' marks at the corners of her eyes. A cute little wolf, that's what she was.

At the door, Amelia could literally smell all the alcohol. It would be eight whole years until it would be legal for her to drink any of it. Shaking her head with a smile, the thirteen year old quietly opened the door, and pushed her little four foot ten self towards a shelf, to which she sat on. Only now could she see over everyone's heads. Looking down at her realistic canine tail, she made it move as if it was real, doing the same to her ears. 'I'm like a real wolf now!' she laughed silently, waving at Dylan from across the room, having met him before.

Did she know Dublin? It would be hell if he knew what his brother did in his spare time. He knew far more about Verona then he did about the "black sheep" of the family. Sure, they got along just fine, but it wasn't as if they were best buddies or anything. With another sip of his drink, he gave the Umbreon another look-around, smiling. "Name is Preston." He introduce himself back, offering a shake with his free hand. Even if she was a little taller than him, that was alright, he liked a woman with long legs. /bricked As she went on to guess their gifts, he let out a small chuckle. "Is it that obvious?" He sighed sarcastically, a few rings of sparks appearing around the can he carried, disappearing up his arm - as if to provide proof. She was right when she thought he'd hadn't a clue of what her gift could be. "A dark... type... something?" Yeah, he was pretty damn stumped.

He raised an eyebrow at Kayla as she poked his chest, paying no mind to the sharp shock that accompanied it. Preston scoffed, "I've had this thing for a week. And I thought you were too grown up for costumes." If only to mess with her, he ruffled the hair between her cute pikachu ears. Taking another drink, he shrugged at her last comment.  Well, they were both in autumn, with the same gifts, and same dorm room... "Yeah, maybe. I guess we're stuck with it." He smirked and nudged her.

Corsets and stockings, make-up and high-heels... The girls at this party really didn't leave anything spared, did they? Not that he was complaining of course, eying a few "cats" on the other side of the room with a not-so subtle smile. With another few swigs of his drink, he vaguely wondered where a certain Winter had ended up that night until someone else had walked up and grabbed at his attention.
"Hey," Jason called back, watching the girl in the silky black and purple outfit curiously as she walked around him, pouring herself a glass of brandy... A bit of a homey-evening drink for a halloween party he thought, not that it mattered. "What would your name be, Sweetie?" He shot her a smile before taking another drink.

Oh boy, a party! People had already been filing in and getting friendly when Ashleigh jogged her way over, the invitation clutched loosely in her hand. There didn't seem to be anyone watching the door, just some other students walking in, so she just slipped in with them. A lot of people were dressed up, almost like it was already Halloween or something. At least she could test out her costume: unlike some others at said party, her outfit wasn't exactly - how should someone put this - slutty. She wore a red buttoned, long-sleeved shirt with a popped-up collar and a long green skirt that passed her knees. The ensemble was completed with a pair of black boots. Nobody would get it.

She felt that this party would be awesome. After all, there was a lot of people in the building, and she had been feeling a tad lonely lately. All of her friends had been disappearing. Maybe they were ignoring her. Either way, maybe now she could make some new friends! Noticing that a lot of people were making their way into a particular classroom, she walked in after them, looking into a large classroom full of students that she barely knew from either here or there. There were costumes of various undress, and even several... really colorful animals? She scratched her cheek as she looked over them; there were a couple yellowed rodents maybe, and a cat or a... dog or something. Must be something popular that she hadn't seen yet. Wandering over to a crowded table, her eyes widened when she noticed the bottles of alcohol littering it. Oh, so this was going to be an illegal party? Sweet. She grabbed one of the unopened cans and popped its top, taking a large swig of the stuff. It was terrible. "Isn't there anything with taste on this table?" she muttered to herself, glancing over the table left and right.
