Blindly walking.

Sandosius was walking an he found himself sniffing the outside air. How did he come about this place? "Excuse me? Anyone? Where am I?" He was very confused. He sat down at his very spot and waited.

Dylan had been sitting on a bench in the courtyard when something rather odd happened. A boy had sat down a few feet from his bench and was asking where he was. Dylan said,"In the courtyard, by the entrance." Upon further study of the boy, Dylan realized that he was blind. He immediately stood next to the boy, in case he needed assistance.

Humming emitted from an orange-haired girl's mouth as she took a rather relaxing walk through the school's courtyard. In the past few weeks, doing such tranquil things had become more and more prominent in her everyday life, whereas they used to be practically unheard of to begin with.
As she continued onward, she happened to spot two boys together, one sitting and one standing, out in the open. She could not help but think that it was a little odd, but then it suddenly occurred to her that something could possibly be wrong. With a new presumption about the situation, the tall, teenage girl started to make her way towards the two, picking up her pace until she came jogging in.
"Sorry to bother you," she started, hoping to begin on good terms in case she happened to be wrong, "I was just going by and couldn't help but notice that he was on the ground. I hope that everything is okay." she explained between quick breaths.

The blind boy sensed a sudden movement on two of his sides. He swiftly stood up and pushed the boy away an hit him with a baseball sized ball of sand. He the proceded to put up a wall all around him. "WHO ARE YOU PEOPLE!" The boy screamed. He was very startled. One wrong move would have sent him over the edge.

The girl quickly went ridged and started to back away, hands raised in surrender, unknowing that the other boy could not see either of them. "H-Hey man, I'm just here to help!" she explained, trying hard to keep her voice steady, "I don't want any trouble, I'm just trying to help out!"
She gained a little more distance-- about 7 or 8 feet-- and stopped. She started to recompose herself, hoping that if she let off an aura of calm, it would help the other boy realize that they were not trying to hurt him, or whatever he assumed they were doing. On the inside, though, she remain worried and posed to take any necessary action to ensure a relatively harmless situation would unfold soon. She honestly hated having such thoughts, but she also knew that she could not just let something happen here that could be dangerous and harmful, or even start a fight.

The boy was startled. The strange vocies made him react so harshly. What had he done? Had he hirt another kid? He felt so bad. He lowerd his wall. But he trapped the girl in her place. "No offence. But I cant trust you right now." He turned to the male voice. "Who are you? And I would advise taking your hand off that surikan." Sandosius then locked the boys feet in place.

Dylan took his hand off the surikan and said,"I'm Dylan and the trust issue is mutual." Looking at the sand that covered his feet, his brain started working out possibilities on how to get out of his current predicament. It seems that sandman was much more powerful than he thought."So sandy, what's your name?"

The orange haired girl struggled lightly against the boy's offensive defense. Blind?! she thought to herself, surprised. Sure, it seemed like a fairly realistic conclusion to come to right now, but if he could not see how he could be so perceptive.
She could understand why he would believe her to be untrustworthy, besides the fact that she had startled him with her rather sudden arrival in the first place. The girl lowered her hands and forced her paranoid thoughts of violence to the back of her mind. She knew that that was probably one of the last things this boy actually wanted at the moment.
The idea of trying to speak with him entered her mind, but she quickly shot it down. After a brief analysis, she figured it would probably be best for him to travel at his own pace and she decided to give him time to acknowledge her when he saw fit.

"My name is Sandosius. My powers are as you see. Pleased to meet you Dylan. Sorry we got off on the wrong foot." Sandosius then turned into sand himself and flutterd over beside Dylan. He started smelling the new boy. "And what perhaps are your powers Dylan?"

"Well Sandosius, my power is the ability to rearrange matter to any shape as long as it retains the same mass. I just call it Equal Exchange." Dylan said. He had been a bit surprised when Sandosius had turned to sand, but he had seen weirder stuff at this school."So, are you going to talk to our other friend now or keep her in a sand tomb forever. I believe the art of mummification died a few millenniums ago."

"Ah yes. Whats your name and your powers girl? I can sense you have some color to your hair. What is it? Auburn? Or is it..... Ah. Please dont be offended. But.... Ginger? Thats pretty rare. Only happens in about 1-2% of people." He flitted over to the girl.He then extended his hand and unlocked both of the students. "My name is Sandosius. A pleasure to meet you."


OOC: Sorry Sandly got caught up in shiz. Also the flitt is when he turns into sand. This is going good guys :) Also I dont write alot of extra stuff in the mind of Sandosius because he dosent really think. He does. As you guys can see.

"Oh yes," she piped up when the boy spoke to her, "and a very rare shade of its kind." she added. She wish he could have seen how her eyes also held the same bright orange color, but, she had a feeling that he may be able to perceive it like he did her hair color.
"Hello, Sandosius. I'm Regina, Regina Froster." she introduced herself cheerfully, hoping to make a better impression on him than she had before.

OOC: Yeah it's fine. As you can tell by this super late post, I have too! XD But, yes, I think this is going well! ^.^

He awaited the girls warm embrace. "Are you going to shake my hand or am I going to sit here like an idiot?" He chuckled. He had never made jokes before. But he knew that these people wouldn't try anything. They seemed nice so he let his guard down. "You! Boy! Come come. Lets all get aquainted!"
