Trying to keep track of how much I abused my character.
So I don't forget:
1. Three broken toes on left foot. Index, middle, ring. Need to be splinted and buddy-taped, might require a medical boot? Six weeks or less to heal, probably.
Note: If my paltry Google research is right, you
can stand and walk around with broken toes. It just hurts like a bitch. I was thinking she was going to need a crutch, but I guess not.
2. Fractured right wrist. Will need a cast or splint. Due to youth, health, impatience, and Pikachuness (electric currents help in healing apparently), her wrist will probably be out of the splint in six weeks or less.
3. Two fractured ribs on the left side of her body. Four to six weeks to heal. As far as I can tell, she doesn't really need anything special, but it hurts like a motherfucker. Don't die while coughing, dope yourself on painkillers, and don't suffer from any complications, I guess.
4. Severe abdominal bruising and some internal bleeding. The internet is not being cooperative, so I'll just say that it's not serious enough for surgery and the internal bleeding will resolve on its own.
5. Gunshot to the right shoulder, because all those broken bones weren't enough. Clean shot right through. No bones or major blood vessels hit 'cause I don't want her to die or get serious lifelong damage in her arm. Surgery to remove bullet and clean wound. Five stitches for entry wound, six for exit wound. Arm kept in sling for around three months or less.
Note: Obviously bullet wounds aren't anything to play around with, so I have a headcanon explanation as to why she isn't fuckin' dead yet. Just in case you're raising an eyebrow at this. ;_;
6. Lots of minor cuts and bruises from bouncing and rolling along a concrete floor covered in broken glass like a merry little log. Bandaged up for a little over a week after getting discharged from the infirmary. On that note, for all these injuries put together, we can say that she was in the infirmary for about a week before she's allowed to escape back into the wild.
7. Thinking about having Soul kick Kayla in the face and give her a black eye, just for good measure. Should fade within a couple days of her infirmary stay.
Orrr I could break her nose, but I think this girl might've suffered enough by now.

Broken nose would heal in 2 weeks or less, and if it's crooked, then she gets to wear a funny nose splint. Maybe I'll do both. Eheheheehehe...
P.S. Fuck most medical websites, especially MayoClinic. Why do you have to spread 500 words out over fifteen fucking pages like it's a slideshow? Eat shit.
