Preston's supposed to be a complete bastard to everyone but he seems to be a bit too nice to miss Taimi to be classified as that asshole-y bastard no one likes.

Preston broke Taimi's heart by totally avoiding her on Valentine's day. She's now got a good reason for her hurt wrists.

There is a girl that supposedly applied to the school that's ridiculously powerful. A volunteer student ran her papers, she's on par with some teachers, apparently! Maybe that last part is a bit exaggerated. Maybe it's not exaggerated enough!
