I don't understand weaboo language either.

Hamlet is one of his best plays too. And that's saying a lot, considering he's the greatest playwright to ever live.

It's not like it's written in a foreign language. You can read it without any help or translation if you try. And once you learn how to do that, you can appreciate him for how absolutely fucking fantastic he is and oh god shAKESPEARE-SAMAA

It's not really that - I just have a hard time deciphering all the figurative language, and I admittedly have read the plays a couple times already. I just see a bunch of metaphors and phrases that make it harder for me to tell what's going on. If I took it apart one by one, I could decently read it, but that takes a long time. x-x;;

Imagine being in the sixth grade and only having two weeks to read the plays, and do a project that's worth a large amount of your grade.... For just about all that you can cram into a school year.

Sorry Sleepy, but when you're forced into his works... You have a slight hatred.


Not that they're bad though... The Two Gentleman of Verona was actually pretty good.

I had to go see the play itself, well, all of them I've had to go see, but out of them all that's my favorite.


So yeah. Hate Shakespeare, but at the same time The Two Gentleman of Verona rubbed off on me.


And I just realized I spent 15 minutes going through every play Shakespeare wrote to find the name of that play. Good job me.
