The action of missing a shot can only be achieved by taking a shot. Let's see you take 100 shots, and you make 50 of them. You made 50/100, therefore you made 50% of the shots you took. But let's say you took no shots. You made 0/0 shots, therefore you get an error. So realistically, you can't miss a shot you don't take, because the only way to miss a shot is to take it. Ergo, you can't fail if you don't try. So don't try, kids.

Better to try and fail then to never try at all without knowing whether you'll succeed or not.
