What a pleasant day to be outside in the sunshine. There were few clouds, and it was a nice even temperature; not too hot and definitely not too cold. It was quiet so far in the courtyard, and Ken had come out to get some sun while catching up on a book he had checked out from the school's admirable library. He always found a peaceful change of pace to be a nice thing to try every now and then.
It was then that he heard some yelling nearby, and two boys came running into the courtyard arguing over what seemed to be one of their phones.
The Autumn blinked in surprise at the sudden interruption, glancing up at the two brothers before huffing in amusement. He had a little sister, and although they never physically fought like brothers often do, they did argue from time to time. Unfortunately he always seemed to lose. Shrugging the thought off, he adjusted his reading glasses before reading on in his book.
"Ow-!" Something hard knocked him in the head. Ken dropped his book, holding his forehead in one hand. What the fuck...? He looked around for his book, quickly spotting it on the ground, dirtied now, lying next to something else: a phone. The same one those two had been arguing over. With a sigh, he picked up his book and then the phone, examining it. He supposed he couldn't be too mad; the screen was cracked slightly, and with how expensive phone repairs can be nowadays, they would learn their lesson come time to pay the bill. So for now, he simply got up, holding his book under his arm and the phone in his opposite hand, and walked over to greet the two 'assailants'.
"I believe you dropped this..." He interrupted, holding up the phone. "...On my head." Ken handed it to them before folding his glasses back and clipping them to his shirt, looking unamused but not necessarily angry either. There was a slowly darkening spot on his forehead, revealing that the impact would leave a bruise.
