- As part of a field trip and academic evaluation, students will be free to go on a week-long unsupervised camping trip.
- They will be camping out in remote North American wilderness in groups of two to five people (you can choose your group partners).
- They will not be permitted to bring their own camping supplies or electronics; students will only be allowed to bring personal jewelry and a few spare changes of clothing.
- Groups will be supplied with a lighter, a hatchet, a knife, a canvas tarp, backpacks, blankets, and tin mugs. Nothing else.
- Students must live off the land until the end of the trip. Each group will be separated by some distance from the others.
- Night after night, you begin to realize there might be something else in these woods...
