Round 1: Aspen Reyes vs. Louis Tomlin

The damp scent of a bog drifted up the British boy's nose as he sank ankle-deep in mud. "What on earth?" Louis managed to step out of the pool of mud he had been in and look around. The area seemed pretty flat. He had no idea what his opponent's gift was, which came to a real handicap to Louis. His free hand reached up to his neck before he remembered that he had taken off his necklace so that Aspen wouldn't know which of him was the real one.

The initiate had somehow managed to keep his power under control. It took a lot of his energy, but he knew he could do it. His sword was gripped in his hand. Louis was a pretty good sword fighter, and with his clones, there would be one or two more sword fighters. Maybe he had found a little too much confidence in himself, but he believed he could win.

Ic; So today was the day. She never enjoyed fighting it was to much work and cloning herself drained her energy out rather quickly it was such a drag. Her light purple gaze scanned the arena it was a bit disturbing she didn't enjoy getting dirty such a drag this was. Although she did have a plan in mind, stratgeys were important in battle after all.

Flipping her hair backwards Aspens gaze narrowed, she had no idea who this Louis character was but that didn't matter much she would just have to find out what his gift was for herself - such a drag. The blonde had two pouches tied around her waist, and in them where her weapons, two knives.

They weren't much but who cares she found them easy to carry around and quite effective. Her eyebrows slightly raised when a frog had leaped past her a simple smirk formed on her features, this battle was going to be short and sweet.

A bell rang and Louis's heart thumped in his throat. It's time to fight! Louis grabbed onto his sword so hard that his knuckles turned white. He took a deep breath and let his power take control. He separated into two other Louis's, each with a sword and looking exactly like the original one. "Guys, please help me out here, I really need you," mumbled Louis to his clones. This was the first time he was going to use his power for fighting.

Louis put on a smirk on his face before running at his opponent with full speed, sword outstretched and aimed at her stomach. The two other Louis's followed next to the original, copying his move. How long will it be until they decide not to listen to me?

The single sound of a bell rang loudly in Aspens ears, time tooo gooo~ with a huff she reached for her knives pulling them out quickly and easily. Her light purple eyes blinked before narrowing, this guy.. also had the ability to form clones? It was a bit alarming at first but she quickly over came the intimidation, a small smirk appeared on her features. It sounded like this guy.. wasn't able to control his clones very well.

With a gasp Aspen lept backwards forming an 'x' symbol with her two swords. Which one was the real Louis.. the blondes eyes narrowed, no time to think she needed to react fast this guy was quick, no matter she'd take them all on easily. The initiate kicked of into the air, leaping above there heads before leaping behind them. The easiest way to do this.. was to beat them one by one - her leg went speeding off towards Louis aiming for his back, if were to fall.. he'd slip up on the mud... perfect. As her leg went speeding towards louis Aspen turned too face the other louis who didn't seem far behind. Taking her knife her arm went speeding towards the second louis, determination gleaming brightly in her eyes.

Pain seared up the clone's back as he was kicked off balanced and fell face first into the mud, sword falling from his hand. "You'll pay for that, mate," the boy said, pulling mud from his hair and pushing himself up onto his knees. He reached for his sword, grasping it with his hand and swinging violently at the girl's feet as he spun around, hoping to knock her off balance and leave cuts.

The second clone came up behind Aspen. He smiled brightly as he brought his foot up to Aspen's back. "This is payback for kicking my clone!"

Meanwhile, the real Louis was attacked by Aspen. The initiate stopped the knife with his sword and shot his free fist forward, hoping to land a punch on Aspen's face. Good, my clone is playing the real Louis...but, if they stop listening, I'll act like one of them. If I blend in, she won't know ho the real Louis is. He still didn't know Aspen's power, but part of him wished she wouldn't use it. It could be something powerful and dangerous. "Can't fight three of us at once, love," he said, a smile creeping onto his face as his British accent rang out.

His hair? Did this pretty boy care about his hygiene at the moment? Completely pathetic. At least she had caught him off guard. As he stood up, she immediately leapt backwards although her reaction was a little to slow. Aspen coughed as she tumbled into the mud, collapsing she had a bruise on her knees but nothing too bad. Her hair rose as she felt someone kick at her back, falling forwards she slowly turned her head back purple eyes full of rage and fury. "Playing dirty now are you.." The blonde had questioned with a simple smile.

Reaching her hands back to tightly grab at the clones shirt, Aspen lowered herself and brought the clone forwards.. Oh wait was this the real louis? what an idiot talking like that. The blonde slammed Louis forwards, quickly pinning him and aiming her knife towards his shoulder, with him not being able to move it should take him out rather quickly. Then bam she'd be delcared the winner since this was the real louis after all. Aspen blinked when she spotted a fist aiming for her face, leaping of Louis the blonde raced forward tackling the british to the ground. Raising her knife towards his neck, "You wanna bet?" Aspen had smirked.

She was used to fighting more then one person after all, she was like this guy. They had similar powers but hers was stronger. She believed in her abilities, and she believed that she could beat this guy. "You don't even know my gift yet.. and look at this situation." Aspen had teased him. Her sinister grin growing larger and larger.

Focus Lou! The girl had stabbed one of his clones in the shoulder and the other clone was struggling to get out of the mud. His eyes darted back to the girl. "How do you know I'm the real Louis?" he questioned. "There is still one other." he focused all his energy behind Aspen, imagining a Louis standing behind her. To his surprise, one came. This made him weaker, but he was still strong enough to fight. He had never made three clones before...this was a big accomplishment.

The new clone seemed dazed at first, not knowing what was going on. When he saw...himself...being held at knifepoint, the Louis clone ran to action. He grabbed Aspen by her collar and yanked back as hard as he could, bringing his sword up to her neck. He hoped to slice off her head.

"It's simple really, but I'm not in a mood to explain stuff to such an idiot." Aspen had smiled innocently  and shrugged like it was not a big deal, although she was a bit surprised when he mentioned another clone she thought that she had taken care of them all, but quess she was incorrect. With a gasp the blonde struggled in the clones grip, terrified of the knife that was held to her neck, was he really gonna kill her? Was he insane?? Taking a look around her surroundings, there was no where to really hide in such a place. Her purple eyes scanned the arena again stopping when she spotted a pool.. she simply grinned. Perfect.

Kicking the clone in the balls and sinking her teeth right into the clones hand, she was able to break his grip and she quickly went towards the pools, it was a perfect place to trick him. He would never see her master plan.

The clone sunk to his knees as he was kicked in his nuts and bitten. "You arsehole," he shouted as she ran away. In anger, he managed to get up and chase after the girl. He was angry, and not going to listen to the real Louis. He was blinded by malice. "What, are you scared of me? Is that why you are running away, Wanker?"

The real Louis sucked in breaths, wheezing. The energy was being drained from him. He felt light-headed but managed to regain himself. He needed a plan and fast. He looked behind him where one of his clones was bleeding to death on the ground, and the other was standing up but all muddy. He walked over to the muddy clone and whispered his plan into his ear. Hopefully this will work...

The muddy clone listened as he was told the plan. The only way for the clones to disappear was to either be killed or do it themselves. This clone was angry at Aspen and needed to get pay back. He smiled as he was given the real Louis's sword so he had two. This was part of the plan. This will be fun.


After the real Louis gave his clone his sword, he grabbed the dying clone's sword and ran until he was a good enough distance away from the battle. He could still see them and wasn't far enough away to become weak because if he was too far from his clones, that would happen.

She could see it now, not to far away. This would be a useful hiding spot, unlike the clones Aspen barely had a scratch on her and if she was correct then Louis should be drained out of his energy, poor little boy. Aspen glanced behind her only to see a Louis chasing after her, she sighed with irritation these clones were annoying but how would she deal with them? She didn't want to answer his questions they were irritating and stupid, people always seem to get dramatic over these things how childish.

Her gaze went back over towards the pool of water, she'd be able to lose him there she trained under water because of her mother. Aspen's pace quickened her plan was almost complete, and by the looks of it there were more clones chasing after her, perfect.

Now it had been easier to spot the real Louis, none of the other clones were tired as he was. As soon as he summoned the other clone, the battle was won. He was a fool of reaching his limit, he can't fight if he didn't have energy in him. Lucky for Aspen was that she was able to summon at least 10 clones without reaching her limit, no her limit was around 11 clones if she surpassed her limit she would surely die.

Diving into the pool, the water was dirty enough for people not being able to see through it. It was perfect, everything was perfect. A small grin formed on the blondes face, as she summoned a clone. As her clone would be hiding she'd simply be hiding and waiting for Louis's energy to drain out more.

The clone running at Aspen didn't hesitate to jump into the pool. The clone duplicated himself, draining more energy from the original Louis. The two lunged at the girl with swords outstretched.

The clone with two swords duplicated himself also. Louis's power was out of control...this wasn't part of the plan.

A yell of pain came from the real Louis as he fell to his knees. There were too many of him. He bent over as if he were going to throw up. This was not part of his plan at all. Too many clones! The stupid arses won't listen! "Stop the fight," he yelled, getting weaker.
