Hey look, Evelyn! Wait what?

Evelyn nodded, smiling. "That's... c-cool." The word felt alien and foreign on her tongue. She was never the kind of girl to say things like that, but Evelyn felt if she had said something like "neat" it would have seemed insulting. Still, she hoped that her pause and trouble with the word didn't come off as insulting. Evelyn's face brightened a bit. "Does that mean you can... see me normally...?"

Here she was, thinking that no one would be able to look at her without their eyes straining... happiness leaped up in Evelyn's chest, and she felt like she could jump for joy. Maybe Kimply didn't realize it, but this revelation meant a lot.

Kimply shrugged. "Thanks. I don't think it is, but I could totally be a like a spy or a assassin or something. Which is cool." She laughed lightly, catching the joy in Evelyn's expression. Smiling softly, she shoved her hands into her pockets. "Well, earlier you kinda flickered- creepy stuff, I thought you were a ghost- but other than that, I never would have known you were invisible." She winked. "So I guess we're destined to be best friends!" She laughed warmly once more, something that she seemed to do a lot. Dimples were noticeable in her pink cheeks, and her indigo eyes were almost always bright.

Friends. Best friends. It was a nice word. It didn't even matter that she hardly knew the girl, they were going to be best friends. And they'd do best friend things. What did best friends do? She wasn't sure, but Evelyn was positive that they were fun things. She'd figure it out. Evelyn nodded her head, smiling warmly.
