Who Would Win?

Jace/Montare, party scene, both inhebriated go

Montare:
- trained and OP in hand-to-hand combat.
- has a knife on him, presumably at all times.
- can turn into a full grown wolf within the space of a few seconds.
- in a crowded dorm room filled with people.

Jace:

- no weapon that I can think of, or at least not one he carries around with him.
- has to channel gift through music. At best, could put Montare to sleep.

If no one interferes, my money would be on Montare. People just don't want to pick him because they think he's creepy.

I agree with those points, but I'm just thinking about how in past topics Montare has had plenty of times to defend himself but just surrenders and runs away. Like, I agree that he definitely has the most chances to win, but I think he wants to be socially accepted so badly that he basically let's everyone walk all over him. Now, I don't believe we have seen Montare intoxicated, so it's very possible that he is different and more aggressive when he is under the influence of alcohol/drugs. I just don't really see that happening, so unless he is different drunk, I put my money on Jace.

But if he suddenly becomes this wild, aggressive beast when he is drunk, then hell yeah Montare would win. He would annihilate Jace, hands down.

I think this is dead on for Montare's character, but assuming that he's actually pushed into a fight and stands up for himself, then yeah.

Jane's weak, frail, and no good in a fight, even if she can regenerate and resurrect herself. If it was a bigger boat, they could play cat-and-mouse and Jane might be able to MacGyver something together, but I'm giving this one to Maisie. She just needs to push Jane into the ocean and sail away.
