A new face

The doors to Beata opened as a man walked in, a backpack strapped to his back and a cat in his arms. This would be Brant's first day here, and he was shocked at how big the school was. "So, I guess we are going to be living here, Kindle." The cat in his arms responded with a purr, her head resting in the bend of his arm. "Happy you like it here already..." He paused as he slowly petted Kindle; his green gaze flickering around the almost empty entrance. "Do you think we will meet anybody else?"

All of a sudden, a tall 13-year old walked in. Her black hair, long and neatly straightened, and her ice-blue eyes gave off a chilling gaze. Yet, that wasn't this girls' personality. She was kind, but her appearance betrayed that.

She looked around, uncertain. Yet calm faces reassured her, but not by much.
This girls name, was Luna Marie Barton

Belle walked aimlessly through the front yard, distracted by the comically large book she was currently reading. Her clear blue eyes darted back and forth across the pages, flipping them about every minute. Without knowing it, the brunette accidentally bumped into the new boy, knocking the book out of her hands. The 17-year old backed up slightly and looked at the ginger.

"I am sincerely sorry. Please do not think poorly of me for bumping into you." Belle apologized with a slight French accent. A blush crept up to her cheeks as she silently smacked herself for being so ignorant. Don't be so stupid next time Belle... she scolded herself.

Brant let out a small gasp as he was knocked into, a small flame escaping his mouth as Kindle suddenly leaped from his arms, her blue eyes glaring at him as he quickly scooped down to pick up the fallen book and hand it back to Belle. "Uh, it's fine. I should of been keeping an eye out." Kindle meowed from her spot on the floor, her tail thrashing as she reared onto her back legs and placed her front ones on Brant's leg as she liked being held. "Sorry, Kindle," Brant said as he picked his Ragdoll back up, who went limp in his arms.

Luna took a step back after the incident had happened. A shy, uncertain look appearing. She wouldn't be as open at the moment... Walking over, she might as well make some friends.

She wasn't sure what to say, and Luna was terrified on the inside. What if they don't like me? What if... She thought, but she had to shake the thought away. "Um... Hi..." she said, quiet enough for those to hear.

Yume was sitting on the bench, her hand on one side of the headphones on her head, eyes closed. Hearing others nearby, she nearly dropped the laptop she was holding. "Would you please quiet down over there?" she asked.
