D'angelo was out an about, doing his daily jog around the academy. It wasn't long before the clouds had turned gray and it started sprinkling. Damn it. He thought to himself. The rain getting heavier by the second. He looked around for somewhere that would keep him dry and it happened to be the studio. He quickly teleported to the front door and stood underneath it. He was just thinking about quickly teleporting to his dorm when he heard a familiar sound from inside the building. He opened the door quietly and slowly treaded inside. Following the soothing sound of his favorite piano piece. Not many knew that he was able to play the piano. He was perfectly fine with that. He always thought it made him look weak. He looked over to where the melody had rang out. It was odd because there was a girl there. Or so it seemed like it. It was as if his brain couldn't process her being there, but he knew she was there. Worse case scenario the school was haunted, but that seemed unlikely to him. He watched as she began to miss some of the notes and go of beat. The unpleasant sound finally stopped as she slammed hard on the keys, making a grand sound as it rung out until it stopped. He couldn't stare at her for too long, but it sounded like she was sad. The sniffing made it more clearer to him that that was the case.
He walked over to the piano and sat down on the bench beside her. Without even acknowledging her, he began to play from the very beginning of the piece. He only used his right hand for the beginning mainly because the girl had been slouched over the keys where his left would play. B flat, G flat, F, G flat, and so on. He tapped his foot to keep time. He closed his eyes and let the soothing music play on. Nocturne op.9 No.2, there wasn't a better melody in the world than that one. He glanced at the girl out of the corner of his eye, still playing the piece. "You know the first time I heard this, I was captivated by it. It was the most soothing sound in the world to me. Hell, it still is...So tell me. What has you so down? Music can be emotional at times I suppose."
OOC: sorry, I couldn't resist passing up such a sweet piece. Good choice by the way.
