Destiny shook her head. "Still no-t ad-dorable.." She said in a depressed tone. Sniffles and other things interrupting her voice. Some of things seemed to not be working but it actually was. It was just going to take a while for her to get back over the fence, or have one of them pull her back over the fence.. The tears continued to flow.

Since she her emotions were kind of all over the place her gift was kind of out of wack. Earlier she was controlling her gift and keeping it from doing anything but now? It was currently reaching out to Hieta and grabbed him freezing him to his spot for a moment. Since he was kind of a soul it would do that. At the same time souls were phasing in and out of being visible from her gift being on the fritz. Having an upset necromancer wasn't good. Who knows what would happen next? Dead animals could have been rising out of the ground.

"I dunno," Brant said with a soft shrug, deciding to keep going with this even if it didn't seem to be working - maybe because he had to hope it really was. It was clear that what they had been trying before wasn't working - it was only making her feel more horrible so he had to hope that his attempts to cheer her up would work. He did however become aware of the souls that were appearing, causing him to draw away from the fence a bit as he glanced around. He also spared a glance at Heita to try to see what he was doing to see him heading toward the gate. Turning back to Destiny, he gave her a small smile - even thought he was sure she couldn't see it as she was facing away from him. "I think you are still adorable. Maybe...maybe not as adorable as you are with a smile, but I don't think anything could really take away your adorableness and how much I love you."

The first thing he noticed when he tried to take a step closer to listen into the conversation more was that he couldn't move. What the hell? Hieta glanced over back towards the white-haired necromancer, and immediately noticed around him that the other spirits were constantly flickering back and forth between their plane and reality. Goddammit. Taking a deep breath, he uncomfortably tried to shift in his place, each effort as fruitless as the last. Fucking... He knew that it was because Destiny was a complete wreck right now, but being petrified was not exactly, for lack of better word, great. "Destiny, I don't think you realize how important you are to Brant. What do you think he would've done if you went through with your act?" At least he could still talk. His jaw felt stiff though, and he was sure that his voice came out rougher than normal.

Destiny just listened to the two of them not really saying much. She didn't want to say anything at the moment. She didn't know how to fix herself either.. This was really complicated.. This whole situation could take a good turn or a bad turn in a moments notice. People had to tread lightly.. And no one was going to notice her up here. At least they wouldn't be thinking she is gonna jump at the moment. They would probably think that she is just observing the setting sun. At least now she wasn't crying as much. There were still tears, and sniffles but it seemed like she was trying to stop herself from crying, and calm down. Soon her gift released Hieta. At the moment it made no attempts to regrab him or control him.

Brant couldn't help but flinch slightly when Hieta brought up about how he would feel if she had gone though it, mainly because he didn't want to think about it in the slightest and didn't want Destiny to either. He spared another glance toward Hieta before turning back to his girlfriend as she seemed to refuse to even answer, causing him to frown. He was trying to get her mind off of this, so he decided to go back to the whole 'adorable debate of 2035.' "So...Should I take your silence as you finally admitting that you are indeed adorable?"

Once he managed to unfreeze, Hieta let out a breath he didn't even realize was hitched in his throat, and to make sure he could actually move again, he tested his fingers. Pulling them into a fist and then out, he quickly shook the hand before walking over towards the couple, listening to their conversation. Was this really what they were turning to? How cute she was? To think he was once a human as well and used to think about these trivial things... None of it made sense anymore. The words were awkwardly forced from his lips, and he was only just repeating what Brant had said, "I would say that you are rather... cute." God, he really wasn't sure what the hell he was doing. But seeing as the redhead was the only other human in sight that wanted to calm Destiny down, might as well follow his lead. The words felt completely foreign on his tongue, and he was sure that it probably sounded rather ridiculous - coming from a ghost.

Destiny shook her head. "T-the silence means I-i'm disagreeing with you... Not a-adorable.. n-not cute..." Destiny said to the both of them. He progress was slow.. But at least they were getting her to say something even if it was filled with sniffles and what not..

Brant couldn't help but give Hieta the weirdest of looks when he decided to tell Destiny that she was cute. Where the hell did that come from? It was sure weird for him to say that, but he supposed he was just trying to be helpful so when Destiny started to denied her adorableness and cuteness, he turned back to her. "Must we keep disagreeing on this? You are adorable, cute, pretty, and just over-all amazing, and no matter what you say it won't change. No matter what you think - I think you are the best person in the whole world, and I couldn't standing losing you." A small chuckle almost escaped him as he gave her a sweet smile. "So why can't you see that about yourself?"

When Brant gave him an odd stare, Hieta only shrugged. He was a clueless ghost who still couldn't comprehend human emotions properly and all he was doing was trying to follow whatever the other boy said. Was that a bad idea? Oh well, he already said it and it wasn't like he could pretend that never happened. Mumbling something under his breath along the lines of 'too much exaggeration' and 'too much flattery', but that was probably what love did to people. The one thing he could never understand was how people could feel so strongly about someone that they view them as complete perfection. How did that even work? Everyone in the world is flawed, so therefore, there shouldn't be any "best person", right? Love was weird, but let's just roll with it. "He is right, you know."

The girl shook her head once again.. "I'm not perfect or cute or adorable.." She said to them. She kept trying to calm herself down.. She wasn't sniffling or crying anymore.. Well she was still sniffling slightly, but it wasn't effecting her speech anymore.. The girl sat there for a moment letting silence fall between them again. Then broke it by letting out a sigh.. Carefully the girl stood from her spot holding onto the fence for support. She took a glance at the ground again, before turning and facing the two. She studied them for a moment before gripping tightly to the fence. Carefully the girl climbed over and landed back down onto the other side. After landed she immediately fell and hugged Brant, not letting go anytime soon.

Having Hieta back him up was nice, even thought he was pretty sure he was just rolling along with it just in case it did work. Of course, when Destiny denied being perfect, cute, and adorable, Brant was ready to proclaim that she was once again but paused when Destiny stood up, his voice quickly catching in his voice. Relief filled his body when she turned toward the fence after sparing a glance at the ground and after staring at the two of them, she climbed over the fence and landed next to him. His arms had already been opened - ready to give her a hug when she hit the ground but she simply fell into them and he happily hugged her tightly back. "Please don't do anything like that again," he whispered as he held her, giving a small smile of relief toward Hieta and a small nod to show that he was thankful for his help before glancing toward his girlfriend as he hugged her - not planning to let go anytime soon as well. "I don't ever want to lose you, Destiny."

Hieta stood back, watching her crawl up the fence and over back towards safety, and he let out a small sigh. Well, that's what love did, then. Watching as the two embraced each other, he wanted to smile - honestly -, but the corners of his mouth wouldn't even twitch upwards. It would look strange to just try and fake a smile... and he was sure that ghosts that had existed for years upon years were noted to not have emotions. Unfortunately, he happened to be one of them. As much as he hated to break up this rather calming and cheerful moment, there was just one matter left at hand. "Destiny, are you having difficulties with your gift?" It was completely straight to the point and almost too direct that he wondered if he had offended either of them in their touching hug. Clearing his throat, he mumbled under his breath, "I have talked to some of the souls you have drawn here... None of them are angry at you."

Dull red eyes looked up at Hieta. "They aren't?.. and what kind of difficulties are you talking about?" She asked still keeping her depressed tone. There probably wasn't anyway Brant was going to leave her side for a while, and she didn't really care. Right now she just wanted to hide her face in Brant's chest but that wasn't going to happen. It seemed like Hieta had some business to take care of.

Brant didn't mind Hieta speaking up and thus interrupting the nice hugging as this was something that they needed to talk about. He was relieved to hear that the ghosts weren't angry at Destiny,  but he was confused by what Hieta had meant by her maybe having difficulties with her gift as well. Granted he hadn't talked or even seen Destiny for a good while up to this point so he was left in the dark. With having nothing to say, he just kept on hugging Destiny, glancing between the two as he waited for one of them to say something else. He had done his part of calming her down, now he supposed it was Hieta's turn to help.

"Why would they be? I do not understand how you came to that conclusion," Hieta replied tactlessly, his eyes just as dull as her own. He still couldn't comprehend how anyone could believe they had any sort of control over what happened with their gift if they haven't learned it, yet. He glanced over at Brant for a few moments before continuing, "Was I unclear? I was referring to your lack of control on drawing souls close to you after death." Was it that hard to get to where he was saying? Or was he just more difficult to understand because of his lack of feelings? One hand was suddenly out of his pockets, adjusting the collar of his jacket, and he cleared his throat. "Have you attempted to learn that portion of your gift?"
