The pool was large! Of course, Laden had seen plenty of large pools like this one. He even had one back home that his family used whenever they wanted to. But Lady wasn't one to ever go swimming. He was a beautiful tan color but was skinny and almost bony. No one needed or wanted to see that, so he often just never went swimming. Even if he wore a swim shirt with his trunks it would still stick in all the crevices and bony areas.
Still, the pool was fabulous. People often went there to just mess around. And this meant boys in their swimsuits. Entering the pool area he took a seat on the bleachers, a book in his hand. Pretending to read he half watched everyone play in the pool, hoping that it didn't look like he was being a creeper. Because he wasn't. He was just interested.
