He blinked. "We are, aren't we?" Luke mused softly as he looked at her as he tapped a gloved finger on his lip as he thought about it. "At least its a comforting thought to know that I am not alone in that regard. Hopefully there will be the day when we both have mastery over our gift and can use it to protect others instead of hurting them."

"Ya." She said looking over to some random flower, not really knowing what else to say. "This is nice though. Just getting to talk with someone with out stress."

His eyes flickered down to his book as he opened it back to the page he was, deciding to go back to reading but kept paying attention to what Pepper was saying. He gave her a soft nod as his eyes scanned the page, before flipping it over as he lift his gaze for a few moments to look at her. "I agree...I tend not to talk to people much, so this is very much a breath of fresh air..." he paused for a few moments before he returned to his book. "How about you? You seem like the person to have may friends here at Beata."

Pepper thought for a moment. I look like someone who has a lot of friends? Well, that's a sentimental thought. She said with a small laugh. "I thought I would, but not really. Well, I don't know." She sighed.
