For the Thrill of it [Open]

Keira was out in the court yard sitting on the bench. She was slouched back against the back of the bench, one arm was crossed over her chest, the other was out in front of her. Her hand was sort of splayed out. One her ring finger was a cut that she drew blood out of. It was one of those that shouldn't allow to heal up because it was a quick source to get blood from. Well that or she could pull her earrings out to get blood, but that was for when she did the whip thing.

She let out a sigh as she tugged the blood out of the now open cut. It slowly formed into a ball above her fingers, once she determined she reached a decent amount of blood she allowed the cut to seal up slightly. With the tiny bit of blood she had now she just moved it around or she made it change shape. Not aware of any one around her.

This world is messed up. The tall student walked around the courtyard for no reason thinking about life. A lot had been going on with the whole Gossip Girl thing and people seemed pretty pissed about it. Jake was glad he hadn't been pulled into the chaos but knew his time could be soon.

He kept walking, the frosty air nipped at his metal leg, making it stiff to walk on. He soon came across a girl playing with...blood? "Does that...hurt?" He asked tilting his head like a curious puppy as he walked up to her. His metal leg was getting even more annoying and Jake hoped he didn't looked weird walking.

'Well... This has been uneventful." This was a day that went by like any other day for Harrison, which had made him annoyed. Not wanting to be annoyed he had gone around Beata looking for something which would give a hint of excitement. Although he had been looking for a while there wasn't really anything that was different, although this was a school for gifted you somewhat get used to the boring powers people had. This all changed when he had spotted a girl sitting with one of her hands out. 'What's she doing?' Seeing this as something with a chance of being exciting he had tried to get out of sight but in view to see what she had been doing. Seeing as blood came out of her hand had shocked Harrison and made him more intrigued at the same one. Seeing this he got his hopes up with whatever this girl's power is. 'One way to find out.' With his perfected semi natural smile he had gone up to this girl to try and make a conversation. Well that was the plan until he had seen someone come up and talk with the girl. He had seen this person and had looked oddly familiar. Recognizing it was the person he had fought in the forest a couple of days back he had an even bigger smile. Getting away from where he had hid he had gone up with the smile he had on him thinking that this just makes it that much more interesting. "Hey there" Realizing that he actually didn't get this person's name he had just decided to do a casual greeting not really pointed towards someone.

Keira's blood fell into her hand as soon as she heard a voice talking to her. She closed her hand around the blood not letting it move anywhere. She looked up at the boy. He seemed slightly familiar but she couldn't exactly place where she had seen him before. "No." She said with a slight edge in her tone. She didn't really want to talk to anyone but this was the courtyard it was bound to happen. Why did she come here again?

She was about to say something else when another person approached the two of them. She studied the new boy for a moment. She wasn't quite sure, but it seemed like he had a reason to approach the two of them. "Uh.. Hi." She said, still having a slight edge in her tone. She should leave.

Jake turned around when another voice suddenly appeared. Sudden anger filled the boy as he remembered Louis telling him about this guy and how he made the ice break under Pepper. "Hey." He said flatly also remembering their little sparing match. "Sorry if I'm interrupting something." Jake replied after hearing the girl sound a bit angry. "I honestly have no idea why I'm here."

Hearing the tone in the guy's voice had made Harrison smile just a bit more. "Ah, well I'm sorry too if I'm interrupting something. He had stood there keeping his smile along the way. 'Although that is pretty weird, he sound so much more angry.' "I was just out on the courtyard and I saw you using your gift and that had intrigued me." Harrison had said in the nice kind manner he was forced to learn as a kid. 'That was blood right? I mean what else could be red'

The girl let out a small huff. She shouldn't be so mean, but at the same time she didn't really care. These were just other students, it wasn't like she was going to interact with them again. Well she might later, but she didn't care about good impressions. She was caught slightly off guard when the guy mentioned being intrigued by her gift. It wasn't anything special. "Oh this?" She said opening up her hand again showing the pool of blood that sat there. Soon enough if floated off her hand and formed a small ball in the air.

Jake stayed where he was letting Harrison walk up closer to get a better look. Really? Blood bending is intriguing? Jake rolled his eyes. "Do you find every gift intriguing?" The tall student couldn't help but ask.

After taking a closer look Harrison knew it was definitely blood. "Heh, well is that a bad thing? Harrison had taken a step back and had stomped his foot forward a little. While doing so he had gathered up some of the air and generated a little visible column of air around him but not enough to cause any actual damage. "I mean sure this is Beata but if you do think about it there are lots of powers out there that we haven't even heard of." 'Actual blood manipulation huh? Sounds strong, and very very painful." He had stopped the gust of win and had stepped closer keeping his grin which looked like he knew something and was hiding it. "Before Beata I knew 7 people with gifts, sorry for being so intrigued"

Keira watched the two for a moment. It seemed they had some tension between the two of them. Something she didn't really care to be involved in. She didn't flinch at the air thing, just continued to sit there, before she returned the blood to her palm. Letting it spread across her skin before letting it harden into a crystal like barrier. It wasn't enough to cover her whole hand.

She blinked when Harrison mentioned knowing people with gifts. Now that she thought about it, she didn't know anyone with a gift before coming to this school. So he was right in the being intrigued part, but blood just grossed people out so she could understand what Jake was talking about too. Though she didn't say anything on the matter, just remained quiet.

"It depends." He said flatly, walking awkwardly over to the side of a flower bed, his metal leg making a weird clank sound. Damit. Jake sat down, not feeling as awkward as standing and gave a sigh. He had no idea what to say next. The girl seemed to dislike the boys presence and he had nothing in particular to say towards Harrison. But leaving could be awkward too.

"Well I think controlling a substance that you need to survive is very intriguing. Noticing something was a bit off about this guy, although he could not fully understand what was wrong. Upon a closer look he had seen his metal leg which got Harrison thinking. 'If he can transform into a robot why doesn't he bring back his leg? Seeing the blood harden on her hand got him excited since there was more use to blood bending than just forcibly controlling people. Obviously being bored he had tried to copy what she had done but with rocks on the floor. Although he had ultimately failed and the rocks had just fallen out around his hand and left. "Huh, not as easy as it looks."

Keira shrugged. "Well it's kind of different with blood. It's already in a concentrated thing." She guessed that was a way to explain it. She didn't really pay mind to the guys metal leg. It wasn't really something she was interested in. There wasn't much she was interested in. She let the blood remain where it was. It was better than holding the liquid. She looked back to the two. She didn't really know what to say.

"Okay, I gotta ask. What should we do?" He said in a slight bored tone. "I know we "stumbled" upon you and you probably want us to leave, but there has to be something interesting around this school." Jake said honestly towards the girl.

"Ha, what should we do. Really? Harrison had stepped back to gain a little bit of distance from them although not enough for anyone to actually realize a change. Say~ we never did end off our "Spar". What say you we finish that? For the thrill of it?" Looking towards this guy and grabbing a circle belt buckle he had with his left hand. He had then picked up several little rocks and flew them towards him. After doing so he had started to charge up his power so that he could bring out his weapon soon.
