Easter Egg Hunt [Mission]

"Very well, my mice can check it out. That way, even if they are spotted, they'll just think it was local wildlife. Where was this camp at?"

She pulled out a piece of paper and glanced at it. "(insert coordinates here)," she replied.

Kirin looked at the map, "Got it." she sent a couple mice over to the location and had them scout it out. "In the mean time, would you like some tea?" Kirin picked up a kettle and set it on the fire.

"I prefer coffee," she admitted.

"I'm hungry!"

"Talon Leviathanson Maita, you are always hungry.

"Not a problem." Kirin got up and walked into the jungle, she had seen some coffee beans on her way here. Well, not coffee exactly, but it would be pretty close. She saw a lizard on one the trees as she passed by and quickly snatched it up. After gathering some plant life, she returned to the camp. She dropped the plants into the kettle and tossed the lizard at Talon. She then went to back to sit with Kotori. "Tell me about yourself." she smiled.

He caught the reptile and nipped at its throat to kill it before beginning to eat.

"Oh, I don't know. I'm not very interesting. I mean, I've only made a few friends. I guess my ex, Luca, being here makes a little tension, which keeps it from being too boring."

Kirin's eyes widened when she mentioned Luca, "Luca is your ex? What happened?"

"Oh goodness. That doesn't sound like the Luca I know. He seemed so sweet and innocent when I met him."

Maybe you just don't know how to handle him." Kirin got up and pulled the kettle off the fire and poured a couple cups of coffee, handing one to Kotori.

She drank it willingly. "YEs, maybe we're just too. . . different. It would make sense, considering we grew up so differently."

Kirin sipped at her own coffee. "And how did you grow up?"

"An Amazon warrior with a maniac for a mother," she replied. "She literally ripped out my father's lung when she caught him cheating on her."

Kirin looked into the cup in her hands, "At least you knew them. I grew up in an isolated monastery, never knowing who my parents were, only that they were dead."
