I'm not just an ordinary girl...

All of a sudden, a tall-ish girl walked in. The girl had a neat long braid which was a beautiful brown. This girls name, was Jane. Clutching her diary and notebook close to her chest, the girl had a small smile on her face. Who would she meet? Who would become her friends? Who knew... Not Jane!

As Jane entered the building, a tall man Slenderman watched from a shadow. He watched her slowly walk down the hall, glancing around. Walking towards her from behind, he put a hand on her shoulder.
"Hello. Looks like you're new here and a little scared. I'm not exactly a senior, but I know a little about the school. I could be like.. a 'tutor' for you, in means of getting used to the school. Until you're okay, at least." he said slyly. The only thing Jane knew was there was a voice. After all, the man, Kelvin, was behind her.

Jane froze as she felt a hand on her shoulder. Man... it startled her... "Yeah... Er... Thanks. I'm Jane... And you are?" She told the man her name after she spun around and got a good look at him. Alright... It would be good to have someone with her.

When Jane turned to face him, Kelvin smiled. He was tall and lean, with a face that looked mischievous and sly. His smile made it worse. He had dark brown hair, and almost mahogany colored eyes.
"Why, I'm Kelvin. Kelvin Kane Theandre." he said promptly, and sounding a little disappointed. It sounded like he expected her to know him.
"And I'm probably the best person- best person out of the males, at least- that you'll found. Because out of the ones I've seen, I'm the most sane." his voice was calm, like this was nothing new. like he'd done everything before, all the same way, with no changes or anything.

Jane smiled. "Nice to meet you." She said, her smile still bright. "Well... That's good to know- Wait... does everyone here have a... power or gift?" She had to know... Jane would hate to be the only person here with a gift. If Kelvin said that there were at least more than one person, she would be glad.

Kelvin looked dumbfounded at her question.
"I..I..." stammering over his words, he cleared his throat with embarrassment.
"Yes, of course. This school is, of course, a school for the gifted. Not with smarts; gifted with powers, a blessing from the Gods." he answered, standing straighter.

Jane let out a heave, smiling. "That is good... What is yours? Mine is Light Manipulation." She said. Stumbling at a few points... She had gotten away from the usual shy self, and was glad about it.

Kelvin grinned with sly excitement. Darting to the nearest wall, he put a hand on it, and prayed he wouldn't fall this time. Lifting his knee. the toe of his shoe pressed against the wall, like a rocky ledge he was scaling. Slowly, he climbed the wall, then looked down at Jane from above.
"Wall-crawling! It's really fun." he answered. Twisting his head, he looked at the ceiling, inches above him. Stretching out his hand, it stuck to the surface. Then his heart dropped into his stomach, which then plummeted to his feet. He fell down, a foot, two feet, three, four, five. Thud. He hit the ground with a loud, echoing thud, and groaned, rolling over. Shit, was this a bad idea.

Jane looked at Kelvin, her eyes wide. "Cool!" When he fell, Jane rushed over. "Oh my gosh! Are you okay?!?" she asked. She hoped so... That would be horrible if he was hurt... She did feel sympathetic for him... As she did for all people. But it was mostly just because of what had happen to him... Jane hated to see people hurt.

Kelvin didn't answer. For a moment he lay there, not breathing. Slowly, an eye opened.
"I..think so.. I've never fallen from.. that high up... before.." he coughed out. Nearly every time he coughed, blood would splatter a little on his hand.

Jane looked at him, a worried look on her face. It all happened in the same moment... Jane leaned forward, and kissed Kelvin. But it didn't last long. Oh crap... I kissed someone on my first day...

Kelvin's eyes slowly opened as Jane kissed him. With alarm and wonder. Now, how'd that happen already? he thought with amusement. He forced himself to sit up, but not without an expression of discomfort and pain.
"I might have dislocated something.. he muttered, gingerly tapping his elbow. Pain flooded his arm and he winced.
"Or broken." he added plaintively, not mentioning the random kiss.

Jane looked at Kelvin for a moment, then his elbow. "Well, good thing my mother once was a nurse. I have learned a thing or two from her..." she said. Half murmuring, half speaking. She then switched over so she could get a good look at Kelvin's broken, but hopefully dislocated elbow. "Is it alright if I touch it to see if it is broken or dislocated? by the look of it, I think it is only dislocated, but I can't truly rely on that... I just want to get your approval..." She didn't want to just all of a sudden cause him pain without letting him know... That would be horrible.

Kelvin nodded.
"Yea, uh-huh. Doesn't really matter, as long as you can figure out what's wrong with it; dislocated, broken, permanently forever damaged and never to be used again.. Oh wait. That's broken." he smiled, that same sly grin from before.

Jane nodded. Pressing her fingers lightly on his elbow, she felt around. A relieved look fell over her face. "Phew... It's only dislocated. I'm going to go ahead and pop it back into place..." Jane answered. She felt for the right spot, and then. Pop! She knew how much it must have hurt Kelvin, but at least it was in the right place.
