Stephanie's smiled dropped a little at his comment, but his cheerful tone showed her that he was just being a little trickster. She couldn't say she wasn't use to it. Cayden was the master of those kind of jokes.
The blonde jumped as Chris grabbed her shoulder for support. Concern washed over her for a moment. Grabbing his side, she closed her eyes for the moment and focused on the light that streamed into the room. Her hand and his side began to glow a faint light as she used her ability to bring back some strength to his legs.
Once she was done, she took a deep breath and wiped a bit of sweat from her brow. "You've been in bed for a while, it's okay. Hopefully that helps."
"Please don't force yourself. We don't need to go for a walk if you're not up for it," she spoke, her tone somewhat motherly in the moment.
