Side effects:
While he can make himself heavier, his body does not adjust to the difference. If he isn't careful, he can basically crush himself under his own weight. Also, the larger the object being manipulated, the longer it takes to manipulate it. It takes a lot of power to change the density and his lack of stamina leads to typical overuse side effects. Also, objects manipulated stay that way until they are changed back to how they were.
