Arbor grabbed the spoon cautiously, examining it and glaring back at Serenity. She said nothing. The girl was still hesitant to accept, still considering knocking the girl over the head, but at less of a believability. Her thoughts seemed empty, incapable of happening, and she flipped the spoon in her hand, taking in her warped reflection in the concave side and her oppositely so mirror on the other side. She brushed her bangs back and smoothed them, almost as Serenity herself had them.

She watched Arbor, the look on her face seeming stranger and more confused by the moment as the older girl stared into her reflection of the plastic, brushing away a few strands of hair she saw out of her eyes... Which was okay and all for Serenity, but there was a perfectly good tub of ice cream between them, and she was holding a spoon, not a mirror!

"You don't want the first bite? It's okaaayyyy, it's not like I poisoned it or anything!" Which sounded exactly like a little girl who poisoned her ice cream might have said, but never mind that. As proof and testament to it's safety and complete yummy-ness, she dug her own spoon in, pulling out a little pile of delishousness and inhaling it all at once.

Seren focused hard, savoring what she could and avoiding the brink of brainfreeze before she'd finished and smiled back up at Arbor eagerly. "See?!"

Arbor watched her do it silently, passively, studying her as if it actually were a tutorial worth watching, but with a boredom in her eyes she seemed to be forcing. She lowered her fork apprehensively, pausing to readjust the collar of her coat to a wind that wasn't blowing, and made contact with the ice cream. It was harder than it looked. She dug a small bit out, looking at Serenity with an annoyed 'stop watching me' glare, and studied the dessert as she brought it to her mouth, glaring at it until her eyes practically crossed. And she put it in her mouth. She tried to chew but thought better of it. She glanced at Serenity's watchful eyes and studied the weird substance, a substance that didn't seem...right. The texture was a throw off.

"It's all right," Arbor murmured, looking out in front of her at nothing and placing the spoon in her mouth. The girl put her hands in her pockets, leaving the spoon there, every now and again nipping at it so the handle elevated.

Thankfully, this particular ice cream didn't end up like it's old partner, met with a cruel fate underneath the elder girl's foot. Serenity's eyes sparkled and shimmered as she watched Arbor stubbornly savor the sweet treat as best as she would allow herself. The blonde herself wasted no time herself digging in and scooping out another spoonful before passing the bowl off into the Winter's hands. "You mean, it's the best thing EVER!" Seren giggle quietly at her own little humor, "You're right!"

Best thing ever? That was an overstatement. Arbor took another spoonful, pondering it slowly, getting used to the weird texture that seemed to slug along in her mouth before dissipating. It took a few more of these before she was content enough to lick the spoon and pocket it. Unceremoniously, she stood, taking a coin from her pocket and flipping it. "I'm gonna go," the girl said. She was positive this would be the last she'd see of this little girl. With that, she began to walk, out of the blue, away.
