| Marcel had never expected himself to be stuck in a situation like this with the one person he despised the most in the world. Coincidentally, him and his distant cousin Valerie had both approached the mission board at the same time, a pen in hand, ready to sign their name down for a strange mission involving monsters in England. Although there were two slots available, each of them refused to go with the other, although refused to miss the opportunity. It seems their stubborn attitudes won, as they both begrudgingly wrote their names down for that particular mission.
The plane ride across the ocean had been painstakingly silent. The pair had been forced to sit next to each other in coach seats. Money wasn't an issue for the two blondes, but their school refused to allow them to upgrade. So they sat in silence, not including the small sounds of pain as the refreshment cart knocked into Marcel's elbow with every pass.
When they arrived, the Autumn let out a deep and relieved sigh. Stretching out his shoulders and tossing his small bag over his shoulders, he headed towards the front entrance of the airport, not bothering to check if his oh-so-wonderful cousin was following. A clump of people shouted various profanities at each other whenever one managed to catch a taxi. The boy groaned at the site, and glanced around, checking if there was even any space for a private car.
"I doubt we'll have any chance of finding a taxi with this sort of crowd," Marcel grumbled. A few older looking women, obviously native to the lands with their giant teeth and intense glares, scoffed as they overheard his accent. The boy only smiled. It was common for the Brits to laugh at him and his clear French accent. "Damn frogs," they'd whisper under their breaths.
Turning back to look at Valerie with narrowed blue eyes and a clear smirk, he laughed. "This should be fun."

| Valerie's visible irritability made the boy want to chuckle. As much as he despised this glorified hell hole, he wasn't one to show it so clearly on his face. Or express it in his tone. Watching his cousin grow more and more frustrated over time was arguably the best part of this trip, and they had barely begun it.
After raising his eyebrows at the blonde as if she had said something preposterously stupid, he flicked his head towards a black cab sitting some ways away. Inside, a rather fat man sat nibbling on a variety of pastries and looking nonchalantly at his phone. For those who noticed him, he was obviously stirring up quite the fuss. Swinging his hands back and forth, the boy waited patiently for the cab driver to look his way. Although it wasn't necessary and he could easily use his gift to bring the driver towards the pair of blondes, he decided to wait. It would be so painful for her, waiting, and waiting, when she had already done so much waiting already.
A minute later, after what he deemed to be enough torture for Valerie, he stared at the driver and his one eye began to glow an eerie red. The driver dropped his deserts and grabbed his head in pain as Marcel continued to push his conscious into the man's body. Thankfully, his insecurities and fears were enough to make it too easy for Marcel, who was soon simultaneously driving the black car towards them and standing beside his cousin with an almost proud expression.
Pulling the car up to them and earning angry groans and curse words in response, he opened the back door for Valerie and gestured towards the inside. "After you, my dear lady," he smirked.

| Marcel followed his cousin's examples and let the poor driver's mind free. He jolted up, as if suddenly waking from a nasty dream. Frantically looking around, he was obviously startled by the two blonds in the back, as well as the simple fact that he was no longer munching on his favourite desert foods. He let out a long 'uhhh' before Marcel snapped towards the luggage. The driver, still confused, got out of the car and plopped the bags in the trunk. It wasn't a pleasant looking, nor smelling car, but it would have to do.
Once they were on their way, Marcel pulled down one of the windows for a somewhat fresh breeze. He turned to Valerie and raised his eyebrow. "I've been wondering. How will we deal with those 'monsters' if they do get loose? We aren't exactly the most, offensive type of people," he murmured, leaning over so the driver couldn't hear them.

| Marcel held back a scoff. "Do you think me so dimwitted as to forget something so important?" Unlike her, he hadn't quite yet found any weapon he particularly took a liking to. Luckily he was trained in many different forms of combative and physical training like any well respected Amell had been, so any weapon would do in times of need. In this case, a retractable spear hidden away in his suitcase was his choice. The boy was rather confident in his skills, and trusted that he was easily on par or even better than the sweet relative that sat beside him. But in this particular moment, he wasn't quite sure if that would be enough. The reports had emphasized how terrifyingly strong these creatures would be, and Marcel was not eager to find that out himself.
"That is not what I meant. I sincerely hope you do not believe they will be the size small children. Are you planning on destroying these creatures with what they would consider a toothpick, should they escape?"
