Kimply is, in general, a bright, bubbly person. She's always full of energy and gives anything she does one hundred percent. She has a habit of finding people who she feels needs her help, and she tries to 'fix' them. This could be a defense mechanism to help her avoid her own problems. Such as, trust issues, abandonment issues, a bad case of daddy issues, all due to her father leaving her at a young age.

Once Kimply sets her mind to something, she never gives up on it, no matter how long it takes. She's stubborn and determined. She's constantly seeking answers, a nature born Winter, and is always curious. Though she doesn't come off that way, she's incredibly intelligent and a clever thinker, especially in battle, where she prefers to stand back and consider all of her options before attacking.

If Kimply sees you as important to her, she's fiercely loyal and will do anything for you. However, it's hard to gain her trust, and very few people have accomplished that, though she remains friendly to everyone nonetheless. At times, Kimply can be ignorant of others feelings, and is strongly opinionated. She has a habit of going too far without realizing what she's doing.




Kimply is a bit taller than most girls, and though she's pretty, she's not unnaturally so. Her hair is naturally blonde, but she dyes it pastel pink. She usually has it down in two braids, and she's so used to doing this that it's become a nervous habit of her's to braid her hair. Her skin is pale, her hair and eyes striking against it. It would be hard to tell when she's not in her uniform, since her normal wardrobe is preppy and uniform-like. Skirts, bottom ups, oxfords, typically in shades of gray, blue, and pink.



Kimply was born in Portland, Maine, to Wilona and Joseph Huffman. When she was just a child, her father left her, and she has only one memory of him. Her father's departure had a negative effect on her mother, who grew depressed and couldn't provide for Kimply. Some days her mother functioned normally, and some days she couldn't even talk or get out of bed. Kimply quickly learned to fend for herself at a young age, making her own meals and walking to school on her own.

Her mother couldn't hold a steady job, and they moved around a lot. Kimply had to work to support them both, usually small jobs, and she took care of her mother the best she could. Because of this, Kimply grew fixated on what her life would have been like if her father never left, and she focused on finding him to fulfill this fantasy life she'd created in her head. As she grew older, she began to despise her mother for not being there for her, and taking away her childhood. Her mother still calls her at Beata, and often she cries and begs her to come home, but Kimply has grown cold to her pleas.

A few years ago, Kimply left Beata for a short period to go find her father. Her mother had given her information, saying he might be able to help Ethan. She travelled to New York to find him in a sketchy apartment. He was drunk and a mess, and yelled slurs at Kimply, telling her how he had left for a reason and didn't want her. Heartbroken, she stayed in New York for a few months, trying to find herself again before returning to Beata once again.

Jayden has the charisma of his father, and the outgoing nature of his mother. However, you would never guess after just one meeting. He's quiet and isn't always the one to initiate conversation. Though he feels comfortable around people and is generally an extravert, Jayden doesn't have many people he considers close.

People know of him, mainly because of his parents and because he's mute, but despite being popular, he feels like he can't connect to people. Mostly he attributes this to his muteness, but really, he has trouble being open about his true thoughts and feelings, preferring to cover them up with humor and smiles.

On the inside, Jayden actually struggles with plenty of personal issues, though he shares this with no one. He misses his brother, Jace, but he also feels inadequate compared to him. He has self esteem issues, and despises his muteness, feeling like it makes him undesirable. Jayden feels lonely and unwanted, and he struggles with depression, which worsened after he saw his father nearly die, and since his brother left.




Jayden is tall, and is only growing taller as he grows older. He's lanky, with long limbs, but he's a slim muscular. He has his mother's crimson eyes as well as her blond hair, which is often messy and pushed up. His skin has many imperfections, but in general he's an attractive guy. Out of his uniform, he typically wears flannels, band shirts, hats and beanies, etc. He has an affinity for the color red and black.




Jayden was born in a loud, happy family. He however, was always a quiet child. Eerily quiet. Despite being a normal, healthy baby, his parents couldn't figure out why he never made a sound. Normal doctors could help, so they took him to a specialist in magic medicine. The doctor told them that Jayden's rarity indeed had magical origins, but there was nothing he could do. Accepting this, they learned sign language and taught it to him as he grew up.

He grew up a happy child, though he eventually realized he wasn't like other children. It was hard to make friends for him, especially before he mastered his gift, so he found music and stuck to it. He had a natural talent because of his musical family, and a supernatural talent because of his power, making it easy for him to master any instrument with little effort. In the future, he plans on being in a band.

A few years back, his father was stabbed and would have died if not for him being healed. Jayden was the one who found him bleeding out, and the image still haunts his nightmares, reminding him the constant danger they're in.

To truly go into Emelia's history, we have to go back to before Emelia was born. Susan Summerton was a beautiful, selfish woman. One day she passed an old woman on the street who was begging for help, and Susan told her to get a job. The woman grew furious and began muttering in a language unknown to Susan, who left the woman quickly. This woman turned out to be a witch, who changed her life forever. Susan forgot about this day until years later, when she met the man of her dreams. Susan found out her body was poison when she killed her new husband on their wedding night. Devastated and fearing she'd be charged for murder, she ran and later had Emelia. Later, after a man forced himself on her, she had Emelia's younger brother, Sam.

Both children were only partially immune to the poison in their system, and both are constantly sick. However, Emelia's body seemed to have fought the poison better than her younger brother, who was growing closer and closer to death. Wanting to spend what little time he had left with him, Emelia travelled back to Australia, planning on staying there until he died. She spent the majority of her time at the hospital, where she met Kenzie Yeong, befriending her. The two quickly grew close and had a brief romantic relationship before Kenzie passed away. Soon, Sam followed, and Emelia and her mother mourned the loss.

One night, while Emelia's mother was in hysterics and drunk, she told Emelia all about the curse she believed was put on her, and how all the death that surrounded them was her fault. She tried to kill herself, but Emelia stopped her and put her to bed. The next day Emelia woke up and her mother was gone, leaving her a note apologizing for everything she'd done. Still devastated by all the that she recently lost, Emelia headed back to Beata.
