| Sari knew it was time to learn new gifts. She had read a book of Norse mythology, and found a special meditation ritual (made for dark elves, but she was close enough, right?) that could help with her stamina, and she could even project her body elsewhere! All she had to do was concentrate, so she decided that the quiet library would be better than her dorm, where she would be easily distracted.
Taking a deep breath, Sari closed her eyes and tried to imagine a forest. A forest, full of dark, dark places. There were terrifying animals, intimidating forces, and some of the patches of dark were so deep they looked like the Earth swallowed up the ground. But, she wasn't where she wanted to be quite yet. She imagined herself walking towards the center of the forest (or at least where her instinct told her she need to go).
Once she felt she was where she needed to be, she clenched her fists and gathered her magic, letting it caress her fingertips, but not letting go of it quite yet. Her seiðr (magic) was a deep, blood red, and it was yearning to be let go. 'Not yet,' She spread her hands wide and pictured her seiðr going all through the air and infecting it all with her awareness.'Now' She immediately felt drained, but she knew that doing this more often would be necessary.
Sari could, when she looked hard enough, feel and "see" everyone around her. It was a completely new feeling, as if she was learning to control her tail all over again (long story). She could sense the librarian, putting books back on the shelves, the numerous people browsing for whatever they needed to find, and the others like her, cozing in chairs that were scattered across the wide expanse of the room. It was amazing. She let out a long, contented sigh. 'This could help my paranoia a lot, but I need more practice...' Sari wasn't even expecting for her experiment to work, but it did, which made this even more amazing.

| Jocellyn browsed the books under the category "N", looking for a particular books she had been searching lately, at least until the new heavy-metal album came out so she could get it on her phone and pump it pleasantly into her ears. Oh, and it was a past-time to scroll throuh books, just seeing the titles would make the not quite mute girl want to giggle onder her bandages. "Nice Bunny Teaches You How To Read" and " Never Trust The Goverment" sou ded likes they could become best-sellers, what could she say?
Carrying the crushingly heavy books she had finally found, titled "The Never-Ending History Of Powers", Jocellyn walked quietly, and sat down next to who she later recognized as Sarika, seeming deeply absorbed into meditation (hardly something that interested the girl). So the Intiate opened her book and started reading on random powers, accepting that she was way more interested in whatever thenother girl was up to than her huge, collosal, gargantuan, stupid books.
Jocellyn blinked awkwardly, turning her head towards Sarika and, after watching her with a few seconds, as if she could see through her, she lifted and arm and steeled her hand firmly into a pointing pose, then she poked the girl's arm and tilted her head up at her, waiting for a reaction.

| Sarika felt a small, dull throb in her vessel's arm. Instead of overreacting and opening her eyes, she shifted her conscience towards her right, and sensed someone familiar, who seemed to have cat ears. Sarika calmly dispersed her seiðr and signed: J-O-C-E-L-L-Y-N-? She opened her (now deep red) eyes slowly and turned towards her right. 'Whoops, I hope I didn't scare her with my eyes...it would have probably helped if I made them brown again, huh...' Sarika did as she thought, and smiled brightly at Jocellyn. | Jocellyn blinked in surprise as she noticed Sarika's beight red eyes. She burshed a lock of blonde hair out of her vace and shrugged. It wasn't big deal for Beata students to go like this, mostly because most of them were total freaks, like her. She patted her friend on her back, curiously peeking into her book.
I-T-I-S-C-O-O-L-W-H-A-T-I-S-I-T-?
The mute formed the question with her hands, abandonning her book on gifts on the carpeted floor of the Library. Probably some old lady was going to pick it up later, and if she was going to make a big deal about not putting it up, she'll just shrug it off and do as she says until she was left alone.

(Note: I greatly apologize for not posting in a while I completely forgot about this in favor of schoolwork and congrats on getting sorted!)
