Barry stood by the entrance of the academy, taking a deep breath. He wasn't sure about this mission, although he knew that he'd have to get out there eventually. He was still having nightmares about the pyramids despite Cassandra having returned. He'd always wake up in a cold sweat, yelling her name.
He sighed and looked at his phone, waiting for his cousin and another girl, Sophia. He didn't think that he had ever met her, although he wasn't sure. His eyes scanned the area around the fountain, looking for any sign of his partners so they could get going. They were being sent to some research facility in Germany to rescue a former student, Matthew Thomsen. A name that sounded vaguely familiar in the Autumn's mind. He remembered the big bonfire he tried to start, way back when he had first arrived. Matt was there, despite only being there to question what he was doing. A small smile came on his face as he remembered. Those were simpler times.
"Where are they?" he muttered to himself, tapping his foot impatiently.
