Harpy Nest [Mission Topic]

Thomas headed out to the front of the school. He was the first one out there, so he sat down by the fountain to wait for his partners. As he sat there, he wondered how the mission would go. He's heard that sometimes they could go bad, like the time two students went to Egypt and only one came back, the other presumed dead. Then another time a few students and a guardian were held captive and tortured for months. The guardian came back as well as a student or two, but one was confirmed to still be at the facility. The Summer shook his head of those thoughts. He needed to think positively.

With his navy blue JanSport backpack in tow, Renji made his way to the meeting place that was given in the little packet of "instructions." He'd gone on a mission or two before, and although they'd gone alright, this one seemed to be a bit more... dangerous. Something about the description told him that a big fight was gonna happen and luckily, he'd been starting to get his power under control.

Reaching the fountain that sat near the school entrance, the tall orange haired student ran his hand gracefully through his medium length hair, and soon stood in front of the red haired kid named Thomas that was apparently his company for the ride. "We waiting for someone else?" Renji asked with a smile on his face as he set the backpack down by his feet. It only carried necessary everyday items, but even so, he hadn't realized how heavy it really was until he'd been carrying for what seemed like ages.

Mission, mission, mission, I can't belive I'm going on my first mission! Aina thought excitedly as she walked out of the frlnt doors. She was carrying a backpack with necesary stuff, and she kept on ballancing a pencil on a force field on her way out. She considered it some sort of excersive, althought it was beginning to bore her pretty much. No worries, once I'll be in a house, I'll start working extra hard! she reasured herself before bounding off to the two guys she was going to work with. One of them was slender guy with a ponytail, while the other appeared taller, with medium orange hair. She greeted them both with a smile.

"Hey, guys!" Aina said, stepping up with an excited grin. The instructions said theh were going to Greece, and Aina was looking forward to the flight over the Atlantic to get to Europe. If it was going to be anything like the flight from Japan to the U.S.A, she was down for it.

Thomas was about to speak up when he heard the third and final member of their mission trio. "Yeah. Here she is right now," the red haired boy replied with a smile. He turned to the girl who was just approaching and nodded. "Hey!" he said cheerfully. He stood up and grabbed his bag that held his luggage. He waved to them so they would follow and entered a taxi. The cab would then take them to the nearest airport and they would fly to Greece from there.

They arrived at the airport in only a half an hour and made their way through to board their plane. It didn't take long and they were on board with plenty of time to spare before takeoff. The trio placed their luggage where it belonged and Thomas took a window seat. It was going to be a fairly long flight, so he wanted a view to enjoy on their way. The flight was about 11 hours long, and by the time they arrived in Greece, it was already the next day. So the three of them grabbed another taxi and immediately went to the hotel the school had gotten them. Thomas entered their room and collapsed on the nearest bed. "We'll get a fresh start tomorrow. Or rather, later today. Have a good sleep," he said, voice muffled by a pillow.

Turing around to see a girl walk up to them, the taller student gave a wave of greeting and grabbed his bag from where it sat by his legs. Making his way to the taxi that had arrived, he flung the backpack into the trunk and got into the taxi. Goodbye school, hello Greece!

The flight was pretty average and surprisingly peaceful, which he in fact enjoyed, and wasn't going to complain about the eleven hour silence that overtook their section of the plane. Renji had been able to sleep for most of the flight and soon enough, they arrived to their destination. Making their way to the hotel, the orange haired student shuffled into the room with the others, observing that their were only two queen beds and a couch. Thomas had already claimed a bed, and it was him and Aina left to feud over the remaining bed. Well, unless they wanted to make things awkward and sleep together (which he wouldn't have minded at all), they had better sleep in separate places.

"I call the couch!" the tall student exclaimed, dropping his bag and slumping down to the small piece of furniture, his feet hanging off the arm of the chair. Well, it was better than sleeping on the floor, right?

Kicking off his sneakers, Renji pulled a pillow onto the arm of the chair that his head was awkwardly rested upon and put his hands under his head, lying on his back. "See ya'll later then," he commented with a lazy solute of a wave and closed his eyes, ready to get some rest.

Aina smiled cheerfully as the three students filled in the taxi that would take them to the local airport. She studied two boys all the way there, wondering about their gifts and houses. Soon the yellow car stopped and they went into the airport. From there, everything went as usual, the check out and the wait for the plane. Then they boarded and the lfihgt was off. There was nothing special about their journey. She read and listened to music most of the time, and by some time when they were still flying over the ocean, Aina had fallen asleep and woken up as they landed. She folloed the two boys sleepily until thy were finally at the hotel.

The Japanese girl yawned as she entered the room, frowning as Thomas and Renji quickly chose their beds before her. "Kõheide wanai!" she protested in Japanese, dropping her back the last bed and collapsing in it as soon as she sat down on its side. "Night." she wished her teammates, falling asleep soon enough.

Aina woke up gently as sunshine filtered throught the windows. She hoped this would be a good day for finding the harpies, the mission was dangerous enouh on its own, without any bad weather. She prodded Thomas on the other bed near her, throwing a pillow at the sleeping Renji.

Thomas jerked awake at Aina's prodding. "Whaddya doing that for? I'm tryin' to sleep," the red-haired boy mumbled groggily. He threw himself back down onto the bed face first and close his eyes again. However, he didn't fall back to sleep. After another minute, he slowly got out of the hotel bed and stumbled his way into the bathroom, dragging his suitcase with him. He freshened up and got dressed as quick as he could and then stepped out. "Alright, I'm ready," he told the others, brushing his hair back.

Although sleeping on a couch to small for him seemed uncomfortable at first, he'd actually gotten a good night's sleep. Well, that was, until someone threw something at him.

Sitting up with a jolt, the orange haired student looked around, wondering if something horrible was happening. Bright sunlight now shown into the room and upon seeing the girl that accompanied them and Thomas, who was still in his bed, he let out a tired moan and fell back onto the couch, mumbling something under his breath. Why couldn't naps last forever?

After a few moments of staring up at the ceiling and listening to his roommates shuffle around their bags, he let out a sigh. Those Harpies aren't going to destroy themselves, he reminded himself and sat up, still too tired to be up this early. Throwing the blanket off of him revealed a tall, white skinned, decently fit student, wearing only green boxers and ankle high socks. Looking to the bathroom which was already occupied, he gave a simple shrug, completely forgetting about the girl that occupied the room with him and Thomas, and hoisted his bag onto his lap.

Shirt, pants, shoes, all present and accounted for.

Standing up, the almost naked boy slipped on his skinny jeans and looked into the backpack that he'd placed on the couch. Long sleeve plaid or tank top, decisions, decisions. Assuming that the weather was pretty warm from the amount sunlight, he couldn't help but wonder if there was a slight breeze or what he'd do if it became cloudy? Letting out a huff, Renji decided on both. Grabbing the dark blue tank top that had some sort of ocean wave symbol imprinted in the middle of it, he slipped it over his head and put the faded grey and white plaid shirt over it, and rolled the sleeves, but didn't button it.

Sitting back down onto the couch, Renji put his navy blue Vans over his feet and grabbed his brush and a hair tie from his backpack. Putting the hair tie over his wrist, he brushed his hair back, and grasped the tightly brushed back hair in one hand. Shimmying the band to the top of his fist, he stretched out the small black hair tie and placed it over the section of his hair, putting his usual medium length, flowy, orange locks into a neatly made ponytail.

"I'm ready too," the tall student chimed in, grabbing his backpack and throwing it over his shoulder as he looked in Aina's direction, wondering if like most girls, she'd take twice as long as the guys to get ready and freshen up for the day.

Aina grinned as she sent Thomas shuffling to get ready into the bathroom, stretchig out for her bag to get her clothes. Soon, she had managed to pick out what she was going to wear, but as she poked her eyes up, she sat the almost naked boy and imeediately turned red. Do gifted boys always do that????? she thoguth with annoyanced, hiding under her blanket in a tight ball. After a few moments, when she heard the bathroom door open, she dared to poke her head out and went over sheepishly to the bathroom to get dressed herself. When she came out, she had her hair caught into a tight ponytail, wearing a tank top, jeans and boots.

Thomas had also pulled his hair back into a small ponytail as the girl had come out. The Summer was wearing a plain navy blue tank top and khaki shorts. He expected today to be a warm one so he had dressed for the occasion. Not that he felt cold anyway, but it might be slightly alarming to see a boy wearing summer clothes in the dead of winter. He looked at his partners and noticed that they had all tied their hair back into a ponytail. Perks of having long-ish hair, right? He smirked and looked towards the door. "Alright, let's get going," he said, clapping his hands together. He led the other two outside and hailed a cab. He grabbed a piece of paper with the address they needed to go to and handed it to the driver, since Thomas figured the driver didn't speak much English. It was a short ride and handed the driver the correct amount of money owed. He got out and motioned for the other two to follow. The place they had been dropped off at was the edge of the town they had been staying in, and spread out before them was a small forest with a cave at the other end, clearly seen through the trees. He pointed towards the cave. "That's our target. Let's get those harpies out of there and hopefully drive them off to a more remote location. If we have to, kill them. But only if we have to," he explained.

OOC: Most likely they'll probably have to. Just because.

Following Thomas out of the hotel and into a cab, Renji was thankful that he didn't pack much and placed his bag on his lap, it being small enough to fit in the cab with them. Sitting in silence, the Winter prepared himself for what ever lied ahead, seeing that none of them really knew what was actually going to happen. Soon enough, the trio was dropped off at what seemed to be the edge of town, and looking through the lightly wooded forest, he was just able to make out what appeared to be a large cave. Turning to Thomas, the tall student gave a nod at his comment about not killing anything. The task seemed easy enough.

"Ready?" he asked, turning to Aina, wondering if she was anymore nervous than he was. Maybe she was tougher than she looked, or... maybe not. Well, only time would tell.

As they got in the cab, Aina was thankful of her small backpack where she fit emergency suplies and nothing more. He hand seemed to ache under the fingerless gloves that kept her hands warm and ready to form a forcefield at need. When they arrived she stepped out hesitantly behind them, her hands clutched in fists besides her. But she had to let go and focus, for the sake of her teammates. "Let's go." she gulped besides them.

Thomas took a deep breath and led the group through the woods. Thankfully the sun was out so he felt energized but he was still nervous about the mission at hand. He dug his hands into his pockets and weaved in and out of the trees, slowly getting closer to the harpy nest. He didn't want to just rush in and risk startling the harpies any more than they already would. They finally got close to the entrance and he told the duo behind him to stop. "Okay, we do this as easy and painless as possible. There's no need to fight until they swing first. Then we retaliate," he explained to them.

Following Thomas through the forest and staying as quiet as possible, Renji tried his best not to trip over any fallen branches or make any sudden noises. After a few moments of swiftly making their way towards, the group reached a spot near the entrance. Looking to the other boy, he gave a nod of his head when he explained no fighting unless needed. Well, it wasn't that he didn't want to fight, but if that prevented injuries, then so be it.
