| Jeremy sat in the farthest corner of the library, not daring to look away from the book which was on his knees in front of him. His eyes flew along the page, taking in every word as if he was a sponge absorbing water. He had always been shy and insecure, but now even more with no one being here that he knew. His heart had been telling him to go out, make friends and be social, but his mind, which ruled in this case, screamed at him to shut up and don't risk being hurt by anyone. Being the way he was had resulted in him having no friends and no one wanting to talk with him. | |
