| Nathaniel groaned in his cot, extremely frustrated by his inability to move without wincing, and unable to leave his bed. It had been a frustrating past few days with the loss of two of his most trusted teachers; one who had been murdered in his own classroom and the other who held the knife, nearly ending his own life. It had been so blurry after that. He remembered darkness and swore he saw Jayden before finally feeling as if he was drifting off before this bright light hit him. Next thing he knew he woke up in here with his wife, looking like a cross between being distraught and pissed - as if she might finish him off for good. His golden eyes narrowed, thinking of the cold, unfamiliar look he saw on Barret. He trusted this man with his life. Why? He couldn't understand it. It was with slow thought that he realized the school was unguarded and with no leader. The school was thrown into confusion and everything stood at a halt, students unable to leave campus, and no one had any answers as to what was going on. From where he was he had tried by every means he had to get in contact with the former headmistress, to try and get gain her help - or to see if she had any insight as to what was going on, but he was always met with a dead end. As if his frustrations weren't enough. He tried to watch the remaining staff cautiously from then on, before coming to the decision to call in a few who he thought would help put his mind at ease, and pull this school back together. He saw a few shapes moving in the doorway, tossing his gaze over, but he couldn't make them out. "Melody?" He called out a guess. The lovely nurse of his couldn't have been too far off.
think tree. channel the >:I-ness It wasn't her in the doorway, but she had paused to glance inside at the sickly shape in the bed. He looked terrible, she thought, a wonder that he lived. The headmaster wasn't her concern, though, not at the moment anyways. He had already filled them in well enough on his misfortunes. There was another she had been curious about. The first to be attacked, the school secretary. Why her, a girl of such little importance compared to the others harmed? She needed to know the whole story if things were to be done properly; hopefully in a timely and orderly fashion. There was no time for site-seeing or reunions.. She had set aside practically her entire life to come here, peeving a few stockholders and leaving on such short notice with no explanation at hand. The woman, with sharp, green eyes and messy, blonde hair that just barely reached her shoulder, walked into the room a few doors down - looking over the woman who was resting there. Curious, she thought, how Nathaniel and Wray had been stabbed repeatedly - and once again, she'd been hardly wounded in comparison. Why bother? She walked over to the beside, her steps quiet and cautious, unable to tell if the Miss was sleeping or not. "Elizabeth Laine?" She said, recalling the girls name. Trying to save patience for the girl in the hospital bed, she crossed her arms and waited a bit before speaking again. "I have several questions for you, if you'd please..." Although waking her up wouldn't be a big deal, right?
And for the luls, in between Nate and Lizzie's rooms, Ethan was still passed out in his coma - completely unaware of anything going on. <3

| "Hey dude. You look like shit." A voice called from the doorway as Desken Moore entered just after Irene. He walked over to the cot and studied his friend with an amused look, though he couldn't completely hide his concern. "Then again, that does happen when you get stabbed multiple times, zombie." He smirked, crossing his arm and listening to Irene from the other room. She appeared to be all business as usual, and didn't seem to be needing him any, (Though, that didn't really come as a surprise) so Desken figured he would stay and keep the headmaster company. after all, this was the only relationship tree's character wore the pants.
Elizabeth had been awake for a while, though she had been trying to figure everything out in the quiet of her own mind. Even knowing practically everything about Barret Spion, the young woman couldn't make sense of his decision to spare her. That would only cause trouble later on. She would end up telling the others all the plans she had knowledge of and that could possibly cause Barret's death. She knew that Agrona wasn't against ending someone's life if she saw it fit. Elizabeth had found that out first hand. Not only had the woman caused Elizabeth's near death, she had also caused another death many years ago. Out of all the memories Elizabeth Laine had collected, her's and otherwise, that one stuck out more than perhaps any other. She still remember the absolute terror on her father's face before he dropped to the ground, never to rise again. Yes, Agrona could be cold, so why had Barret spared her life? She wasn't sure she wanted the answer. Upon hearing a woman's voice, Lizzie opened her amber eyes to look over at a blonde she had never seen before. Since she was incredibly weak, she had no way to stop the onslaught of memories that hit her. She took a shaky breath and cleared her throat before speaking. "Of course. I'll try to be as helpful as I can." She really wasn't looking forward to the questions, because she wasn't sure if she wanted to answer them or not. No, wait. Of course she wanted to. Why shouldn't she, after all? Elizabeth had this chance to help everyone by handing over the information she currently held. She shouldn't feel conflicted over this.

| Nathaniel blinked once or twice, knowing that voice from anywhere, but he hadn't expected to be hearing it so soon. A grin grew on his face, momentarily forgetting his pain and quickly sitting up, or trying to, to greet him. "Deske - oh, fuck!" He winced and gritted his teeth, laying back down with a sigh. Alright, he got a bit ahead of himself, but have some sympathy. He hadn't seen his best friend in who knew how long? Nate resigned to reach out his hand for Desken to shake, like those tight guys do. [idunno. Imtiredlol] "I've come back from worse, I think. Can't kill me." He joked, shaking his head, trying to clear his head. Desken was still kind of a blur to him, like the rest of the room. "Its good to see you, man." He said with a weak smile. ethan and barret, you two better grab those pants and raise them from perdition. ;A;
So, she was awake after all, though she looked and sounded terrible - if not worse than the others. "Thank you." Irene muttered, appreciating the youmg woman's easy cooperation despite her condition. She then paused, realizing she hadn't introduced herself for being too eager to hear this girl's story. Oh, well. She pondered what qjestions to ask first before speaking again. "The man who attacked you, his name is Barret Spion, correct?" She prompted in a matter-of-factly tone. "Did you know him at all, really? Were you two close?" She considered the fact that Elizabeth had been attacked in her own home and that maybe this was a personal grudge. But then...? Irene frowned, "Can you tell me what you remember happened?" She asked quickly again.

| Desken couldn't help but laugh at his friend's attempt to get up. He gently pushed him down again, watching him sympathetically. "Dude, you died just a couple of days ago. Take it easy." He warned, going back and forth from the 'worried, caring friend' to 'the friend who found his buddy's pain beyond hilarious.' He shook Nate's hand, patted him on the shoulder and grinned. "It's good to see you too. I guess with you running an academy and all, we don't get that much time to visit."
Meanwhile, in the room across, Elizabeth was doing her best to answer the woman's questions. "Yes, it was Barret. Yes, I knew him. We were... friends, I guess. Obviously I didn't know him as well as I thought I did." She tried to joke lightly, but it came out pretty pathetic. Sighing, Lizzie slowly sat up and rubbed her temples. She dropped her hands in her lap and studied them before speaking. "I was in my home. It wasn't particularly late, I guess. I don't remember what time.. You'll have to forgive me, that night is a bit blurry. Barret came in through the front door, and since I thought it was someone breaking in, I freaked out a bit. When I found out who it was a had relaxed, and we talked a bit. He was acting so strange... Right before he... stabbed me... I got a glimpse at his memories." Elizabeth then looked up at Irene. "I can tell you their plans."

| The headmaster let out a stubborn huff, already sick of this cot he was stuck in and shooting a slight glare up at his friend, though he knew that Desken only meant well. It wasn't him. Nate was just a little pissed at himself at the moment, and that back-stabbing traitor as well, but he felt ashamed that he had let it comes to this. "I hate this." He groaned, pinching the bridge of his nose. He lightened up still, though he flinched a little when Des clasped him on the shoulder, it was kinda hard for him to be too upset right now. "Yeah, no kidding." He chuckled lightly, "So much fucking work... You'd love this job, I'm sure." Nathaniel joked, tilting his head a little and smirking. "To be honest, I didn't recognize you at first without that thing on your head." He mused.
Irene bit her lip, giving no other response to the girl's weak attempt at humor. "Oh -" She made a motion to help Elizabeth as she moved to sit up. Whether she felt fine or not, the woman wasn't sure that it was a good idea, but wasn't about to interrupt her. "What do you mean by strange?" She asked. Strange as in like... mad? Was Spion a mad-man. No, a mad-man wasn't this smart, but she was trying to look at this from every angle, here. Curiosity flashed in her green eyes, though, at Lizzie's last words. "Their plans...?" She repeated, clearly confused.
