Wandering..

A wolf pup with light grey fur wandered through the courtyard, trying to stay in the shadows cast by the evening sun. He had only been back at the academy for a few hours, but he figured it would be smart to stay hidden for awhile since what he did before was likely unforgotten. Montare stopping sneaking around after a few minutes, hoping onto a bench, thinking no one was around.

"Aw, what a cute little puppy!" A voice squealed from behind the bench. It was a newer girl on campus. She hadn't been there very long and already she wasn't shy to voice what she thought. Of course, she couldn't exactly determine if it was a legitimate puppy or if it was someone who could possibly shape shift. Granted, she hadn't seen anyone with that ability yet, so she was slightly questioning her sanity, but she still couldn't help it. He was cute!!

Montare turned to face the girl, slightly startled due to thinking no one else was around. He sat silent looking at the girl, deciding whether to tell her he was a student or act like a dog. "Uh..I'm just one of the students, not an actual dog.." he said somewhat awkwardly, not fully sure how to point out the fact. But hey, it was better to run into someone who didn't know him than someone who did.

Although it would have actually been expected for Penny to be surprised by a talking dog, she actually felt disappointed. She really hoped that it was a stray dog on campus. She would have been able to keep it with her. But no, he was just a shape shifter. Letting out a heavy sigh, she crossed her arms in front of her chest and shifted her weight over her right foot. "Well fine then. You just had to ruin my fun..." she pouted. She was sincerely disappointed. She had always wanted a puppy. Maybe now that she was in school away from home, she could get one. It stunk that her sister and father were allergic to dog hair. "So what are you doing walking around campus as a dog? Is the view better down there?"
