As she stood outside the door of the formal diner, a parasol was held out, black and pink, before the entrance. It was obvious she was looking and waiting for someone. As long as it was someone, she didn't really care as long as she knew them or seen them before. If it was her brother, she was hoping he got her text from before considering that they didn't wind up in the same house, but they were opposites, and winter basically represents death while spring represents life. And they were just like that in more ways than one. Letting out a small sigh, Lamia looked up and the small white particles in the sky fell down - snow. It's been like that for some time now, and it's been getting colder every moment she stood outside. Glancing around, the girl was shivering in the cold, and her skin was growing paler than it already was. Yet she refused to move from her position until someone came over that was familiar. She refused to leave or go inside even when offered. She might be skittish and such, but she it doesn't necessarily mean she can't be stubborn.

Kearn sneezed as he struggled his way over to the entrance. The cold wind of an upcoming blizzard early knocked him over in a snowbank. He shoved his hands in the coat pocket, and continued forward, ignoring the snowflakes that fell from the sky. His blue eyes looked up to see his sister, quickening his pace, Kearn gave her a small smile. "Come on, let's get inside before we freeze to death." He laughed and pushed open the restaurant door for her, beckoning her inside.

At the sight of him coming, she let out a sigh of relief and gave a small smile to him in return. "D-don't make m-me wait so long n-next time..." Lamia said softly in a teasing way, sort of, not really, and went through the door a few moments after it opened. It seemed awfully fancy in there with a lot of... people. She did want to go out to eat, but maybe the café would've been a better choice... Besides, with her money, she didn't think she could afford all of this. Not good... not good at all. What was she going to do since she asked him to come over to eat with her? She couldn't exactly ask him to help pay for the meal...

Kearn gave is sister a mock bow, and switched to a English accent. "I promise I won't my sister~" As his sister walked in, he quickly opened the next and final door, gesturing politely for her to continue forward. Once she was in the restaurant, Kearn continued forward to the booth where a boy a few years older then the two siblings, who looked at the younger male expectantly.

"Reservation for Tempo, please"

The older glanced between the two students, noting their similarities, before nodding. He pulled out two menus and lead the pair through the restaurant. The brown haired male gestured at a booth not too far from the entrance, a small polite smile on his face. Once they were seated, the host handed the twins each a menu. "Your server will be right with you."

Muttering something under her breath and a slight frown, Lamia then noted, "A-and... w-when... did you... s-start k-keeping... promises?" While she was slightly joking as she went right through, it did seem a bit interesting that they were just eating together all of a sudden. One moment here and the next moment there. Taking a look at the menu, the younger twin quietly scanned it, wondering what to order. She wasn't exactly picky, but she had her dislikes... Nothing seemed to pop at her to try, but, she still hadn't looked at all of them. Turning the pages every now and then, the girl looked up and gave a very slim shake of her head before tilting it a bit, a small signal she used when she was a bit confused or didn't know what to do. "..................?"

The boy froze for a moment at his sister's comment, then forced a sheepish smile. "We have a new start, why not start keeping them now?" He said quietly as the host lead them through the restaurant. When the host gestured to the table, Kearn slipped in across from his sister, pulling of his heavy winter coat to reveal a dark blue long sleeved shirt underneath. He placed it to his right, then he reached for a menu. Looking thoughtful, he skimmed though his menu, noting a few meals he might fall back to if there was nothing later in the menu that he liked. Only when he glanced up, did he realize that Lamia was confused on what to get.

He started to look for something for her to eat, skimming the page he was on, Kearn spotted one. "How about this, Lamia?" He flipped his menu around so the words faced her, pointing to a meal.

IC;; "And where did promises get me in life...?" the girl muttered darkly, not really thinking that this was actually the best time to bring up this conversation. Though, she was referring to multiple occurrences... It didn't matter when, almost each time, something had to happen with it. And by something, it was always some sort of unnatural event caused by her that meant bad luck and signs of disaster. It just did. She didn't want to dwindle on the thought for very long and when her twin brother asked her about the meal, it was just one of those times that he knew exactly what to do when she was to be happy - sweets.

Being a sweet tooth, it was just something like that that could make her a bit more jubilant and optimistic. "It's sweet, so of course...!" To be honest, if she was with Kearn alone, the Winter was just able to be more confident with speaking. He had supported her his whole life, so, it just was right to be able to confide in him more easily. It's one of those times she would be have the ability to not be so skittish and show more of who she actually was. Those very rare few occurrences.

Though, on to business. She had a reason for asking him to have dinner with her. While yes, it was kind of to have more family time, but, there was something else she had been meaning to ask. Since, it was just so important. Actually, now, it was back to not-so-self-confident Lamia. Her hands were trembling from how nervous she was to ask him with these questions, but, she needed to know. And now was the perfect time to ask... Was it...? Maybe she could delay it or something, but, by now... The Spring just always knew how to know when something was lingering in her mind and she had made it obvious by that point from her excessive glancing at the ground to avoid meeting his eyes and her feet shuffling softly under the table. Now, what could she be wanting to ask?
