A Piece of Art (Open)

On most days, after all the classes for that day were said and done, Zane Fenrir found himself working away in the the sculpting room, testing the limits of his abilities in the best ways that he could. That best way, at least in his mind was to spend this energy and time making various works of art, and he could produce so many successful ones in such an insane rate that if it were not for the fact that he was using his gift, it would be nigh impossible. The combination of high quality and short time left most others out of the race to compete with his level of skill. Although sometimes it was not best to use his gift so fluidly, the reason behind this is because he still feels rather large headaches following the creation of such works of art, it was the one penalty that he faced for the time being of crafting in such a fashion from what he could tell. During those headaches, he would be so lost in pain, could no operate the gift due to the level of focus that it requires for art. However he did not know what results may come if he attempted and was successful as he experienced a headache. It wasn't exactly something that he was looking forward to either, but he knew that eventually, he might just push himself to that point and what comes will come they say.

However for the time being, if someone were to enter the sculpting room they would find Zane working away with a small chisel upon a very interesting sculpture, one could instantly notice that it referred to something along the lines of the legend of the sword in the stone from a story of mid evil times. It was only the basic shape at the time being, for Zane only utilized his gift to get out the general details needed at most times, as such, he personally would put on the finishing touches. It was definitely a quiet afternoon for him as he appeared to be the only one present at the moment as he worked unless someone did a pretty good job at not getting noticed. He really didn't mind it for the time being as it allowed his sole focus to be upon his art. It would also be noted that he also had another small stone set up that he could dive into after this one, Zane wanted this to be a busy day to get what he wanted done, and it was very nice to have a large amount of supplies to accomplish this with. This was of course, how he was choosing to spend the time that he had free from his classes, it was definitively not in a way that most of the students picture it to be, but he didn't want to be one with the norm, he wanted to be unique.

Nebun had been walking for a few hours, enjoying the weather, trying to ignore other human beings the same way most people try to ignore rats and other vermin. They mostly seemed to ruin everything or get in your way. Just thinking of them made him sneer. Of course, not everybody was like that, just most.
Nebun found that his anti-social disposition did not extend to those who create though. He loved artists, finding them to be a one of the few groups of people he could connect to.
He preferred clay most of the time; people often told him that his art was dark, or even disturbing. It tended to be something strange or fantastic, which he then used texture to make it startlingly real. All these thoughts of sculpting reminded him of a flier he had seen earlier, proclaiming that the art studio was always open.
"Perfect." He says to himself, quickly heading that way and going inside. As soon as he got in he took a deep breath: clay, paint, paper, and all the other essentials of an art room. He quickly goes to work gathering materials before he even realized there was another rat, err, person in the art room with him.
At least he appeared to be a fellow artist.
Once Nebun had everything he goes to a table across from Zane and sets to work, using a small metal scoop to peel clay back, as though to reveal his own artwork, though it was clear at a glance that Zane was a master.
"That's really good." He says appreciatively, looking at the piece he was currently working on.
