A Chill in the Air

Montare turned back to face Emily again, seeing as she had calmed down. "Ah. Oh, uhm, could you stop calling me 'puppy'?" He blushed as he asked this.

She flashed him a smile. "Nahh, I've come to enjoy that nickname for you, since I don't know your name. And, you seem young, so you're like a little puppy. It fits." She extended her hand to him. "I'm Emily, by the way."

Montare shook her hand. "Montare." He looked at her, a smile on his face.

"So, how old are you, Puppy?" Emily asked him, leaning back on her elbows.

"Oh, fourteen." He grinned slightly. "I was paying enough attention to know you're seventeen."

Emily laughed. "I'm glad to know that you're capable to pay attention then, puppy. You're quite young."

"Well, thanks, I guess." He once again looked out at the lake. "So..." he said, not knowing how to continue.

"Tell me about your training." Emily said, her gaze on the waters.

Montare took a deep breath before beginning. "Well, since I'm the only one to have a wolf as my animal since the first person to even have the power on my father's side, my father and grandfather trained me. From hunting to sneaking and practically everyone else a wolf does, I'm probably more skilled than a real one, except I can't communicate with them at all."

Emily smirked, glancing at his tail. "Or control what wolfy parts of you show or not, apparently."

"Yeah, it grew by itself earlier..." He blushed as he said this. "Uhm, what's your power?"

"A form of telekinesis. Only, if I ever get it under control, I have the possibility to change the shape of objects too.." Emily informed him.

"Oh, that's cool," Montare said as he stood up. "Well, I'm going back to the dorms. Do you want to come with?" he asked.

Emily shook her head slightly, giving him a small smile. "No thank you. I'd rather stay here. Im not much of a people person." she told him.

At hearing this, he walked off towards the dorms.
