Today had been long. The teachers had been mean, the students had been judgmental, and Eloise had her ass handed to her in battle training. She needed to cool down, to forget about today and she knew one place she could do that.

Outside the General Store, the day was cool and a breeze rattled around Rosebury, demanding attention. While Eloise should have been cold, her body had been warmed by a liquid clutched tightly in her hands. She had grown up around alcohol, seeing as her mother had been an alcoholic and to her, alcohol had always seemed like a coping mechanism. Admittedly this idea had got her in a lot of trouble, apparently the school system of New York didn't like the idea of students carrying around a flask of rum. Whatever, this school was different. This whole place was different. Sure New York had it's fair share of freaks, but here people were like super-freaks. Here, the students were like one of those characters out of a cheesy comic book. So obviously the rules would be different, right?

The pastel haired girl took another long swing from the booze, the liquid burning as it made its way down her throat. By now her site was blurred and her speech almost inaudible, but Eloise was clearly in a better mood. And with this good mood came a "brilliant" idea. Eloise was going to go spray paint male genitalia on the football field, that would show those teachers what she really thought of them. Ha.

Thinking long and hard, Eloise willed a can of red spray paint into her free hand and attempted to stand up. The girl made it a few wobbly steps before toppling over a trashcan and falling on her butt. "Yooooou need to get out of my way Mr. Trashcan," Eloise said with disgust, pushing herself away from the smelly, plastic contraption. Only, the fall had caused her to drop the bottle of red spray paint and the cylinder was rolling down the street away from her. Pushing herself up, Eloise attempted a wobbly run over to catch the escaping can of paint.

ooc: Obviously I have never been drunk, so this is probably terrible. Oh well, idc.

It was rather cold, but considering Jacob had a jacket on, the temperature dip was mitigated by that factor. The Summer was heading home from Rosebury when something rolled down the street towards him with a distinctive rattling sound. Raising an eyebrow questionably at the object, he stopped and lifted his right foot up, letting the can roll closer before dropping his foot down and halting the object. Bending down and picking it up, he realized it was a can of red spray paint. Then he was able to notice something else as well: a girl unsteady by the General Store, which would explain the spray paint's existence.

Swiftly making his way over, he held the girl's arm and helped her right herself on her feet, the can of paint still held firmly in his grasp. "Did you drop this?" he asked with a smile, but then he noticed the other object in her hand, another familiar beverage that made him frown internally. Alcohol? Again? The last girl he had found had been drinking that particular elixir as well. Was there a pandemic on the campus or something? She certainly did seem inebriated, though not enough to be completely out of it. Would he have to help this girl back to her dormitory as well? Maybe he should start an escort service. Wait, why did she have a spray can in the first place?

Eloise bit her tongue as a means of concentration, the world around her had transformed into a scene of many objects all moving at once. She could feel her knees about to give out from under her when all of a sudden a hand steadied her and kept her upright. The pastel-haired girl looked over and blinked a few times. The face was surely unfamiliar and judging by his body language she guessed he was judging her on her decisions. Whatever, some people were just prudes anyway.

"Hey that's mine-" Eloise said in an angry tone grabbing at the can of spray paint. However, being intoxicated had led the girl's senses to be slightly off and she instead grabbed the boy's arm. "Gimme' the paint asshole." Ugh, did she seriously have to go through this? All she wanted was to spray a few male genitals, finish her drink, and call it a night. She made another grab at the paint and this time it was successful. Once she had it grasped firmly in her hands, Eloise started wobbling down the street again. In fact, she was nearly to the football field when she made another wipe out, this time dropping the booze. It shattered as soon as it hit the ground and a stream of the toxin ran down the walkway in streams. The girl was a mess.

Jacob was surprised at how angry a tone the girl adopted when he merely picked up the spray paint can for her, but she must have been intoxicated enough to believe he was trying to steal the artifact. Sighing softly, he figured that it must be a trend for underage girls here to drink the sauce. In her inebriated state, the girl tried and failed to obtain the spray paint, instead grabbing his arm by mistake. Finally, she grabbed the paint can and toddled away, ending up wiping out and smashing the bottle on the ground. Rolling his eyes, he hurried after her and helped her once again to her feet. "Hey, you should be more careful. I was just going to hand it back to you."
