Mistakes and headaches

Logan moaned softly as he laid across the couch, his hand covering his face. His head was pounding, but that was completely his fault. He had grown bored and finding the lounge empty, he had tried to work on his powers while he was alone. Of course, one downside of his gift was that it required other people around as it effected their brains and such. Trying to work on it alone had been a bad idea as he had pushed himself a bit to hard and ended up fainting. He had awaken since then and was happy to see that nobody had stumbled across him, but now his head hurt and it wouldn't go away. Perhaps just the peace and quite would help, but who knows how long it would be until somebody stumbled into here.

A young woman walked into the lounge, stretching her arms and letting out a loud yawn. With a quick, lazy glance around, he hadn't noticed that anyone else was in the room until she had went to and sprawl across the couch herself, nearly falling back on the boy who already lay there. "Woah, okay -" Brailynn caught herself at the last second, turning around to look down at him. She bent over and poked at his arm, "Hey, are you awake? ... Or alive?"

Logan blinked open his eyes as he removed his hand from his face, glancing at the girl that loomed him; unaware of how close he was to being sat on. "Uh, howdy," he said with a soft grin, before hauling himself up so he was sitting, smiling weakly. "Sorry 'bout that; got a headache so I was just relaxing, but I suppose I'm good for now." He paused a bit, before holding his hand out for a handshake. "My name is Logan, how about you, miss?"

She could help but raise an eyebrow. Was that an accent she heard? This guy didn't seem like the type to come from the deep south, or was he just messing with her? "It's alright, happens all the time here." She shrugged, knowing it was probably from using his power. The spring could think of little othe reason. "Brailynn." She said, shaking his hand back. "Mind scooting over?" The blonde asked with a smile.

"Ah, of course miss." As he scooted over to make room, his gaze flickered back to Brailynn, noting that she looked to be a bit older then him, but that didn't really surprise him; he was on the younger side of the students of Beata. "So, ah..." he started, trying to decide what to say. Part of him wanted to ask what her power was, but he knew that some students didn't like their powers all that much; himself included. After all, what good could come from being able to make people faint with your mind? However, a question did come to his mind, a simple one at that. "What house are you apart of?"

Occ: Man, this is going to be a slightly awkward topic. Or, maybe, very awkward. Who knows?
