The Third Annual Winter Formal - Page 2 Empty
PostSubject: Re: The Third Annual Winter Formal   The Third Annual Winter Formal - Page 2 EmptySat Dec 12, 2015 7:53 pm

Devin stepped into the grand hall with a nervous clear of his throat, glancing at the few students that had already arrived. His wings shifted on his back as his tail flickered, pausing to fix his bow tie that had become slightly lopsided on the trek here. Wearing a white shirt with a black tuxedo over it, it looked rather fancy - even if it had the silly two cuts in the back for his wings and he had his cross necklace poking out form under the bow tie. His green eyes scanned the room, his heart dropping slightly when he realized that Aleta had not arrived yet.  He saw Leo with a pink-haired girl he recognized as Keirsta - mostly from how Leo had described her a few times while they were hanging out.

Stuffing his hands into his pocket, he strolled over toward the punch bowl as he hoped not to be seen by Leo. He wasn't sure if Leo was aware that he was taking his sister to the dance, and he thought it would be awkward to find out during the dance of all As he headed toward the bowl, he spotted Barry taking a drink. Surprised to see his friend there as he wasn't expecting his roommate to be at the dance, he did his best to keep his distance as he waited for him to finish. However, when Barry noted the punch as tasting funny, he decided against getting a drink and simply watched as Barry wandered off as he waited for Aleta to arrive.

Brant however, was very excited. He happily strolled into the grand hall as he glanced around in search of the beautiful person that was Destiny. A frown flashed onto his face when he saw that she was not there, but he wouldn't get him down! After all, there was only a handful of people here. He recognized a few of them here and there, but there was a few people he couldn't put a name to. Ah, whatever. His eyes widen slightly as spotted Devin standing by the punch bowl, rather surprised by the kid being there. Oh, and the wings. He was surprised by the wings as well. He made his way over, a sly grin on his face. "What are you doing here, Devin?" he asked.

Devin jumped as he turned to see Brant strolling up to him - wearing almost a matching outfit other then his bowtie and shirt were red. "O-Oh, hey Brant," he said, doing his best to give the older student a smile. "Haven't seen you since Alaska. How are you and Destiny doing?"

"Good, waiting for her to arrive. How about you, here by yourself or waiting for someone?"

"...I asked Aleta, Leo's sister," Devin responded in a soft tone.

Brant blinked wondering how he should respond to that before pausing as he glanced at the punch. "You gonna get a drink?"

He shook his head, sparing a glance toward the bowl. "My friend Barry think it taste funky so I am not sure if I want any..."

Taste funky? It took a few moments for Brant to remember what he had heard about all of the other formals before a soft smile of pure amusement flickered onto his face. "Ah...Yeah, you should stay away from it then." He patted Devin's back before he glanced toward the door of the hall. "I'm going to wait for Destiny, you have a good night, alright?" And with that, he wandered back toward the door.

Occ: My characters shall not partake in the punch!...Well, maybe Brant will if he gets bored. But Devin is gonna be a good character.

The Third Annual Winter Formal - Page 2 Empty
PostSubject: Re: The Third Annual Winter Formal   The Third Annual Winter Formal - Page 2 EmptySat Dec 12, 2015 9:33 pm

A protest was at the tip of his tongue, mouth open to disagree with her getting the drinks. He was supposed to be the one doing the work, not her. But Keirsta was already half way to the bowls, so his mouth closed shut. While she was getting the drinks, Leo adjusted his tie. They were never comfortable to him, it was like a noose around your neck. No point in wearing them. However, he wore it away ways. Besides, if he didn't, Keirsta would make him go put one on, and Leo decided to spare himself that trip and just wear it. It would be only for a few hours. A few, uncomfortable hours.

Blue eyes looked up from his jacket to see Keirsta hand him a cup of punch. He grinned back at her, gratefully taking it from her. "Thank you~" Without a bit of hesitation, he downed half of the cup. His reaction could easily be considered hilarious. His head jerked back away from the cup, a wince on his face. It didn't taste...bad. Per say. "That...was some strong drink." The blond murmured to himself. Slowly, he finished the rest of the cup.

"It doesn't taste bad, but I just wasn't expecting it to..." He trailed off, considering his words, lips pursed as he thought. Leo froze, before a giant smile crossed his lips. "Pack a punch." HAHAHAHA end my suffering

The Third Annual Winter Formal - Page 2 Empty
PostSubject: Re: The Third Annual Winter Formal   The Third Annual Winter Formal - Page 2 EmptySat Dec 12, 2015 10:03 pm

There were a few different people waiting outside of the dance.

Amongst them, one of the first to arrive, was Preston. He had to been one of the most casual looking there. Whilst most were standing stiffly around in freshly-ironed blazers and looking around nervously for their dates, he was leaning against the wall in a dark vest, sleeves rolled up his forearms, and wearing a small flower pin in his chest that he'd had his date pick out for him. Of course, although he looked more casual others, he'd made sure not to show up like a mess. Every bit of his outfit was brain new, shiny, and straight, and he'd even went to the trouble to spray on a little cologne and comb his hair neatly.

Of course, he had to keep up appearances, seeing as he'd somehow found his way into the ballot for the Formal King. He supposed it was only fair. His sister had won Queen twice over now, and his brother had been nominated King last year. His turn had to come up sooner or later. Either way, he knew he'd had to dance in front of the crowd at least once, hopefully with his date in hand.

... Where was she, anyways? It was slightly troublesome. He wasn't allowed to go to the spring dorms to pick her up, so he had to wait in the hall. Hopefully not too much longer.

Some several meters off, another young man waited, stuck in the same situation as the other. His formal date lived in the Autumn dorms, and as he was a Summer, the poor guy had no means to get to her - so he had to wait for her outside the Grand Hall. "How can people get used to wearing these things?" He pulled lightly on his tie, thinking it way too tight for his tastes. They were a part of the uniform as well, be Liam had almost always just chosen to ditch it all together, so long as no teacher said anything. Tonight, he figured he could at least try to put up with it for as long as he could - for Maisie's sake, anyways.

It was probably stupid, or more than likely extremely stupid, but hell... He'd even stop by the conservatory before hand to pick her out a flower. Girls like her liked flowers, didn't they? Then again, most girls like her weren't almost killed by plant-controlling maniacs. The red-head stared down at the rose in his hands, wondering how the hell he didn't think that one through, and instantly engulfed the flower in flames - tossing it behind him on the tile and letting it sizzle out. He stuffed his hands in his pockets and went back to waiting.

There were others waiting inside, of course.

Amongst them was Brailynn, with a short, flowy dress that she'd imagined... Well, she thought it would look far better on her when she'd originally picked it out. It was a warm golden color that sparkled and made her skin glow, and she loved it. But at the same time, it was a little... revealing, compared to others. It had clear bands that held it up, the rest clung closely to her skin, hugging each curve of hers and detailing the muscles of her hard body. It was such a ... well, girly dress, and she didn't have the softest, girliest sort of body.

Normally, that was something she was proud of, but this was totally different. She couldn't help but glance around nervously while she waited, keeping her eye out for a certain guardian.

Alicia, however, had been there for hours, helping put on the finishing touches for the evening and was resting at a table near the entrance to the room. She was thankfully already in her gown. It was long, flowing with several different cool colors; blues and greens and purples, and decorated with pretty silver and diamonds, to match her jewelry. She thought she looked pretty enough, but she was afraid that she'd stand out too much, or maybe too little? Although she supposed it was better to be overlooked than stand out completely, like others... some people hadn't even bothered to dress up at all!

Even so, she felt a bit anxious, looking around the room for her evening companion, Grace... Wherever she was...

The Third Annual Winter Formal - Page 2 Empty
PostSubject: Re: The Third Annual Winter Formal   The Third Annual Winter Formal - Page 2 EmptySat Dec 12, 2015 10:53 pm

This was always the most interesting part of the semester. In some ways, it didn't even feel like Richard graduated. Here he was all dressed up in a typical tux standing off to the side like he'd done the past few years watching everyone awkwardly stand around and talk while hovering over the punch like a bunch of flies. He didn't even have to drink it to tell that it was... suspicious. In some ways, Richard felt like he should report it, but he didn't want to be that guy. Besides, it's been going on every single year he's been here. If teachers wanted to stop it, you'd think they would stop serving punch.. So, the guardian let it be. It was weird having to be the one to enforce the rules-- not that he ever broke them as a student, but the fact that he could actually enforce them and got paid for it was very weird.

With a soft sigh, Richard stuck his hands in his pockets as he shifted his weight from side to side, looking around at all of the familiar and not-so-familiar faces. However, it didn't take very long for his eyes to land on Brailynn as she walked in the door. He froze for a moment, blatantly staring at her and how gorgeous she looked in a dress he really didn't expect she'd ever wear. The look completely caught him off guard but in a really good way. It was a look he didn't know he needed to see. Okay maybe not that far. That's a little creepy. But she looked good. No doubt about that.

When he finally snapped back to reality after gawking at Lynn for a good minute or so, his heart began to race again. Just like the other day in the conservatory before they got caught. As a big smile creeped onto his face, Richard quickly made his way through the crowd, not even bothering pushing past people-- he just simply phased through them.. probably freaking out a bunch of people in the process, but he made it to Lynn.

"Hey," Richard said as he approached the spring. "You look... stunning! Gorgeous!" He laughed awkwardly as his cheeks turned pink.

Barry turned to face the voice that said said his name and he saw Cassandra. His jaw nearly dropped. "Wow.." he managed, "You look beautiful, Cass." he couldn't keep his eyes off of her. He walked closer to her. Her eyes sparkled and he smiled brightly. Everything about her was amazing. "How do you think I look?" he asked her.

The Third Annual Winter Formal - Page 2 Empty
PostSubject: Re: The Third Annual Winter Formal   The Third Annual Winter Formal - Page 2 EmptySun Dec 13, 2015 10:08 am

Keira never imagined she would be going to something like this. She wasn't much a of a people person, but when Griffin had asked, she was happy to say yes. The boy was pretty friendly, and their common love of plants made them good friends. At least that's how Keira thought of it. She hoped that the boy wasn't waiting on her too long.. She knew he didn't like the cold.

The winter girl decided to wear a navy blue dress with a single strap. The strap had fabric flowers on it. A band of different sparkly beads, and jewels stretched across her waist. And after that the dress was nice and flowy. She didn't really care for anything form fitting. As for her hair was done into a braid, that hung over her shoulder. In her braid were a few tiny flowers meant as decoration. There weren't to many though. It was just a small thing. And of course she had her usual flower hair pin in her hair. She wouldn't go anywhere without that.

A smile appeared on Keira's face when she noticed Griffin standing outside waiting on her. She would have worn a sweater or something due to the cold, but her gift warmed up her blood, keeping her warm. "You look nice, Griffin." She said as she approached him. Her tone was soft and sweet.

Destiny walked into the building kind of excited to see what Brant had worn. Of course the necormancer herself had to wear a black dress. It was only fitting for her to do so. The top of the dress a bit form fitting, slightly showing of her chest. The top also had silver beads arranged into a pattern adding to the elegance of the dress. Her favorite part about the top though was the fact that the sleeves sat just below her shoulders instead of on top of her shoulders. The bottom part of the dress was long and would have touched the ground if it wasn't for the shoes she was wearing. Her long white hair was neatly done up in a fancy bun, with to strands that were curled hung off the side of her face. At the base of the bun sat a little skull pin. Yeah she had too.

When she walked inside she immediately noticed her boyfriend standing near, and waiting on her. Her hands were neatly folding in front of her, and a wide smile was on her face. "There is my adorable fire breather." She said to him as she walked over to him.

Despite it being cold the Spring girl fought through it. As she walked along toward the building her dress flowing greatly behind her. Her dress was a soft pink color, with dark pink flowers, and other plants going down the sides of it. At her waist was a solid color band of the soft pink base color. The top part of the dress basically bunched together fabric of the soft pink, and the flowers, and plants. It had a 'v' cut in the top to show of her chest, which she knew her date would like. Her hair was kind of too short to do anything with, but it didn't stop her from doing something with it. Her hair was parted off to the side. A soft pink bow holding off the side that had more hair. That was all she did with it.

Finally she reached the building seeing her date waiting on her. His outfit was something she expected, and he was wearing the flower she picked out. A soft smile made it's way onto her face, and she walked over to him. "Nice outfit, handsome." She couldn't help but look at all of him, taking in the details of his outfit and what he looked like. She was going to have to draw this later. "That's nice looking flower too."

The Third Annual Winter Formal - Page 2 Empty
PostSubject: Re: The Third Annual Winter Formal   The Third Annual Winter Formal - Page 2 EmptySun Dec 13, 2015 11:02 am

Jillian walked quickly into the hall, her hand still holding Sean's wrist tightly. She had dragged him down by the wrist from his dorm room; he wasn't planning on going originally, but a sweet smile and forceful yank had more or less convinced him to come with her. She stopped when she entered and stared at the incredibly decorated room. It was beautiful and Jillian couldn't take her golden eyes away.
After a few moments of staring in breathless wonder at the impeccably decorated grand hallway, her eyes scanned the room, looking for something to do. There were a few students conversing with each other and exploring. Her eyes landed on the table full of food and punch. Jillian lit up, she hadn't eaten in a while and decided she better make sure her hunger didn't creep up on her later.
"Let's go, Sean!" She turned to him momentarily, meeting his gorgeous blue eyes for a second before pulling him over to the table. The ruffled organza layers on the bottom of her dress flounced gracefully and the silver embroidered design on the bodice twinkled in the light as she half-skipped to the table with Sean in tow.
She looked over the array of foods and began to choose small hors d'oeuvres and eat them one at a time. Jillian let go of Sean's wrist as she did so. After eating and hors d'oeuvre with a rather dry cracker, she place her hand over her mouth and said to Sean through a mouthful of dry crumbs:
"Can you get me some punch?" She then proceeded to laugh a little at her own muffled statement. She watched his handsome face closely and smiled to herself, her eyes lit with delight at the fact she had managed to get him to come with her.

The cold air pecked at Sean's nose as they made their way to the grand hall entrance. Snowflakes danced in the air lightly blanketing the floor. Sean didn't want to go to the formal, but it didn't seem like he had a choice when Jillian forced him to buy a suit and later ripped him off the comfy couch in his dorm room. The blond made a complaining sigh as they approached the door, he tried to remove his wrist from her tight grip, but she wouldn't let go.

They entered together and both of their eyes were directed towards the magnificent decorations that certainly fitted the winter season. Sean's blue eyes scanned the gorgeous room already filled with student. His attention was pulled towards Jillian who was still admiring the room, her beautiful blue dress flowed around her. He was about to comment on how pretty she looked until he felt another tug against his wrist, catching him off guard. He eventually regained his footing and arrived at the punch table.

As soon as Jillian let go of Sean's wrist he pulled his arm in close to his chest, relieved she actually gave him his arm back not having to be towed everywhere. A small smile appeared on his face as he watched her snatch up the small appetizer foods. The blond slowly made his way towards the punch bowl at Jillian's request, he poured the red punch into a single cup handing it to Jillian as she finished up her cracker. He was a bit thirsty, but decided it would be best to avoid the punch so he wouldn't spill any on his suit. His blue eyes slowly made their way back towards Jillian as she gulped the punch down, "You look gorgeous tonight, Jillian." he said while returning to her side.

--

Connor rushed down to the grand hall trying to avoid each gust of cold wind that pushed up against him. 'Winter is horrid.' He never did like winter and the cold air that it provided. Connor was excited for the amazing night to come, he heared the decorations were going to be absolutely jaw dropping. He made his way towards the door and propped himself up against the frame waiting for his date, Lady, to arrive.

Barry let out a short laugh when the Summer girl almost called him beautiful but felt his ears get hot and he knew they were turning red. "Thank you." he said smiling, noticing the redness in her face and ears. He ran his hand through his hair, a habit he had since he was 12. "How do they get it to snow in here like that?" he asked her, looking back up at the ceiling, "It looks really cool." He felt extremely nervous, and hoped wouldn't mess things up.

Maisie had never been one to wear dresses. It seemed unnatural to her, and she wasn't sure if the one she had picked was good enough, or normal enough, or whatever. She regretted saying yes to Ginger, but his request was a passing question in the hall, one that was so nonchalant and quick that she couldn't think about it. Yes. She was surprised he even remembered her.

Walking down the staircase of her dorms was a bitch, the wobbliness of her feet with each step impossible to overcome. It was even harder to do this surreptitiously, without anyone she knew seeing her, though the futility of this lingered in the back of her mind. This was a formal. Everyone was going to be there anyway. A stumble-and-curse later, she made her way out into the cold Dakota air, heart fluttering in miserable embarrassment. The crowd outside of the Grand Hall had gained, a flurry of nervous faces waiting for their dates, like snow in the winter evening. She joined them, looking around for Liam.

The Third Annual Winter Formal - Page 2 Empty
PostSubject: Re: The Third Annual Winter Formal   The Third Annual Winter Formal - Page 2 EmptySun Dec 13, 2015 5:10 pm

Keirsta watched with a slight worry as Leo downed the punch. She had no idea how he was drunk, or what type of drunk he was, and so the fact that he downed it that fast would be worrying. I'm going to have to deal with my boyfriend most likely uber drunk, while I'm going to be acting practically sober... And he's been voted for royalty. Shit. The thoughts raced on in her head as she delicately sipped her own punch, rolling it around in her mouth to detect the sweet, bitter alcohol that laced the drink.

Watching him wince and yank the cup away from himself brought a look of even more worry to her face. It made her want to wrap an arm around him and ask if everything was okay, but his explanation afterwards told her that it wouldn't exactly be needed. Taking the Styrofoam cup from Leo, she put it within her own empty cup.

"If you want more, there's plenty of cups over there, but I'm going to go ahead and throw these away." Or rather, levitate them to the trashcan.

The blue cups were surrounded in that blue aura of light that illuminated the otherwise dimly lit area, and as they were moved to the trashcan, the blue aura stayed attached like an extendable leash. It was always fun watching her gift take shape in simple forms, such as using the light to maneuver objects in various ways. Giggling softly like a schoolgirl who had gotten candy at the satisfying plunk the cups made, she turned back to her boyfriend upon hearing his pun.

Narrowing her eyes, she crossed her arms in dismay. Swinging a fist at his shoulder, she watched him take a step backwards. Most likely, that was because she had enhanced the punch with her gift.

"I can pack a punch myself..." Her voice was low as she muttered, shaking her head and recalling the rather cheesy pun.

Looking around, she tried to spot Leo's sister. She had been asked to decorate her hair in light of the occasion, and Keirsta thought she had done the task well. Aleta had refused to tell her whom she was going to the formal with, and she was just fine with that. She'd find out soon enough, and most likely get a little giggle out of it. Pushing those thoughts aside, she had also been the only one to her knowledge to see what Aleta was wearing to the formal. Turning towards her boyfriend, she bit the inside of her lip.

"Hey Leo, have you seen Aleta? I want to see who it was whom asked her out to the Formal..." She hoped he knew at least a little bit about that, because the last thing she wanted was an over-dramatic boyfriend leaping at the bit to punch the guy whom asked out his sister. Well, not really asked out... Asked to dance, per say.

Myles Shrugged "Well, I'm flat broke, and figured a dance meant free alcohol and food." He took another gander at the small crowd amassing before looking back and saying "and it seems that one of my wishes was granted at least." When he had looked around he felt almost like he was on another island with this girl, like they were shunned because of their choice of attire. He had already gotten weird looks upon entering the school, which was fine, he was dressed like a good old boy after all. But now the looks turned dirty and like they were above him because they spent money on stuff that would probably be worn only on occasions like this. It was all so pretentious but oh well."And now I have another reason, misery loves company and if I'm gonna be stuck getting dirty looks and having people turn their backs ta me, at least I actually have someone to talk to. Really shows you a guy's true attitude when you stand out, ya know?" He offered another slow shrug, pursing his lips.

The Third Annual Winter Formal - Page 2 Empty
PostSubject: Re: The Third Annual Winter Formal   The Third Annual Winter Formal - Page 2 EmptySun Dec 13, 2015 6:26 pm

All she had to hear was dance, and dresses and she was in.

Though Stephanie was only an initiate, the dance was open to everyone and she was intent on going. Not knowing anyone well enough to ask them to join her, the little girl ran to the one person she knew couldn't refuse her.

She could tell he was reluctant to take his sister to the formal, let alone go at all, but she flashed him a cute smile and he was hers. Though she hated blackmail and anything of the sorts, she knew she couldn't attend alone, and her only option was the older blond. But it would be fun, right? Maybe she could meet a cute boy and dance the night away. Who knew, maybe even Cayden could lighten up and dance with someone?

The initiate shuffled down the halls, hopping on one foot at a time so she could pop into her low heels. She could feel her dress ride up as she nearly sprinted down the hall, not caring if her hair fell out of the loose bun she had put it in. She wasn't a fan of running in heels, but she couldn't make her brother wait much longer. A string of lights lead the way to the Grand Hall, where as she approached she spotted her brother's form. A smile appeared on her face as she looked him over. He decided to comb back his unruly hair, his suit was a pristine navy blue that complimented his form nicely, and he didn't seem overly annoyed to be there.

She wore a matching navy blue lace dress with sleeves just past her elbow. Her hair had fallen down at some point in her run, but it still held it's wave. Her shoes were a solid black with a small heel, enough to add some height but low enough to dance in. Steph shifted her dress, hoping he would approve of it. It was conservative after all.

The Third Annual Winter Formal - Page 2 Empty
PostSubject: Re: The Third Annual Winter Formal   The Third Annual Winter Formal - Page 2 EmptySun Dec 13, 2015 7:30 pm

The Spring girl hadn't even noticed the Guardian walk up to her, it was the small scream of some freaked out nearby student made her turn her head. She'd hardly even noticed whom it was who was freaked, funny and stupid as it was, she could only see Richard walking up to her - his face already flushed red. She couldn't help smiling, her grin mirroring his own. Of course, it wasn't exactly the first time the two of them had attended the formal together, but it was clear... This time was different, so completely different.

"In this old thing?" Brailynn asked back teasingly. She still felt rather self-conscious, but she still did a little twirl for him on the tips of her heels. "Why, thank you." She glanced up at him. He looked so... "Handsome." The girl paused, realizing her thoughts left her hanging with that single word. "I mean, you look handsome, erm... Very handsome." Smooth.

__

Perhaps it was cheating of some sorts that he had already seen his date in her evening gown, but even still, he couldn't help but think she looked even lovelier than he had remembered. Even if it had only been a week or so before, maybe it was the lighting? Or she did something with her hair, or make-up? Whatever it was, he couldn't say he didn't love it. "Why thank you," Preston laughed a little under his breath, fiddling with his flower. It was a soft pink, the same as her dress. "You're looking quite beautiful yourself." Like a Queen.

Pres offered her his arm like a proper gentlemen, of course. "I think I'm ready to show you off to the world." He said teasingly with a smile. "Would you care for a dance?" Once she was ready, he all-too happily led her inside the ball-like room.

__

He had seen her before she'd seen him. It'd been rather amusing, watching her wobble into the hallway, shaking as if she were balancing on three foot stilts rather than a few inch heels. But like hell he was one to judge, he supposed, walking over to greet her - and help her before she fell flat on her face. "I doubt you'll survive a single song at this rate." Liam called, offering her a hand to hold onto with a small smirk. "But I'm glad to see you've made it this far." He had to admit, although the shoes didn't seem to fit, the dress was a different story. It was short, with a soft fabric and light lace that fit her figure, and a bright yellow that matched her complexion quite well.

If the Summer were completely honest, even though he'd asked her out on little more than a whim, he was still pleasantly surprised that she'd actually said yes. Now all he had to do was to make sure that the evening wouldn't turn out completely miserably for her. After the mess with the system router, he figured she deserved that much, and admittedly - he did want to get to know her a little better.

The Third Annual Winter Formal - Page 2 Empty

Laughter escaped Leo as her eyes narrowed at him. Leo did not regret his pun at all, in fact..."You could say that my pun had a-" The blond staggered backward at Keirsta's punch, his laughter only growing. "-punch line." Before she could respond, Leo took a few more steps back away from her. Keeping his distance to make sure that he was not punched again. Not because her punch hurt- Although it did- but because he didn't have another punch pun in store. It would be a shame, he was on a streak.

His eyes widened in shock. "Wait, she's coming to the formal?" Leo asked, taking a step closer to Keirsta. "She didn't tell me! Is she actually coming out of her dorm? Who asked her,Do I know them,Should I be worried? Shouldibeconsernedisshewearinganythingtooadultforher" His questions spilled out of his mouth faster than Keirsta could most likely understand. It was obvious that Leo was worried. Who would ask Aleta out?

While Leo was fretting to his girlfriend, Aleta had entered. Her dark hair pulled up into an updo- thanks to Keirsta- and a pink lace dress with a tan stain sash that was placed at her waist. Past the sash, the dress flowed outward. Now, she normally wore dresses and the like. But with her hair up and a bit of makeup, she felt like a different person. Honestly, Aleta wasn't sure that she liked it yet.

The cold crisp air led her to hurry down to the Grand Hall. She didn't want to spend that long in the cold northern air. Especially with dresses this short. Once she was inside, Aleta had to take a moment to appreciate the decorations. It was beautiful. A gentle smile crossed her lips as she took a few steps in, eyes wondering around the room. The first person she spotted was her brother, who had a worried look on his face. Next was Devin. Her date for the night. Well, of course as friends. It wasn't as if they were actually- She stopped her thought there.

Deciding to talk to Devin first, she greeting him with a small wave and a greeting. "You great, Devin." Her hands were behind her back and she held a cheery smile on her face.

Blue eyes looked back at his date, smile blossoming onto his face. Straightening his back, Griffin held out a hand for her to take. "You look even better." He told her, eyes meeting hers. If he had to choose one thing about her outfit, it would definitely be the flowers. They looked great on her. "Shall we go in?"
