In Comes Grant

"Almost as beautiful as you." he said. He needed to say it, it was the perfect time. It was pretty weird to say, but he was trying to be weird. He didn't want her to hang around him, if he started acting weird, she might leave. "So, what's next?" He couldn't believe he said that. He didn't know how to feel about saying that really.

Roxie paused for a few seconds, blushing as she glanced at Grant with slightly wide eyes. Did he seriously just say that? It was rather sweet, but she hadn't been expecting that at all. However, she quickly shook it away (although she was still blushing a bit) as she glanced around the hallway. Right, what was next? "Over there is the gym," she said as she started walking again, a bit surprised that he had just carried on like he hadn't just said that...So she decided she was going to do the same until he brought it up again. She really did like him, but she just hadn't seen that coming seeing how they had just met and he had just tried so hard to not see her again.

He was actually happy about how she reacted. He just thought that it was something to say. He didn't want to say it again, he was too embarrassed. He was proud of himself though. He didn't think he could do it. His favorite part of this day so far, was her fighting for them to be friends. He didn't want to ruin whatever type of friendship they had, if they had any. Being alone meant you had so much time, especially since after the third kid, his mother finally decided to home school him. He usually finished his work, and had the rest of the day to watch movies and tv. He knew that something like what he was hinting at would break their not very strong friendship. In the end, he just decided to stop talking for the rest of the tour.
