Round 2: Hosa Corvina vs. Destiny Williams

Quickly the armless skeleton moved and pushed the staff away from Destiny, and the other quickly went and picked it up. Two armed, one armless. Destiny glared at the bird in the sky. There was nothing she could do about her at a distance. With anger she spat at the ground then yelled up at Hosa, "Come down and fight me you Bitch!" She gave off a growl soon after, she ignored the pain she was feeling right now. All she cared about was ending this battle.

Well, that didn't work. Hosa was trying to figure out what to do when Destiny shouted up at her. She raised an eyebrow, letting out a few hoots that could be said to be a chuckle. "I could, but I rather like it up here," she called down, kinda wishing she could speak in her forms. However, Destiny did have a point. Not the whole 'bitch' thing but this hadn't been much of a fight. Of course, with the two skeletons...It seemed to be a rather unfair fight for Hosa.

If she went down there, she would lose. She knew that. She had hoped that she could win somehow by staying in the air but...No, she doubt there was much to change it. She was pretty sure she was going to lose. She had said she was going to go out fighting, so why was she hiding in the sky? But...What could she do against somebody who could drain her energy with a touch? If she wanted any chance of winning, she had to try to knock her out in one hit. The only chance she had would be a painful one...But it might work. She was going to try to crush Destiny after all.

She dove toward Destiny for what could be for the very last time, her eyes narrowing as she tried to come up with a form. A big animal, she needed a big animal of some sort. The bone weapon would hurt, but if she picked something with thick skin maybe she could survive...Her eyes lit up, picking her form. It was a big animal; in fact it was the biggest animal. Hosa had always had trouble turning into large animals and this one...This would be the true test. It was now or never. She took a deep breath as she almost reached Destiny as she threw her claws out, making it look like she was going for another swipe before letting her body shift. A second later, a large shadow fell across the snowy landscape as Hosa turned into a humongous fin whale. Not exactly what she was going for, as Hosa had been going for a blue whale but it would still work.

Destiny prepared for another attack but once she saw Hosa go for directly above her she knew something was up. She quickly tried to move away but she looked up to see a whale coming for her. She felt her skeletons pick her up and toss her out of the way only to be slammed into the ground again by Hosa's fin. Destiny gasped for air, and quickly tried to control her breathing. The cold snow made her shiver but she moved towards the closest thing she could touch and tried using her power again.

The sound of bone cracking filled Hosa's ears as she stuck the ground, throwing snow up around her. As she laid there for a few seconds, stunned by the pain of hitting the ground as hard as she did, she became aware that the illusion was still up around her. Nothing had changed. Damn it, she hadn't hit Destiny...Or, had she? She became aware of what felt to be something hard under one of her fins, and then the moment her energy started to be drained she knew she had indeed hit Destiny.

She reacted quickly to the energy draining, not even completely in control of it as she quickly tried to think of animal; any animal to transform to that would break the contact but would remain warm in this chilly weather. She soon found herself in a new form; that of a snow leopard. Now lying in the icy field, she felt the snow brushing against her spotted fur but thanks to the warmth of her coat, it bothered her little. She slowly tried to push herself upwards to make her way to Destiny, however, she found herself to weary.

She had used most of her energy in that last ditched effort to win the battle, and then adding on the drained energy that Destiny had taken...She had just lot to much. She was able to sit herself up, where she glanced across the snowy field to look at Destiny. Wrapping her tail across her paws, she huffed as she let out a soft hiss. "Make...Your move," she growled softly, flicking her ears. If Destiny moved toward her; she was going to fight back. She was just a bit to tired to try to cross the field to go to Destiny herself. But no way was Hosa saying this over. As soon as she got enough energy to head over there; she would. That would...Just take a while.

Destiny tried to stand to get over to the snow leopard across from her but the pain in her head seared through her. She collapsed into the snow again glad she normally wore long clothes. She glared at Hosa across the way, "Be glad I can't move. She growled out, hatred laced in her voice. She brought her knees to her chest keeping in her body warmth, and she held her head but keeping her red eyes open to keep an eye on her opponent.
