| Your stage is a very mountainous one. You're at a very high altitude with harsh winds and steep cliffs. Both of you may post once to ready yourselves before the fight begins. | |

| Ken huffed as he examined the area around him. Geeze, was there wind everywhere on this island? So far, it's been windy for both his first match and now this one, except Round Two had some mountains along with it. Instantly, the thought of transforming to help traverse the mountains easier seemed to be an obvious choice, but he didn't know his opponent yet, and may be better off just using his weapons in his human form. Besides, it seemed that relying on his gift so much could be troublesome. Good thing he was pretty decent with his dual-blades, if he did say so himself. Which he didn't. Because these are his thoughts. Get out of Ken's head. | |

| "Dammit!" Regina exclaimed as she was busy tying down her long, bright orange hair to keep it from being swept away by the wind. After much huffing-and-puffing the girl added one last clip to hold back her bangs and smiled triumphantly to herself. Her accomplished expression quickly dropped though as the reason for her toil was brought back to her attention. The girl shielded her eyes from the harsh gusts as she squinted to try and spot her opponent. Then she spotted him, and it took her a minute more to recognize him. "Ken?" she called out to him, her tone laced with confusion and a hint of sadness. This was Sebastian's friend, the same one who had called so frantically for a nurse when the blonde boy had gotten hurt by- as odd as it sounded- a lavender sewing machine being dropped on him. I hardly know the guy and we've already got to put our potential friendship on the line... she thought to herself a little sadly, Sometimes I wonder why they even make these fighting tournaments! | |

| Ken's eyes widened as his name was called by a familiar voice. Holding a hand up to block a bit of wind from his eyes, he picked out the image of none other than Regina. Wait, he was fighting Regina? Well, shit. By the look on her face, she didn't seem any happier about this than he was. Sighing slightly, he raised his chin to try and make his voice louder over the roar of the wind through the mountains. "It's okay! It's a mirage, remember?" He called out, trying to reassure her as well as himself. Figuring there was no going back no, Ken took no hesitation in rushing forward. Recalling back to when he first met Regina, he was reminded that she had the ability to manipulate bones. On the other hand, in very small advantage to him, was the fact that she didn't know his ability. And though it would be easier to traverse the tough landscape in his canine-form, he figured it would be easier to avoid touching Regina if he used his weapons. I hope the training me and Sebastion did comes in handy... He thought, drawing his dual-blades.
"Sorry ahead of time, Regina!" He called out with a small smirk, deciding there was no holding back now as he leaped against the wind, bringing his blades down towards her. Though in the meanwhile, he was silently reminding himself over and over that it was just a mirage, and he wouldn't actually be hurting Sebastion's friend in the end...

| Regina couldn't help the pang of slight sadness she had from knowing that she was having to battle a friend, but she knew that she needed to push those feelings aside and get in the zone. And a good time too, the other boy was coming at her and with fire in his eyes. The orange haired girl swiftly slid the shield from her back and held it up in her defense. The dual-blades her opponent were using were narrowly deflected, but were still firmly in the grip of their wielder. Regina pressed back with her weapon of choice- or something of that sort- and succeeded in making contact. Though she couldn't celebrate even that small victory yet; the touch of the metal to the other boy had hardly done anything more than inch him backward- if even- and draw his attention back toward her. I hardly even made him budge! she thought to herself in surprise, but she wasn't about to let it show. With a growl she advanced, hoping to land a more forceful blow with power. | |

| Ken blinked in surprise as his swords hit metal, and realized that Regina's weapon must be a shield as well as maybe something else. A sword? Or...Did she just have a shield? He'd have to keep an eye out for a second hidden weapon. He was shocked back into reality, however as he heard her growl and was nearly slammed into with a much, much more forceful shield bash. He side-stepped, realizing how close they were, and quickly stepped back to avoid risking skin-contact. His memory went back to when she helped fix Sebastion's bones, and how Regina could have easily killed his boyfriend if she had so much as slipped up a little. Her ability was dangerous; no way he was transforming unless he really needed to.
Clicking his blades together, the Autumn made a dash at her before side-stepping again, a really old and simple trick not used often in the modern world of combat. Ken aimed a quick, clean cut at her arm, as to not cut too deeply, but to distract her so he could go for something deeper. Whether he hit or not, he didn't waste time in clicking his blades once more and swinging them both in succession at her back. He leaped back again, wondering if he hit at all. Doesn't matter as long as she doesn't touch me...Shit, why'd we have to end up fighting anyways? The thought growled in his head, annoyed that the tournament had turned this way.

| Regina hissed as she felt one of the other boy's blades nick her flesh. She didn't have much time to pay it any mind though, having to quickly to defend her back side from the onslaught of swings from her opponent. Even in her head she didn't want to call him Ken, or even a friend, the thought of fighting someone like that stung her heart. But it could hardly compare to the fear I felt going into the fight with Jordan... sure she liked him, even as more than a friend, but she still held the fear that this tournament had the potential to break relationships. Snap out of it, Regina! she screamed at herself internally to make herself get back into the fight. When she saw that he had backed away from her she used the chance to rush at him again with her shield. Best not to blow all of my best party tricks just starting out...! She could help letting a smirk form on her face at the thought.
Sebastian stood on Ken's side of the field, his skinny-jean clad legs dangling lazily over the edge of a high cliff. Sure can't beat the view from up here! Sebastian's pale face lit up with a warm and prideful smile as he laid eyes upon his boyfriend taking his place out of the battle field, albeit a fake one. The blonde boy then leaned forward a little to try and spot the dark haired boy's opponent. He had to quickly recompose himself and narrowly avoid falling from his current vantage point as he spotted unusual orange hair. "R-Regina!?!" The call of disbelief from the Autumn echoed off of the mountain faces surrounding the three, and any other onlookers who may have been present at the match.

| Ken crossed his blades together, intercepting the shield and feeling his feet slide back some from the impact. He glanced up at Regina with those determined, grey eyes of his, yet he had a small, friendly smile on his face. "Hey, no hard feelings after this, no matter who wins?" He asked quietly, flinching slightly as he heard Sebastion call out in shock. Knowing not to risk a look back at him, the Autumn focused on his opponent and side-stepped away to break their hold on shield-vs.-swords. He took a dummy slash at Regina, purposely missing to hopefully distract her, as his other sword took a swing at her back once more. At this point, he was worried that this match could seriously ruin some relationships, and tried to think of ways they could avoid over-kill and end the match quickly without much emotional harm. | |

| Regina moved in relative sync with Ken's retreating movements, practically mirroring him. "Agreed." she said in response to his previous words, slowly starting to circle around and size up her opponent fully, "But that doesn't mean I won't fight to win..." The orange haired girl shifted the shield in her hand, but made no move to use it. The girl had to keep in mind her state of knowledge in regards to the possible outcomes of this match. Sure she knew her own strengths and weakness, but Ken's? I know I need to get close to him, but lets just see how things may just work out to my favor... this was the reason for her change in strategy. She biding her time; doing what she did best: observing. | |
