Things gonna happen [OPEN]

A small sigh escaped Magic. "Beata is a nice place and all but sometimes it could use to be less noisy sometimes. Quiet is nice, and is often needed by people and the only time I can really find that is out here or late at night." Mason said, rambling to himself. He enjoyed this small conversation he was carrying with Lamia. Even though it was noise it still did well to have some small talk with people. Especially in a peaceful place like this.

Lamia nodded in agreement, the minute smile reappearing on her face as she listened to him for a moment. It was nice that someone would share the same sentiment as her, considering that most people seemed to enjoy the crowds and company the academy provided. "Y-you're right..." she whispered, suppressing any more stutters that could come if she spoke any further.

Magic let the talking be replaced by silence letting the bird songs fill the air once again. He wasn't to interested in constantly talking, he was here to get away from the noisiness. He was here to relax, and it was nice to have someone with him who enjoyed silence just as much as he did. Magic let out a content sigh. Everything seemed peaceful at the moment.

Another smile was all she could really do now. Lamia closed her eyes, allowing herself to relax a bit as she embraced the songs the birds sang, feeling the sounds down to her very core, loosening her stiff posture just bit by bit. The peace was calming and she might've lulled herself to sleep from the tranquility of everything if she didn't know any better. But, she knew better. Obviously. A light sigh escaped her, "Th-this is r-really nice..."

All Magic could do was agree. "Yeah.." The black haired boy let out another content sigh. It was so peaceful. You couldn't find this any where else except for here. Magic decided that he would have to come out here more often. It kept his mind clear.

No conversation was getting anywhere... Somehow, Lamia didn't know what else to talk about. She knew his house and power - that's it. For the fact that he hadn't asked about her own abilities, the Winter was very glad. A touchy subject it was for her, and to explain it, she wouldn't be surprised if he had a similar reaction to others... Freak out or proceed to panic and run as far as possible away from her. "S-so..." As usual, she had no idea where she was going with this. It was kinda to break off this weird silence that kept coming up and it made her more uncomfortable if they weren't trying to socialize... Maybe it was the idea of just being near a guy and not talking to him. She had no clue.

Magic was about to reply to Lamia when he notice the forest was slowly getting darker. After debating for a moment the tall boy stood, and dusted his pants off. "It's getting late. We should probably head back. I can walk you back if you would like?" Magic asked the girl, holding out a hand to help her stand up.

She didn't know if it was visible or not, but Lamia couldn't help but feel her face heat up like a fireplace in the middle of winter. Was she supposed to take his hand and say yes? The idea made her embarrassed and her cheeks twinged with a rose red, and hesitatingly, her frail, pallid hands reached up and softly gripped his. Her head simply feverishly nodded in an imperceptible manner, and she couldn't find the words to speak. It was just the idea of touching others that made her feel uncomfortable... Kinda weird, but the act of holding hands even - especially with someone she didn't know - made her feel queasy. Slowly, she stood up, using her free hand to sweep away the dust from her skirt before looking at him with her doe-like gold eyes as if waiting for him to do something.

Soon after she stood up, Magic released her hand. He didn't want to make her to uncomfortable, just wanted to help her stand up. He gave her a soft friendly smile, "Now lets get going." He stated in a friendly tone, before he started to walk away from the mini clearing the to had sat in. When he reached the edge of the clearing that was towards the school he stopped and waited to see if she was following or not.

She'd followed him without saying a word the entire way, but it was mainly because she still felt a bit unsettled from the contact from before. That, and Lamia wasn't quite sure what to say, as usual, unfortunately. The whole trip, she was simply twiddling with her fingers or sometimes going off to hum a small tune whenever she heard the birds sing or the chirps of the crickets. The night sky was beautiful, stargazing would be nice. To be honest, the Winter almost had wanted to stay back in the forest to simply get a good view of the stars tonight. Too many lights around the school blocked it all off... that wasn't quite fair.
