Round 1: Dylan Willikers vs. Destiny Willams

Destiny stood on the brown terrain. Her she was again. Same tournament different opponent. She didn't know what her enemy could do, but she hoped she could easily get this over with. She wanted a rematch with Hosa. She had some new abilities she wanted to try on the animal shifter, but to do that she needed to complete a couple rounds first and win them all.

This terrain wasn't a bad one to be in. At least not for Destiny. She could do all she needed in here. Summon things, manipulate life force, and control souls to kind of spy on her opponent. Yeah this wasn't to bad. Last year Destiny used a Bo staff as a weapon but she ditched it and ended up picking up a scythe. She decided to embrace the whole like death idea.

Dylan grinned as he surveyed the rocky terrain, this was perfect in his eyes. Enough rock to form countless spikes, pillars and walls. With any luck he could set up a booby trap or two.He had been worrying that he would have gotten some barren desert but luck must have been with him. Naturally, he was feeling nervous, being that this was his first tournament, however the overwhelming feeling of excitement was far more rampant within him. With haste, he grabbed two surikans from his pockets and held them at the ready, a smile upon his face and exhilaration gleaming in his eyes.

Once the bell tolled, Destiny instantly summoned up two skeleton, then took off dashing down the field towards her opponent with the two dog skeletons close behind. She was going to strike first no matter what. Once she got close to her opponent, She let her life-force manipulation power coat her scythe. She swung the big blade around aiming straight for her opponent. She planned to drain his life force. If he touched the scythe his life would be drained. If he didn't block the attack, then she got a hit, and she drained some of his life at the same time. She wasn't gonna go easy. No mercy shined in her bright red eyes. All that was shown on her face was determination and a smile.

"Well, shit." Dylan thought as the newest incarnation of the grim reaper slashed with her scythe. Having almost no time to react, Dylan flung himself backwards and quickly brought a wall up from the stone. This process however did not stop the scythe from grazing his side and drawing some blood. Instantly, he felt weaker than before. He knew that he would have to win this from long range. Putting his hands on a rock, three rock spikes shot from the rock, one archering overhead at her and the others coming from either sides of her.

Destiny jumped back from the rocks the two in the sides causing a little damage on her right arm and left leg but nothing to bad. A little blood fell but nothing to phase the necromancer. The Skeletons she had summoned earlier ran around the rock wall the boy had created seeing how they were both dog skeletons, they both lunged at the boy with sharp teeth. She didn't bother going after the boy. He had to dog skeletons to deal with at the moment. Instead she moved around, not standing still, twirling her scythe around in her hand.

"Puppy." Dylan though almost happily as he crushed one by trapping it in a stone box and making it compact until the bones were meal. The other however, bit into his leg drawing blood and leaving a semi-deep wound with its teeth. Dylan kicked it off and killed it the same way he had the other. Taking a quick glance at his new wound, Dylan cursed and created a rock pillar underneath him, raising him about fifteen feet in the air and started raining surikans on this girl who had really pissed him off.

Destiny instantly knew that her skeletons had been destroy so she raised more. Summoning was no issue it was the life draining that caused most of her issues. This time when she was the boy decided to go into the air she rose a human skeleton, this time. Carefully she danced about, avoiding most of the knife things. Some deflected of her scythe. Some cut her skin, but due to her moving about no major issue once again. One cut a little deep though which caused some stinging for the necromancer. If he wanted to get long range another skeleton that Destiny had raised was a falcon. Due to Destiny's magical ability it could fly. Since Dylan was focused on Destiny, she raised the bird behind him, and it flew up, and came down aiming it's sharp talons right for his face.

"Fuck," Dylan screamed as he fell of the pillar to avoid a skeleton falcon. Luckily, Dylan was able to graze the pillar to his side turning his fifteen feet fall into a seven foot one onto a rock platform, still knocking the breath out of him and bruiseing his ribs. Dylan stood up wearily and jumped off of his platform onto the ground level. Using his powers he used a rock spike to break the falcon apart and a tomb for the human skeleton before covering himself in a rock dome to rest and recover.

"Don't think your dome can protect you~" Destiny said in a sing-song voice, still dancing about, and twirling her scythe around. After she said that a few skeletons started rising from the ground inside the dome, the three of them reaching to grab the person in side, and if they succeeded they would try to choke him.

Dylan was not really scared of the skeletons as they rose from the ground. He could just destroy them while they were coming up by sending pillars made of his dome at them. As far as he knew, Mrs. Grim Reaper would keep sending more servants until he was finally overwhelmed. Deciding it was all or nothing time, Dylan created a small tunnel leading about 10 meters back as a escape plan before placing his hands on his dome. In a millisecond, the dome was gone and instead it was turned into high speed rock needles that shot blindly in all directions. Without checking if it hit or not, he started sown his tunnel, praying to any god that would listen.

Destiny quickly moved her arms in front of her face, the rocks cutting her body and arms as she protected herself. A frown appeared on her face as she noticed the boy had disappeared. He's under ground... A soul had whispered in her ear. A smirk appeared on her face. "Oh so he is a coward? Is that what you are telling me? He is trying to hide from me instead of fighting me like a real person would? Ah well.. " Destiny kind of taunted hoping to get him out from the under ground area. There wasn't much she could do at the moment. She could send skeletons after him, but that wouldn't be to useful cause both the skeleton and her opponent would end up stuck.

All the girl could focus on was how much pain she wanted to cause him. Little did she know that she had the ability to induce pain. Because of her thinking she would end up causing pain, but it would be more annoying than harmful, it wouldn't change what was going on.

"You given up yet." Dylan yelled as peaked though a hole and shot an earth spike at her before ducking back into the hole. He knew that direct combat would not work as she was much more experienced, instead he adapted a hit and run strategy. He also hoped that his taunting would maker har mad and clumsy. Quickly, Dylan resealed his hole and started crawling over to his next attack point in the small network of tunnels he had built. To be honest however, he was tired, mentally and physically, and the constant use of his gift was not helping.

Destiny quickly dodged the spike and started dancing around again. Destiny was in fact getting angry but she was keeping her cool, or at least trying. She didn't want to lose it like last year. No she didn't need to do that. She really hurt someone last time. She didn't really want to really hurt someone again. She gripped her scythe in both hands tightly. She had to think of something to do. She couldn't reach him underground unless she sent a badger after him, but it might prove to be ineffective. What to do she thought as she danced about.
