| "You want us to jump?"
Fear could be seen in Devin's eyes as he gripped the door of the plane with both hands as he glanced at the pilot. His wind blew wildly in his face as his bag of clothes and blanket was hanging from his tail - just light enough for his tail to support it. He had thought the camping trip would be fun - exciting! He was not very excited for the jumping out of the plane part.
The sun was high in the sky, making the day being about half-way done and it caused the snow below the plane to glint in the sunlight as the plane was swooping down to be low enough for the group to jump out. Who the hell thought this was a great idea? Devin's green gaze flickered back to the snow beneath him as it grew closer and closer, before it leveled out as it was time for him to jump.
Sure, it could of been worse. They could of been expected to jump out higher but...He whispered a small prayer before he flickered his tail with his bag past him, throwing it into the snow below before letting out a soft cry as he jumped forward and out of the plane. For a few seconds he was just falling until he landed in the snow below. A big snow bank stopped his fall, but gave him no room to roll as he stuck into it face-first as his cry was cut short. However, he soon pushed himself out of the cold snow with a shiver as he glanced to the plane to see the others of his group jumping out as he shook the snow from his hair and face.
The next one to go was Brant, who sighed softly as he stepped up to the door of the plane as he glanced toward Destiny as he threw his bag of clothes into the snow below. He didn't hesitate like Devin, and jumped out shortly after his bag. His landing was a bit more smooth. He hit the ground and rolled, but ended up laying on his back instead of rolling to his feet like a cool person would of done. "Come on out! The snow is fine!" he laughed, mainly toward Destiny as he rolled over and pushed himself up, heading over to his bag of clothes and pulling it from the snow pile it had landed in.

| Soon after the first two, came Leo, who tossed down his own bag of clothes, and the supplies provided by the school. He hadn't expected the jumping out of the plane part. Although it may be a problem for other students, it certainly wouldn't cause any problem for Leo. Not hesitating in the slightest, the angel stepped out of the plane, free falling a foot or so, before activating his wings. In a bright light, they appeared, allowing the Autumn student to glide down easily. Landing not too far from where his bags landed, Leo made his way to the two bags. Scooping the supplies bag on his left shoulder and his clothes on the right, Leo strolled back to the group, a excited smile on his face. "You all ready?" Of course, he would most likely be the more excited one of the group. As he didn't have to risk breaking his ankles jumping out of a tiny aircraft. | |

| Who had thought this was a great idea to make the students suicide on the first day of camp?
Nicola really had enjoyed the scenery and everything, but when the pilot told them to jump, she had glanced over, her eyes flitting from the snow banks back to her seat. It really was high up... Pursing her lips in a pout, she quickly tossed her belongings down and prepped herself to follow the other three. Bringing her hands back and swinging them forward, her legs sprung up in a satisfying leap, and she quickly followed.
The air was so cold, and everything was roaring in her ears. Through the clouds, it was blurry and hard to see. She hated heights... that was a fact now. The Summer student, in a panic, quickly found herself summoning a demon who had caught her and flew her down to the ground. That was much better. Much, much better. She didn't have to worry about breaking bones... Especially with this weak body. Bleh. This was why she did not want to be an eight-year-old.
The snow was soft, but really cold. At least it was pretty, right? Sucking in a deep breath, she felt a refreshing, cool breeze fill her lungs and her breath came out as a frosty cloud. Her eyes glanced up to the plane as she saw her brother casually floating down. That was not fair that, as a spirit, he could easily fly through the skies and not worry about anything.
Her clothes were rather simple: a denim blue knit cap and matching scarf, a pair of white gloves, and a long blue coat with black leggings and brown boots. It'd keep her warm at least. As for Hieta, since he couldn't really feel the bitter chills that the weather brought, he opted for his default red jacket and brown pants.
The siblings picked up their belongings, their backpacks strapped over their shoulders, and headed over to the others. Nicola was honestly, enjoying the footprints that they left in the snow - it was rather nice to see some snow. As soon as the two got over there, she had a bright smile on her face, and waved to them. "This is going to be fun!"
"If there's nothing killing us out here..." Hieta muttered darkly under his breath as he trudged slowly behind his sister. It wasn't right - why the hell would their school send them on a camping trip when they weren't going to be in some kind of danger? It was definitely not a casual, fun vacation.

| Destiny watched as all of the others jumped out of the plane. She wasn't scared at all. If something happened she could kind of sort of heal herself with life force. Well she could keep someone alive for long enough that they could get help. A small smile appeared on the necromancer's face as Brant had called out to her. The white-haired girl stepped up to the door of the plane and tossed her stuff out not really caring to where it landed. She took a step off the plane allowing her weight to make her descend to the ground bellow. The girl landed on her legs with bent knees and rolled a bit before standing up, and going to grab her things. | |

| Devin glanced up from where he was standing, having stood up as the others jumped from the plane and was brushing the off snow that clung to his outfit. He was wearing a dark blue shirt that was mostly covered by his black jacket, with simple blue jeans for pants. When it looked like everybody had gotten out - pretty much everybody but Brant and him having something to slow their fall (or have a smooth landing like Destiny did) with Nicola even summoning a demon to do so, he turned and hurried over to where his bag was. His tail flickered as he used it to scoop up his bag before he dragged it along to where the others were, not wanting to stray to far as they had only just arrived.
A few people were excited, Brant...Not so much. He was taken by surprise with Nicola summoning a demon from nowhere, but quickly brushed it off as Destiny jumped and he hurried over to where she landed, his bag in tow. He didn't pay any mind to Leo asking if they were all ready, deciding to head to his girlfriend's side. Really, he felt like he was one of the most normal people out of the group so...Fun. "Nice landing," he huffed, his breath easily shown in the cold weather as he gave her a small smile. "I think Nicola is right - this is going to be fun." He had learned everybody's name before they had left...Destiny had also informed him of a ghost that was joining them, only strengthening his idea that he was the most normal person here. The random voice that had spoke up claiming that it would be fun if nothing would try to kill them informed him that the ghost thing was true.
He kinda missed his old life for how...Normal it was, but he supposed it wasn't as exciting. His green eyes flickered to Leo, figuring he would be the leader of the group with the whole...'Angel' thing he had. He seemed like a good leader anyways and Brant sure didn't want to lead the whole group of people he barely knew. Sure, he was the oldest one of the group...He thought. Did the ghost count toward the age thing - not like he was sure how old...Uh..Hieta was. Well, anyways out of the oldest people he knew for sure that he was the oldest but he was fine with having Leo lead. Once again, he didn't want to lead mostly people he had just met less the a day before. He was only in this group because Destiny had been pulled into this group for some reason.

| Leo took a glance around the group before looking through the bag of supplies. Flint, a hatchet, a knife, silverware, and a small tent. Giving the tent a hesitant look, he slowly pulled it out and set it aside. "Well, it looks like either we all have to share a tent, or take turns." The blond explained to the group, His eyes glancing between Devin and Brant. Well, if they all did end up sharing, alt least it would be warm. The boy stood up, and adjusted his blue sweatshirt that said something about hone behind where the hand is. A Michigan sweatshirt.
Standing upright, he looked over the group of students before him, taking charge. "Alright. Destiny and Brant I'd like you to work on making a fire." To be honest, Leo didn't think they needed a piece of flint. They had Brant for that. Turning to the other three, blue eyes looked over the two he could see. "Devin and Nicola, would you mind looking for ways to get food?" The Autumn student paused before looking off in the distance for Hieta, feeling bad he couldn't look the boy in the eyes. "Hieta, you can stay around your sister. But keep an eye out for any animal tracks. Prey and predator." Once he was finished delegating responsibilities, he looked back down at the tent and began setting it up, blue eyes fixed in concentration. It would be best to stay here, Leo guessed. It was where they dropped his group off, and it will be where they pick the group up.

| Nicola gave a small nod in understanding, not minding at all that Leo had taken lead of the group. He was a good person and nice too, so what was there not to like about him? Better than Hieta trying to lead the group... No offense to her brother, but he was rather poor at trusting others and would wind up trying to do all the tasks for everyone else so they wouldn't have to waste energy. Especially because he was a ghost, he would have the least trouble with everything. It wouldn't have been a fair arrangement, as practical as it was, and soon enough, all the others would rely on him to do everything. Yeah, she was really glad that Leo had decided to take charge.
This sort of thing had become a habit, maybe because she liked to rush a bit, but she had grabbed Devin's hand the moment she saw Leo getting to work, and started to drag him with her. Nicola really didn't like waiting, and since this camping trip seemed like it would be a lot of fun, she was certainly a bundle of energy. "Let's go!" her smile widening, "Dinner shouldn't be late. Everyone would get mad at us." Looking over at the demon she had brought of nowhere, the child let out a sigh, snapping her fingers as it disappeared with a puff of dark smoke before practically dragging Devin with her.
Hieta was in the completely opposite direction from where Leo had actually looked, but he was fine with that. It was something he had become accustomed to since... death. If Destiny was in this group, maybe his-- oh wait, she was. He wasn't sure if he should just ask her and interrupt her conversation with Brant, so he sort of just stood off to the side, his hands in his pocket as he looked upward. Fingers toyed with a knife inside the small pouch - a pocket knife that he forgot to keep at the academy. As long as he didn't use it, the staff couldn't get mad at him. Or that's what he assumed. How trustworthy could Beata's faculty be?
The Spring debated going with his sister, but with Devin watching out for her, he thought it was really unnecessary. He shook his head with a defeated sigh, taking the supplied bag with a mumbled apology to Leo, and quickly grabbed the knife. Stuffing it in his other pocket, the spirit replied, "If you don't mind, I'll go make some traps," he paused for a moment before adding on a reason. Did he need one? "To catch bigger game. Nicola and Devin could easily find something smaller."
And to find out whether there is something else in this place...

| Destiny nodded in response to Leo. She had partially wondered why Leo sent two people to get food when Destiny could just summon some skeletal animals to hunt for them, but oh well. "I guess it's time to find some wood. It's gonna be kind of hard to find some dry stuff with all of this snow." She said to Brant, looking at all of the snow around them. Destiny could tell there were a lot of skeletons in the ground beneath them, most of them were animal skeletons as far as she could tell. That was god because they might need them later. The necromancer started trudging away through the snow, going to gather sticks and stuff for the fire. | |

| When Leo started to give out orders, Devin's eyes fell to him as he stared at the older student. He was left unsure about the food gathering thing as his first idea was hunting and he wasn't the fondest of doing that, but nodded his head and opened up his mouth to speak. However, before a word would leave his mouth he felt a hand tighten around his own as he was suddenly tugged to the side, his gaze quickly landing on Nicola as she started to drag him away with excitement as she spoke. "R-Right!" he said as he flickered his tail to unhook his bag from it, not wanting to bring it with him as Nicola dismissed her demon and he was pulled away from the group.
Brant blinked as he and Destiny were ordered to get firewood, nodding at Leo as he turned to Destiny as she spoke. "Yeah, but I am sure we can manged," he responded as he followed her away from the clearing to find the wood. At least it would be easy to set the fire with his fire breath - find good kindle wood would be the hardest part of their mission. He let out a soft sigh as he shivered slightly in the cold weather, his flames escaping from his mouth for a second to warm up his face slightly.

| Leo looked up towards Heita's voice, listening to what he had to say. Leo nodded and gave the invisible being a smile. "Go ahead. There ought to be bigger prey around here to be caught." Once he thought Hieta left, he turned back to continue setting up the tent. Blue eyes narrowing as he set the stakes in the ground to keep the tent from flying away during windy days. That is, if there were going to be any. As he worked, the Autumn thought about his group. He didn't know all of their powers very well, so he couldn't utilize their full potential. 'I'll have to keep an eye on their powers the first few days.' Leo decided, stomping on the last stake. The ground was rather moist due to the snow and the warming weather. Most of it was melting. Once he decided the tent was all set, Leo then began to gather everyone's bags into the tent. He didn't think they wanted wet clothes. As he did so, he thought of what they had to do the next week. All it really should be is survive the week. Right? | |

| Once the two had made a decent amount of distance, Nicola plopped onto the ground with a small sigh, her limbs splayed out as her blue eyes stared up into the sky. Looking over at Devin, she gave him a questioning look, "What do you think we should try and get? Berries? Small animals?" Her brain was racking itself to find more ideas on what they could bring back, but the entire time they had traveled to the area, she had no idea what to do. "Maybe there's an unfrozen stream that we could try and hunt fish at?" As soon as she finished talking, Nicola sat up, drifting her gaze to the ground as her fingers felt the cold bite of snow.
"Whatever's easiest?"
With Leo's approval, Hieta had left without another word. Whatever drove him to go on this trip was only because Nicola wanted to go camping... If he had a say in it, he would've stayed back at the academy. Shaking his head, he realized he didn't have any rope to set up bait traps... Right, because the school expected them to hunt without said materials. How annoying. A soft groan escaped him, and as he stopped out in the middle of absolutely nowhere, he tried to keep his mind busy with creating simple weapons that would help with hunting later. Didn't help that every rustle in the bushes or the wind roaring in his ears made him suspicious of something else being there.

| Destiny didn't exactly feel cold at the moment. She liked the cold weather that was for sure. Maybe the cold silent environment was fitting for her, and her gift. Destiny looked at the trees around her. They weren't gonna exactly find anything that was dry anywhere.. Anything on the ground would be under the snow, or absorbing the water from the melting snow. The best bet was to get some tree branches or something. "Maybe it would be best if we grabbed wood and stuff from the trees." Destiny said looking at her boyfriend. | |

| Devin sighed happily went Nicola stopped dragging him along and dropped to the ground with her limbs out likes he was about to make a snow angel. When she started to list of ideas of how they could get food, he shrugged as he couched down next to her, his tail flicking as it made random markings in the snow from it moving back and forth. "I dunno," he said as he glanced at her as well. "Berries don't sound that bad, but I doubt we can enough to feed all s-five of us," he said, quickly remembering that Heita didn't have to eat...At least he figured he didn't have to eat. How would he eat anyways if he was a ghost? "Small animals I guess then...Not looking forward to trying to hunt them down but I guess we don't have much of an option for food. And maybe we can find a stream, but I sure hope that if we do its close to the camp...Of course we are going to need a stream anyways so that we can have something to drink so stream hunting doesn't sound that bad."
Brant pause as he stood next to Destiny who seemed at easy with the cold weather. He raised an eyebrow when she mentioned getting the tree branches, before he nodded. "Yeah, that sounds like a good idea. I think the school gave us a hatchet to use so we can use that to cut down branches." He paused, glancing over his shoulder toward where Leo was attempting to set up the camp. "Uh...Should I go ask Leo for the hatchet?"

| Leo had disappeared inside of the tent, placing down the tarp flooring that came with the shelter. While he was laying it down, the blond paused to take in the tent's actual size. It was smaller than what he'd thought it'd be. Too small for his own comfort. In fact, he wasn't feeling to cozy at the moment either, and he was the only one in the tent. Yet with five solid bodies? It would be a tight fit. Not something he'd want to be a part of. Putting in the last corner, the angel boy backed out of the tent. He stood in front of the flap inside to admire his handy work, hands which were covered in gloves rested on his hips. Of course, he had a bit to do on the other side. The stakes looked a bit loose, he should take a look at those.
Only then did he turn around to see Brant looking his way. 'What would he need?' Leo thought to himself, eyes narrowed in confusion. Only then did he piece it together. The wood found on the ground would be too wet for kindle wood. At this point tree branches could be better. It would be easier to chop the limbs off. "Oh! The hatchet!" The Autumn told himself, ducking inside the tent to grab the weapon. Leaning back out, the jogged his way over to them, glad that they hadn't gone too far. Carefully, he handed the fire breather the tool by the handle. "I just realized you might need this."

| "Stream hunting?" Nicola repeated, stifling a giggle at Devin's rather strange wording. "We're going to go and kill a stream to bring back to camp?" The thought was really funny. An entire body of water being moved by the youngest kids in a group going on a trip out in the middle of nowhere... Actually, that was plausible if someone could control water. Now that she thought about it more and more... "How exactly are we going to bring everything back, let alone hunt?" She could summon demons, but draining her powers more than she already had before didn't sound very fun.
There were many things that he enjoyed doing. But one of them was not following what seemed to be a rather giant animal in hopes of hunting it. Stalking prey was easy for a ghost, sure, but... The likeliness of killing it with one blow was almost impossible because Hieta couldn't make much of an impact. Narrowing his eyes, he steadied his arm, pulling the makeshift arrow as he concentrated on taking aim. With the release of his fingers, the arrow zoomed through the barren land and made a direct hit. He was positive that it hit once the caribou stopped moving and dropped frozen stiff on the ground.
Letting out a small sigh of relief, he lowered the weapon and walked over to the dead animal, picking out the arrow that had struck it. Its eyes were glazed over and so unmoving, petrified. Hieta almost felt sorry for it because... never mind that. He grabbed the creature by the antlers and with that, it vanished from normal sight. This was one of the few times he was glad to be a ghost - dragging giant prey around, defenseless in a forest was the sure fire way to get killed painfully.
