Future Site Event Ideas

I feel the simulation idea is the only idea that will explain a.) why it affects humans and not objects. b.) why it is on elevated floors.

Here's another idea, but it doesn't really explain b.

- The Floor is Lava. A new boy in school is not that adept to his powers. He has the power to raise the temperature of whatever he touches, but it isn't too strong and doesn't have a large range. That is, until a powerful thunderstorm races through Beata. The boy is caught outside as he runs from the campus to the dormitories, and is struck by lightning. The lightning causes him to discharge his power, 100x more powerfully than he could ever do on his own. The campus is affected in its entirety. The grounds of the entire campus begins to heat up more and more as the boy lay passed out on the grounds outside, jolted and unaffected by the temperatures. Students must find out how to get to him and detach him from the ground, before the floor gets too hot, destroying the furniture and any objects keeping the kids alive.

The Race:
And you thought Mario Kart ruined friendships...

The Track:
- an illusion created by Beata's mirage master, Ms. Davis.
- the setting is a rainy city. There are no human inhabitants besides the racers.
- participating students will be able to find various items (and alternative vehicles) to help them along the sides of the road.
- the city will be littered with booby traps.
- Ms. Davis has ultimate power over the mirage. Which means she can cause explosions, throw fireballs, destroy the ground, fill the city with ravening monsters, or even cause natural disasters.

The Rules:
- powers and weapons are allowed.
- killed or incapacitated students will automatically be removed from the illusion, perfectly fine in real life.
- everybody will start off on dirt bikes, but you don't have to stick with it.
- there's no set route or track; as long as you get to the end goal, you can take any path you wish.

- Highway Chase. Bunch of Beata students in a pick-up truck. Driver, one or two passengers in the front, three passengers in the back, two or three in the bed. If you want more, a couple more can be following on motorbikes or in different cars or something. Possibly carrying a precious item. Could also possibly be attached to The Lamb plot (have a few ideas for it and would likely be multiple parts). Pursued by a shitload of people in black (or some other evil faction).

How would this happen? Would it be part of a mission? Would it be something else? Where the hell do they get this truck? What would they be carrying? Why are they being pursued? These are all valid questions, but there's only one answer: because it sounds really cool in my head, that's why.

I could think up some excuse. "It's fast-paced and action-heavy without favoring certain types of characters!" But if you couldn't tell, I'm just enamored with the idea of a high speed car chase right now.

There's a ton of ideas, but do we have any momentum towards implementing any of them?

- The Charlotte Project. Students are kidnapped and handed over to a team of scientists looking to uncover the secrets of gifts. Isolated in the facility, with no knowledge of the other abducted children, the kidnapped students are subjected torturous experimentation.

What happens in the event depends on the student. They might go insane, they might get rescued, or they might just break out themselves.

With October rolling around, any of you guys got any Halloween event ideas? I want to put extra emphasis on the holiday this year. :P
