He laughed and shrugged. "If you could, that's be fantastic. It'd save me some cash," he replied, shoving his hand into his pocket to grab his wallet, flicking it open and grabbing a few dollar bills to put into the machine, not even thinking about his ability to literally phase through anything. He just don't work that way I guess. That'd be too unfair. When he had about five dollars in ones in his hand, he quickly put his wallet away. "I'd actually love to see you try to grab something. Save me some money. Put those arms to good use!" he told her, leaning against the machine while giving her a playful look. He was still slowly getting over the whole almost dropping her thing, but as long as she was okay with it, he was going to play it cool. Cool like icecream on hot summer asphalt. Good job, Richard.

She tried not to laugh again as he clearly didn't get the hint. He really was Spring to a T, she thought, always thinking of the proper way first. Unlike him though, she was as much Autumn as she was a Spring, and hey... If they could get away it...

Brailynn held her tongue as he shoved a few bills into the machine. To be fair, she would try her way first since he didn't seem to mind. The blonde dropped down on her knees in front of him, scooting to the best spot and slipping her arm through the bottom door. It must've looked so weird then as her fingers struggled to touch the bottom of a bag of chips. No luck though. "Damn, it has me beat." She let out a sigh, smiling at her lame situation all the while.

It finally dinged inside of his head. He could totally reach into the machine and at least knock something loose. Wow. He was not smart. He was not a smart man. His blond was showing."Oh come on! You can do better than that! You gotta reach! Reach real hard! Believe in yourself. Just reach right in..." In that moment, he pushed himself off of the vending machine and reached right through the glass and with the tips of his fingers, he knocked down the bag of chips that Lynn was trying to reach. The bag fell down with a thud right at the door. "and grab it. Just that simple! If you believe." Richard smirked as he pulled his arm back out of the machine and proceeded to lean against the machine again.

Brailynn had laid there the entire time, watching him with an amused expression and her arm still awkwardly shoved into the machine, as he rambled on and phased his arm through the machine's glass with ease. "Oh, thank you Great Richard for your words of encouragement." She said, glancing inside at the bag that'd handed just shy of her hand. She grabbed it and took her arm out, pulling herself back unto her feet and looking up at him. He seemed way too proud of himself. Playfully, she poked at his chest. "You make it look so easy."

Giving her a look that simply said 'what?' with a big goofy smile on his face before laughing. "That's because it is! Are you telling me you can't just phase through stuff? Isn't that normal?" he teased before putting a dollar into the machine and pressing some buttons to get a Milky Way bar out of it. Even though he could technically get all the snacks he wanted without paying, that was douchey. With another dollar, he got a Whatchmacallit and grabbed the two out of the machine, handing the latter to Lynn. "Here you go! Anything else for you? Soda right?" He asked, turning serious for just a moment to finish getting the snacks for the movie. A movie sounded really good. What better way to get a little bit closer?
