"Oh, excuse me!" It was on a cold winter's sunset that Madison had wandered into the infirmary, a place where she helped out every Saturday for an extra dollar. It was there that she would always encounter a boy. Stump-legged, he would walk in to get his thigh checked. They exchanged glances once or twice. She always found herself looking away. He was very handsome. Madison had forgotten her bookbag in the infirmary. She saw shapes within the dark room, and when she flicked on the light, she was surprised to find one remained. It was that boy. He looked up at her frozen figure, until she excused herself and walked by. "What is your name." His question was calm as he peered up at her from his bed. In his hands was a picture of an older man, an older version of himself, almost. He seemed to be wistfully...touching it. "Oh, um..." Her words came out awkwardly, like love juices in a passionate ferver. "Madison, my...name's Madison." "That's a pretty name." There was silent, and she scooted forward, acknowledging the textbooks on the mahogany nightstand by the bed. "I see you...," she paused. "Are...studious." "Yeah. You could call me a...textbook nerd." They both laughed. The ice was broken. "My name is Ethan," he said softly. "And what's his name?" She realized the question was awkward, but it was too late to take it back, and she pointed feebly to the picture. Ethan didn't seem to mind. "That's my father." His finger traced the face in the frame. "That's not what I--...," she stopped herself. "That's nice, he looks like a nice man." "He's a piece of shit." "Okay..." Madison found herself sitting by his bed. After a few brief moments of silence, when she felt she would scamper off at any moment, his hand reached up to her shoulder. "Hey, Madison. I think you're cute. Would you like to go out sometime...?" Madison blushed madly, and peered over to his hand. "Sure, um, I'd love to, but isn't that kind of rapey...?" "I'm sorry, I've been in a coma for a while, I'm not used to society yet..." "I see." "And maybe I do want to rape you." "What?" She was taken aback, and he shook his head rapidly; "No, no, I'm sorry, I meant make love to you, I don't know why I said it like that!" "Why would you want to make love to me already!?" "Blame it on the coma!" More silence. Madison had hopped up from her chair, but didn't quite run away. There was something about him. Those warm eyes. That smile. Rather than moving away, she leaned in closer. Close enough that her hot breath hit his face. Then, she kissed him. This lingered for a few moments, the sweet exchange of mouthhoney, until they parted with a stringy bridge of spit. "I like you." "I like you too." Madison gave a sideways glance to the window. It was already dark. "I'll have to stay here the whole night." "Fine by me." "Touch me like you touch your father." They fucked until sunset. The End.

"Do you always stutter?" Grace didn't want to answer and prove his question right, so she remained silent, staring pointedly at the wall. Trying to hang out with other people at the academy had definitely gone through some trial and errors, and the young brunette still felt uncomfortable attempting to make conversations. It wasn't like this was any better. Modem was a weird guy with a weird name and he always seemed a little bit... unfocused.
It was rude to judge someone like that, and she felt a bit guilty thinking thoughts like that, but it was hard to think otherwise. How in the world did they even end up by themselves in the room? There had been other people, but they'd somehow dispersed. It was a bit annoying, to be honest. "Would any answer you give me involve stuttering, then?" Okay, so maybe he was more perceptive than she had originally thought.
This wouldn't be an issue if only she could control her terribly shy stuttering whenever she was around other people, but trying to be more sociable only continued to bring out that tic in full force, which just made her feel embarrassed. She finally spared him a glance, noticing the 'reason' he seemed unfocused being lit up in his hand. It made her feel uncomfortable, but she didn't make any moves to leave the room, though she probably should have. "You're cute though, so it makes up for it." A faint blush crossed her cheeks as she went right back to staring at the wall. Maybe she'd need that 'reason' too in order to get through this.

They were both laying sprawled out on a bed, staring up at the ceiling. Neither dared look at each other. Things were silent between them besides the methodical tick of the clock, but Kayla liked things this way. Her heart was racing, just laying next to her. Damn it... A hot flush had spread across her face. You're being an idiot. Stop it. This isn't...
Her heart accelerated in her chest as a gentle hand ran over hers. It was a soft touch. A caring touch. A reassuring touch. For the first time for what could've been an eternity, Kayla turned her head to stare Hosa in the eyes. Blue eyes, like two crystal pools. Kayla lost herself in their depths. Hosa's fingers twining through hers was the only thing that could jolt her back to reality.
She tore her gaze away. "Stop that..." Kayla didn't make any move to pull her hand away. "Idiot..."
"Kayla," Hosa said, so soft, her voice hardly louder than a whisper. "It's okay."
The prefect turned on the bed and crawled over her, her long black hair falling to tickle her face. Stop... She meant to say it, but she couldn't find her voice. Kayla could feel Hosa's breath on her face. Don't...
Hosa closed her eyes and leaned down. Her lips tasted like cherries.
