Bored in the lounge [Open]

Sarah was lying on the couch, eyes lazily watching the television, which had the news on it. There wasn't much news to actually report, so all they did was make stupid news anchor jokes. She shook her head and rolled her eyes.'Wow. Why am I watching this?' she thought.

Louis walked in the lounge and sighed. He had met around 5 people so far, and wondered the school for awhile. Earlier he was looking at the map he was given and realized he missed a few rooms. One happened to be the lounge. He wished his bird friends were with him, but they probably wouldn't want to come in were people live and they were probably not aloud.

The autumn grabbed the remote to change the channel when she noticed that she wasn't the only one in the room anymore. She glanced behind her to see a blonde boy enter. She sat up and and smiled. "Hello!" she said, motioning for him to come sit down.

He saw the girl and her friendly gesture and cautiously went to the couch and sat down, still looking around at the cozy room.

"So what's your name? Mine's Sarah!" she said. The boy must be shy, so he tried to be look as friendly as possible.

"Ahh. So you're still new. I haven't been here long myself. I just got sorted maybe a week ago into Autumn.I'm here because my dorm is really boring. My dormmate hardly ever actually talks to me." she replied.

"Hmm. Some times, I restore myself when alone." he said peacefully. Maybe it could be a time for you to reflect on things in life?" he asked her.

Sarah looked questioningly at Louis. Restore herself? What did that mean? "Umm.. I suppose some reflection could be good for me." she said, slightly confused.

Sarah nodded. "I really don't have much to talk about though. I'm just really bored." she said.

"Well is there anything that you like to do for fun? Board games, video games, hanging out with nature?" he said in a very calm, and sweet tone.

"Video games are fun, but relaxing outside is what I like to do a lot. But, since its kinda cloudy and grey, outside seems pretty bleh." she answered. "What about you? What do you like to do?."

"I usually read books or chill out with the animals. I mean, that is like the only thing I do, but it gets me by." he chuckled.

Sarah laughed lightly. "I'm guessing your gift is either mental or animal related?". She asked smiling.
