She wasn't an outdoor person at all.

As the trees had changed colors from green to orange or red Ella had stayed tucked away indoors. Ugh, she hated the winter seasons. The brunette had been spending alot of time wandering the hallways mainly ditching class because thats what the cool kids did right? But it was a Friday and she was stuck doing nothing, she wasn't going outside that was a fact so she just stood in the middle of the hallways with a small chocolate bar in her hand. The brunette had leaned back onto the lockers as she plugged in her headphones, clearly distracted by her food and her music. Ella still wasn't able too meet many people and the people she did meet had a sudden disliking for her, she didn't understand why but she honestly didn't care what people had thought of her. For Ella Duclos no one's opinion was relevant, unless they were like prettier then her or something but if they weren't she gave zerooooooo shits. The autumn dressed cute as always, wearing a white t-shirt with an expensive scarf and a flashy skirt. Ella had worn pounds of makeup on her face but she figured it looked good on her, in fact she knew it was good in her. One thing very noticeable about Ella was that she was confident and proud, she was sassy and cocky but it made her fun too be around and she was not afraid too speak up for herself period. The brunette had looked up from her phone as she swore she heard footsteps even though she had her earbuds plugged in. "Yoo." She called out plainly and normally glancing back at her phone.

Matthew had just come back from the forest from practicing his gift. He was wearing a hoodie, and his hands were stuffed into the hoodie's pouch. He nearly walked by the girl he had met when Sophia had first arrived when she suddenly spoke up. He thought he couldn't hear him because she very obviously was listening to music. "Uhh. Hi. You're Emma, right?" he said, not really confident in his name-remembering skills.

The brunette had blinked slightly alarmed by this guy wearing his hoodie and saying that her name was Emma, what kind of shit was that? She had felt like she knew this voice but she couldn't exactly see his face when it was covered with some hoodie. Her eyes had narrowed as she watched him and observed him, she reached for her lipgloss as she applied another layer her smacking her lips dry as she finally responded too his question. "It's Ella." She answered cooly as she glanced down too see what he was wearing it was clear he was doing some sort of workout or something. "Who are you?" Ella had asked completely not knowing who this guy was she had figured he must of heard her name.. or something because she was gaining popularity.

"Sorry. I'm not really good with names. But mine's Matthew. We met when you and Sophia arrived." he explained. "What are you doing inside, anyway? It's gorgeous outside."

Matthew..? Ella had blinked only staring at him blankly as she tried too remember where she had met him. Thats when it hit her, it was him and that other dude that had greeted her and Sophia. Out of everyone she knew at the moment Sophia was probably the person she had hated the most, the way she acted so cute and innocent made her stomach twist and turn just her name wanted her too throw up. "Don't feel too bad I'm not good with faces or names." Ella had said with a flashy smile as she shrugged simply. Although she did remember Sophia's name and face crystal clear, that bitch.. Clearing her throat Ella had only shrugged again at his question. "I hate the fall, and I hate winter I prefer summer over everything." The brunette said as she stuffed her phone and lipstick back into her purse her earbuds falling out of her lobes. "So what were you doing? Seems like you work-out often?" The autumn was into guys that had a body she just couldn't resist when she spotted some abs on a dude.

Matthew nodded. "I work out occasionally, but this was because I like to work on my gift a lot. It's been a slow development with my power." he said, giving a small smile.

Her interest had slightly peaked when he said those words. Leaning forward Ella looked at him with curious eyes. "Really? I don't think you told me what you're gift was." She was always willing too become close with dudes being friends with the other gender was so much easier, which was probably why Ella was considered a little player back at her old school she hardly had a good friend that was a girl. "If you want i'd be more than willing too help you train for you're.." Ella had paused coming a little closer as she gently smiled. "..Gift"

She had moved back quickly in attempt too tempt him too keep her going. The brunette had flipped her short hair back as she smiled gently. "Whoops sorry, I wasn't too close was I?" The autumn had asked her cheeks becoming slightly rosy as she purposely glanced away. She was too uncontrollable, the brunette had quickly changed the subject. "So do you love life?"

Matthew blushed slightly when she got closer. "My gift is called Matter Absorption. Watch." he said, putting his hand on a locker behind the girl. He concentrated and the metal from the locker began morphing onto the Winter without the locker changing in any way. "See?" he said, moving his hand away from the locker, but the metal stayed. He kept it there for a few moments and then let it slip. "Oh, and I guess life's pretty good." he replied to her obvious attempt to change the conversation. He was still blushing, and he wasn't sure why.

Ella had watched, the brunette was clearly interested in what his gift could do. Her jaw had slowly dropped when a locker had came apart and became small looking metal-balls. Who knows how powerful his gift would become if he masters it?! Although her own gift was pretty impressive in its own ways probably better then Matthews. The brunette had flipped her hair back clearing her throat as she smiled again at Matthew. "Thats amazing!" She had exclaimed nodding eagerly for the winter. Alright now it's my turn too show off." Ella had said with a small wink slightly sticking her tongue out at Matthew. The way she said it was slightly cocky but it was barely noticeable she doubted that Matthew would notice it. In a flash Ella had pulled out paper and paint quickly scribbling on the paper as a small creature had leaped out of it.

The creature was rather weird looking he looked rather stretchedout and he couldnt exactly walk right.. Although this only happens because like Matthew, Ella wasnt exactly so 'skilled' at creating art in a flash. It took time and effort so there was no surprise that it turned out badly. However Ella flipped her hair backwards clearly proud of what she just had created. "I posses the ability too bring things that I create too life, cool right?" Ella had squealed happily, if this wasnt cool and talented then what was. Clearing her throat Ella had met Matthews gaze again. The older student was a little too nerdy for her type but at the moment she was desperate and the perfect way too get attention was by getting a boyfriend.. "Anyways..!" Ella had suddenly said with a smile, "I can easily help you train, hit me up."

OOC: This is what Matthew's power is basically.

IC: Matthew gave a smile as he watched the misshapen creature hobble around a bit. He looked back to Ella. "Yeah, I'll definitely take you up on that offer." he said

The brunette gave an eager nod, "Cool Cool." Ella had replied glancing at her chocolate bar and then Matthew. She didn't give it a second thought, the brunette had quickly snapped it in half and threw it towards Matthew it wasn't a easy catch but it wasn't a difficult one. "Like chocolate? It's white." Ella said with a pleased smile, taking another bite out of hers she hated dark chocolate it was too bitter.

Matthew barely caught the chocolate because he was surprised. "Uhh.. thanks." he said, taking a bite.

The brunette had nodded simply a pleased smile on her face as their was a sort of glint in her eyes. Finally she was able too talk with someone one on one without it being so awkward or uncomfortable, guys were the cool people after all. Ella had used her fingers too move some of her bangs out of the way of her eyes, as she glanced back at Matthew looking over at his music player. Curiousity had sparked the question "So what music do you like?" Ella had asked trying too strike a conversation. Matthew was nice and everything but there wasn't anything about him that was well.. fun. He was boring and she was leading this entire conversation he is probably out of his comfort zone by talking with her.

"All kinds. Mostly classic rock. What kind do you like to listen to?" he replied. To be honest, he wasn't sure what to say to the girl. He was never good with words, plus he was slightly intimidated by her.
